It's so hard to judge cornerback play. The coaches obviously saw something that bothered them. This is a big division game and hugely important to set the tone for the rest of the season. It's very telling that McDermott doesn't want Elam suited up even as a backup. I'm not saying he should be traded, but this is concerning.
