You aren’t imagining it. Chiefs skill positions players in general have been garbage for the past 2 years. Kelce has been dropping some very catchable balls. Mahomes just doesn’t have enough firepower and I don’t think they win their division this year.

I think the Jets game plan on defense would’ve been entirely different. And the receivers wouldn’t be nearly as open. You have to defend the entire field when you play Allen. Trubisky they would’ve stacked the box and dared him to throw.

I just wanna say that the 2017 QB class might rival 83 at some point. Baker Mayfield played a phenomenal game. That run on 4th and ten during the last drive 😪 Total command of the offense & clock, left Houston with 0:06 and still had leftover time outs. Someone predicted a Bills vs Bucs SB and I initially laughed it off, but I can definitely see it now.

Chiefs and Eagles are the only 2 very possible losses I see on paper. The Bucs have a chance and MAYBE the Patriots on the road since we usually lose 1 or 2 divisional games. But there’s the homer part of me that thinks they can go undefeated so who knows? If I was betting I would say Buffalo has 3 L’s this year. First one will be the Chiefs, but we end up beating them in the more important postseason matchup.

I bought YouTube premium and the NFL posts highlights which are basically condensed version of games. It’s a great way to watch a whole game in under 15 minutes and this way I can have a better idea of what’s going on in the league without investing 3 1/2 hours. Edit: premium is important or else the ads are going to kill you. They have a Lite version which is 8 bucks a month, but still has ads on music videos. Well worth it

Everyone and their grandma knows what the Bills are going to do, but they still can’t stop them. That’s what I love. Physically dominating an opponent and there’s nothing they can do about it. I don’t mind a trick play to ignite a spark for a sputtering offense. I just don’t think Buffalo needs to resort to those tactics yet.

The offensive line as a UNIT. This dominant performance on the ground wouldn’t have happened without them. I think these guys will be the difference between a championship season. Their chemistry and durability is off the charts. We are going to see career highs in rushing numbers. If they can do that to the Jets and Ravems then they are going to destroy the rest of the schedule. My defensive MVP is Bosa. He’s going to make a strong case for comeback player of the year. 3 FF and a Sack already. One of the main reasons we won both weeks. He needs to stay healthy.

Bosa is 29. Those are prime years for a DE.

They want to pad Lamar’s stat for another MVP. The Bills are too classy for that. Edit: they’ll never make a SB so the best thing they can do is rack up regular season accolades. I called this guy a bust before he was even drafted. The amount of protection he got a USC was ridiculous even for college standards. Sending him to Chicago was the nail in the coffin. His best bet is to learn the game as a backup and catch on somewhere else like Geno Smith.

Even when Burrow comes back it is likely an injury that will be nagging him badly the entire season. Their backup reminds me of the ol’ Amish Rifle. I think they can go .500 until Burrow gets back. Especially if the defense can get it together, but that’s a big if.
