Star Lotulelei OUT with COVID - Could Miss Next Week Too
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the odds of getting beat twice by 2 Trevor's in one season are too low. Bills win -
Ughhh, looks like another rainy home game

Shut down their running game and force turnovers. That will be the key. Protect the ball ourselves. Wow, I would've punched that guy in the face. -

True I guess, but it's frustrating as **** that this guy is never on the field. He opted out last year and that was his choice. -

If he can perform like he did against the Ravens in the playoffs last year then we should be good. This is going to be a tougher game than people think, but I think we got it. -

Let's say we win against the Colts. Next week we have another big game against the Saints (every game is big at this point like u said.) Patriots face the Titans. Do we root for the Titans to propel us to a 1 & a 1/2 game lead in the division? Or do we root for the Pats to put us a game behind 1st place? If he can perform like he did against the Ravens in the playoffs last year then we should be good. This is going to be a tougher game than people think, but I think we got it. -
I hope Brieda gets his playing time. Long drives are going to be huge for us and we need the running game to click. I'm not sure how Colts are against the run? Turnovers are going to be huge in this game.

This guy has been so inconcestent since he's been here. I hope they find a replacement for him next year in free agency. Star is awesome when he's on the field, but someone needs to draw the line eventually. I hope Harrison Phillips has a big game. Maybe his replacement is already on the team. -
Titans have a maximum of 2 more losses. The game that confused me is the the following game against the Patriots. Who do we root for? If they beat the Pats and we win, it puts us a game ahead in the division. It Pats win then it gets us a game closer to the #1 spot. This is an absolutely crazy season.

Good. If Star is out we're going to need him big time. Colts are going to be one of those 15 snap teams.

This really sucks. Does anyone have an update? We need him for Jonathan Taylor. They would have to absolutely implode for that to happen. As long as we have our core guys we're good. -
OT: Are you concerned about Mac Jones?
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've been concerned by Mac Jones since the day he was drafted in our division. He seemed too perfect of a fit for that team. Accuracy is THE most important thing for a QB and that happens to be his best trait. #1 all time in the FBS in completion percentage. He's also got a stronger arm than people think. People here just dismissed him because he went to Alabama. When are people going to learn that school doesn't matter? You would think after drafting a Wyoming QB that people would realize that. Yes, Mac Jones is here to stay. I'm not a Patriots fan, I'm a realistic Bills fan. I'm not saying he's going to become elite, but it's certainly possible. Floor = Kirk Cousins/Chad Pennington Ceiling = Drew Brees (if he somehow puts it all together, but I give it a 10% chance of happening.) People keep waiting for that bad game and it hasn't happened. I certainly have. Patriots are winning and Jones is an integral part of that. They're a half a game behind us. Does that not worry you? We got lucky w/ Darnold, Tua, and Wilson. Eventually someone's going to hit and I think the Patriots did. I'm not sure, but I'm looking forward to these Patriots matchups more than anything. Let's see how he handles an elite defense. -
This Falcons team has no fight in them. Reminds me of mid 2000s Bills. Where the heck is Pitts? Guy was supposed to be the next Antonia Gates. He needs to be a better outlet for Matt Ryan from all the pressure he faces. I hope really hope that stupid Jax game doesn't come back to bite us in the *** in the division race.

Screw all that. They don't deserve your sympathy. Mike White would've been a cool story on any other team outside the division, but since he's a Jet he deserves no mercy. Trust me neither their fans nor players would give 2 ****s if Allen went down or had a rough game. It's a cold, cold world 🤕 Mike White should've learned from Josh Rosen not to make a dumb & arrogant comment like that. All it does is put a target on your back and huge expectations. Some people need to study the history more.

Yeah, Spiller would've fared much better in a zone blocking scheme. They never figured out ways to get him into open space. While I don't think he would've ended up like Chris Johnson given a better situation I think he could've definitely been a Darren Sproles type player. Either way it was a dumb pick

Gabriel Davis with Week 10’s Toe Drag Swag!
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Coming off his latest game he deserves more snaps. And like you said because of his prior success against them he should be out there. -
You left out Amendola and Stokley, 2 comparable WRs who played until their late 30s putting up solid production the whole way. A nose dive? Edleman was injured his final year and only played in 6 games. Prior to that (his 2nd to last season) he had a career year w/ 1100 yards and a Super Bowl MVP to go with it. There's no reason to think he couldn't of had a few more years production. He quit while he was ahead like most smart NFL players do. Put him on Tampa w/ Tom now and I don't think he loses a beat. My point about Cobb was he's still going strong at his age. I watch a lot of Packers game because my brothers a fan and the guy is just as shifty & nimble as he was 8 years ago. Not the best example, but his book hasn't been written yet as he's not retired. Welker also had the #1 and #2 greatest QBs of all time throwing to him so course he's had better seasons than Cole. As much as we love to pump up Josh Allen, he's no Peyton or Brady. Look at how many of these guys have been on championship teams. It just goes to show how important a good slot receiver is. I guess we'll agree to disagree.
