Love the Sopranos reference, ya know Bills Mafia and all 😂 Bills are a storied small market franchise similar to teams like the Browns, Steelers, Packers, etc. You can't tell the story of the NFL/AFL without them. There's something charming about the Bills. I know I would root for them even if I wasn't born into it. I'm not a fan of any team relocating even if it's a division rival.

Hollister signing with Jags
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to SC BIlls Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I definitely screwed the pooch on this one. I made a thread asking people who their breakout players were this year and one of my 2 was Hollister. I fed into the Wyoming connection and the lack of TE talent on the roster. I still don't understand why we still have Knox other than it was pretty much a wash, but Knox knows the offense better + he's younger (?) so that's what kept him around longer. I guess that's why I post on a message board and don't run an NFL team 😂 My other choice was Espenesa so here's to hoping ONE of my predictions becoming right. With all the Rousseau hype, he's a guy I'm watching for. -
I love Josh Allen as much as the next fan, but let's cut the "Allen is BETTER than Favre" BS 😒 Favre played at a high level for nearly 20 years. For the stat crowd that brought up that Allen's 2020 season was better than any of Favres...it was a different ERA. Look no further than his 1st vikings season where he put up 33 TD to 7 picks (his best TD-INT) w/ 4200 yards at nearly 41 years old. It's not that he all the sudden got better, these were the times when pass interference, def holding, and roughing calls started becoming more prevalent. Coincidence? I don't think so. Same w/ Tom Brady. There's no way he would've held up this long in any other decade before this. I'm going to lump you guys in w/ the "Allen is better than Jim Kelly" crowd also. The bottom line is both Kelly & Favre would've absolutely CRUSHED it in this era. I'm not even that old, but I've seen enough games from that time to know the difference. A lot of fans need a serious history lesson on the NFL. 😒 Josh had one elite season. Favre is a certified HOFer w/ a ring. Cool your jets...

As somebody pointed out earlier, he's in one of the best situations a WR can be in. Great OC, great WRs to learn from, and great QB. If he fails to really take the next step, it will be nobody's fault, but his own. I don't believe Sanders or anyone else minus Diggs will keep him pushed down the depth chart. Because we Bills fans need to relive that past pain every once in awhile to truly appreciate what we have in the present !

Beasley is the engine that keeps this offense ticking. If he ever gets sidelined for any reason, I expect a decent drop off in 3rd down percentage. Some people just don't understand how good at his job he really is. I hate when people say he's not the future and guys like McKenzie will take his spot. Not happening. Good slot receivers can play well into their 30s, but only if he decides it's worth the toll on his body to do so. The guy hasn't slowed down one bit and actually aged like wine.

First off, please don't jump down my throat. It's just a random thought/question and not a preseason overreaction. This has been on my mind since the end of last season. When I watch Davis ball, he looks like a star in the making. The chemistry between him and Allen has been evident from the beginning. He's not the fastest guy, but and can stretch the field. He's also great in the Red zone coming in 3rd place of all rookies last year in TD receptions + is the best on the team at making those sideline catches (IMO.) Great measurables, sure handed, and versatile. What more can you ask for? My only concern is his lack of production in the playoffs specifically against KC when we needed someone to really step up. I don't wanna say I exactly "disappointed" that the Bills picked up Emmanuel Sanders, I know depth is never a bad thing, but I really wanted to see where his progression would lead to getting more targets. I feel he will eventually take that #2 (if he already hasn't) and become a 1B guy to Diggs. What do you guys think?

I feel like guys like Edmunds and especially Ed Oliver would be under way more fire if we didn't have Josh Allen on the team. Fortunately, we don't have to rely on the defense as much to win games so underperforming draft picks aren't getting as much critique as they should. This is the Bill Bellichick effect. In years past, Oliver would be getting roasted by this message board. This is my opinion so take it or leave it.

Bills, Steelers week 1 temperature check

Well, the amount he would have in week 15 opposed to now. He's a shell of his former self, but can still put up a monster game. -
Bills, Steelers week 1 temperature check
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to QBorBust2018's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Valid points. I think the defense will come together by week 5-6. And Daboll is going to tweak the offensive scheme to make the run game serviceable and don't forget Allen's mandatory 600+ 8-10 TDs on the ground. And I don't think Allen really has any weaknesses other than his fumbling and (if you even call this a weakness) always looking for the big play even if there's a safer option to check down to. I feel he is the hardest QB to scheme against because he's such a good improviser and runner. -

Like some before stated, it's going to be a dog fight. The first games of a season are always crazy & unpredictable. Look how many time the Drought-years Bills came on super strong in the first few games in the season only to sink back into obscurity, mathematically eliminating themselves by November. The Bills are no doubt the superior team and will have a better record when it's all said and done, but don't count out a very hungry Steelers team (who I predict will win the North.) Big Ben won't have the wear & tear and both teams won't have any film on each other from this season. I predict a high scoring game as the defenses having quite caught up. 31-28 Bills w/ Bass kicking the game winner. -

Harrison Phillips knee injury
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's bound to happen to somebody. Better him than Oliver or Edmunds. It sucks because he had the game of his career against Baltimore and I was really excited to see what he could do this season. Defensive tackles tend to need more development. Shucks -
Kumerow and the WR Glut
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Ray Stonada's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
McKenzie is an absolute lock so I'll take him out of the equation. I love Stevenson's athletiscm and he's a homegrown draft pick so he has that going for him. I don't think the coaches are going to take the chance of McKenzie potentially losing a game on a dropped punt and that makes Stevenson all the more valuable. Kumerow was a guy living purely on hype and (Aaron Rodgers) word of mouth, but now he's excelling in the off-season. He's also got the ST thing going for him along w/ great RedZone potential. As was said before, he's older than I originally thought so that could be a deal breaker. My heart says Kumerow, but my brain says Stevenson. I'm gonna go w/ my heart. Just because. -
Kumerow and the WR Glut
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Ray Stonada's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Despite being for the 6th WR, this is one of the most intriguing battles battles of camp for me. I'll admit it, (and I hate to) I'm really feeding into the Kumerow hype in the same way I did for Chris Hogan who ended up having a VERY solid career. A perpetual camp stud who just needed a chance. It's a great storyline and I hope he makes the roster. If I was a betting man then I would put my chips on Kumerow. I just never felt the same about Duke Williams for some reason. Cheers 🍺 This is an overlooked point. McKenzie taking over the returner role would've been big for JK as it might free up an additional roster spot. I hope he gets it together for the last 2 preseason games. He's truly electrifying in the open field. -
#11 on NFL Top 100: Stefon Diggs!
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to IgotBILLStopay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, it started when Tre White came in at 95. I don't agree w/ their list. This just in: Bills fan thinks Bills player should be ranked higher! 😯😯 The audacity! -

ChronicAndKnuckles replied to IgotBILLStopay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can understand where you're coming from I could've worded it differently. I just thought that Allen & Diggs would be locks for the top 10 before the list came out. It doesn't ruin my day or have an effect on my life like some people on this board. Rankings are rankings and the actual games are what matters, not Pro Bowls and stupid honors that mean nothing. -
#11 on NFL Top 100: Stefon Diggs!
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to IgotBILLStopay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can't even disagree on a ranking without getting attacked on this board 😆 Yes, Diggs got screwed this year and should've been a top 10 player. He was one of the main reasons for the AFCC run and made some huge catches in the playoffs. In regards to Buffalo getting no respect in the media, how long have u been a Bills fan and u haven't noticed this? The chip on my shoulder didn't just magically appear there. There's some basis in reality to it.
