  1. How u gonna subtract both the 1st & 2nd picks ? The draft is the way you address your weaknesses. Beane added some great pick ups in FA as well. Some on this board really took that Cinci loss badly. This is still a premier team and there is absolutely no way in hell they finish 3rd in the division, that’s pretty ridiculous. Buffalo is the class of the AFCE until the Jets or Miami takes the division (which they both haven’t in well over a decade.) Winning Free agency doesn’t = winning games.
  2. How do you know this ? Training camp hasn’t even started yet.
  3. Chiefs are gonna have the throne until proven otherwise. Buffalo also have the Jets to worry about now who certainly have SB aspirations if Rodgers returns to MVP form, I’m not convinced he is finished based off one “bad” year (still threw for 26 TDs.) The AFC is so stacked that 5 or so different teams have legit reason to challenge for the title. It’s going to be a gauntlet. I refuse to put all my chips on Buffalo after they broke my heart last year and the year before. I think the rejuvenation of the O-line will be the key to winning a SB. Love the Kincaid pick, but they always have Knox to fall back on. To me, Torrence is going to be the true X-factor and most important rookie along w/ Bates’ progression. If those players can both play at a high level then the sky is really the limit for this team. You give Allen strong protection and an above average running game it’s over for the rest of the AFC. That’s too many “ifs” for me to place them as the favorites.
  4. Yeah, I agree. The record should be average yards per game instead of total yards.
  5. Damn. That’s a thicc boi
  6. Praying for a running back 🙏 Melvin Ingram would be awesome.
  7. I feel like Allen will start breaking (edit:passing) records in his later years. Forgive me if someone mentioned this, but his rushing TDs/yards are going to eat at his passing ones every year until he slows down (that’s not happening anytime soon despite what the coaches want.) Now he can definitely break a total TD record!
  8. Based on the way Beane plays rookies along w/ Knox stealing snaps it is perfectly reasonable to not have huge expectations. Nobody is telling u that u can’t have an opinion, but take the past into account. I hope i am wrong
  9. Agreed. People need to temper their expectations based on this reason alone. Although That’s actually a pretty good stat line as a #2 TE and would show Kincaid is getting the most out of his opportunities.
  10. This just baffles the **** out of me. Beane has an obsession with RBs. Glad they didn’t waste a draft pick on one at least.
  11. Idk. I’d consider going from the 20th rated prospect to being the 2nd overall player drafted as a considerable reach especially coming out of a college football powerhouse like Syracuse. Aaron Maybin is in his own category as far as draft reaches go. 😂
  12. My brain tells me Davis, my heart tells me Kincaid. I hope for the latter.
  13. I’m gonna get gigantic **** for this, but Donte Whitner was considered a huge reach. He went on to have a pretty productive 11 year career. Donovan McNabb also. I remember the boos on draft day. Turned out pretty solid 👍
  14. This is the type of pick that could end up being a steal. Remember Diggs was also a 5th rounder. You never know 🤷🏻
  15. Kelce is a first ballot HOFer and maybe a top 3 TE of all time. Those are huge shoes to fill. If Kincaid can develop into a Greg Olsen type guy then I’ll be plenty happy. Easily. Tight Ends have a shelf life compared to QBs. Guys like Witten, Tony G, Gates all played well into their late 30s.
  16. I mean we aren’t going one & done in the playoffs every year so I don’t think they are just “regular season” good. We just weren’t a championship caliber team. Buffalo lacked the fire power of teams like the Eagles, Chiefs, and Bengals. Nabbing the best TE in the draft was monumental in fixing that. I just have a very good feeling about this draft. I can’t explain it
  17. Hey, people gotta start somewhere.
  18. I picked Klein, but I feel Bernard is being slept on. It’s only his 2nd year.
  19. Bills will be just fine without Edmunds. My point is I’m glad they didn’t draft a MLB high and instead went w/ the #1 TE prospect + top rated guard Torrence. Those 2 will more than make up for whatever setbacks the defense faces without #49. We have never had an elite TE before (they are almost as difficult to find as a franchise QB.) Just the thought of one paired w/ Allen gives me goosebumps. This type of draft has been long overdue assuming the picks pan out. The defense will continue to be a top 10 unit which is more than enough w/ an offense of this caliber.
  20. This is gonna be Beanes best draft since 2018. 2 monster additions to the offense making Josh Allen’s life much easier. Who needs a good defense when you have that kind of fire power ?
  21. I love the fact that he has a basketball background. Served a lot of great TEs well.
  22. Guard guard guard PLEASE 🙏
  23. They absolutely will, but I think Buffalo wins it by a narrow margin. McDermott taking over the defense could potentially be huge + Rousseau taking the next step (he has steadily improved each year from 4 to 8 sacks in year 2) along w/ Elam. Cook & Shakir also for the offense. The roster is going to be much improved this year as the young players in key positions continue to develop. It also depends on Rodgers. If he returns to 2021 form then a wildcard for Buffalo is very possible. No way is he as bad as he was last year, I think he will be somewhere in the middle. Jets & Miami are no longer free wins and that’s a fact. Those days are over. Jets will be the true rival this year. I think Saleh is the real deal.
  24. I disagree. Doug Flutie had a historical career and saw success in 3 different leagues. And is a NCAA and CFL HOFer. His role should be well-cemented in the story of football. IMO he is well worth mentioning.
