  1. Maybin has no moves....strictly north-south
  2. I like the play calling on that series. Chan is mixing it up nicely. Trent is showing good pocket awareness!
  3. Let's see how far off the line the DBs play this series. They need to be more aggressive on the line as the WRs take off.
  4. If McKelvin hadn't slipping in the end zone, Ocho may not have had that reception. D is looking bad so far.
  5. I hope Mitchell improves! He's getting swallowed up on the line and not waiting.
  6. What is up with special teams? The kick coverage looks bad. They have to stay in their lanes and quit following the guy in front of them.
  7. Offense looked good on the second series. Trent got rid of the ball fast. Nice crossing route by Parrish for the TD.
  8. O-line looks pourous tonight.
  9. WTF Florence????? Another penalty.
  10. I noticed that you don't need to buy the Super Fan package anymore to get the games in HD. But when I saw the new price of the subscription to just the ticket, I figured that's where they made up the difference.
  11. Beerball, I could stare at your avatar all night!!!!
  12. It's good to see that. Maybe the injury bug will be few and far between this year!
  13. Again Buffalo had needs at other positions than to be trading away picks for McNabb. Take a QB in the later rounds and build up the lines. Why is the media and everyone so bent on McNabb coming here? Take a look at Bob Matthews article in the Rochester DandC......is he on crack?
  14. I have a feeling Kennedy will sign with Buffalo despite the Vikings being in contact with his agent. In his interview, it sounded like he'd have a decent shot at starting.
  15. I'll have to agree with Baby Joe. The perfect example was the Saints game. It was very close until the 4th quarter and the defense completely wore itself out. If the offense could have stayed on the field and got some points, maybe the defense would have held up. I think the defense just needs some tweaking and a damn good DC.
  16. Get 'er done Chan!!!
  17. Hmm, Wade as DC is Frazier is HC. Not a bad thought. Who's out there for OC? Was Fassel an OC? Would he be worth looking at?
  18. Looking at the replies to the article, I don't see how bringing Garrett in would be a good idea. Let Jerry Jones woo him and make him his head coach. The other responses of bring Wade Phillips back to Buffalo isn't going to happen. Wade was burned and he'll remember that.
  19. Great first post and I agree with your response. I agree, the Bills won't see a new stadium any time soon. The economy can't support one. As cleaning house, Brandon knows what he's doing in marketing the team; let him do that. Buddy Nix is what the team needs; a "Football" knowledgeable person. I don't think he's going to hire just anyone. I think the coach he does hire will have been scrutinized. I for one don't believe Harbough was offered the job. If Frazier was so high on their list, then why offered the job to JH? Maybe JH was interviewed before Frazier was and it's just finally being reported. As for Guy and Modrak, maybe with Buddy lurking over their shoulder and having more say in the draft and FA's coming in, maybe we'll see a better product. If the Saints win next weekend, I'm sure we'll see the announcement of Frazier in the week to come. Nobody thought Rex Ryan was going to get the Jets anywhere (sure they backdoored their way in) but he's got them believing and look at them now! Jauron had no passion, no fire. I think Frazier, with some good drafting, will get this team on its way.
  20. I like the idea of Frazier as well. I'm not sure who is available out there that would be positional coaches to hire, but one thing for sure is they need to bring in a very good and respected strength and conditioning coach. I know this has been said before, but ever since Rusty Jones left, this team has had more injuries and players put on IR. Maybe some of it has had to do with the fact that training camp under DJ was Shangri-la in the summer. Maybe the players themselves haven't been with the program either and taking it easy. Either way, this team needs someone to shake the rust off of the players, and get them and keep them in football condition to play.
  21. Question for you season ticket holders. I know I'll probably be asked "Why?" but here goes. My son and I are thinking about getting a pair of season tickets for this year. I live in Arizona and he is in western NY. When do they go on sale and how do you get to pick your seats? I have read in the past that they have a day where you can go to the stadium and choose that way. Still they still do that? What sections are the best to select from? I haven't been back to the Ralph in several years. So a little help here would certainly be appreciated. Thanks folks.
  22. I like this too. Let Peters walk and get some depth through the draft. I think with the signing of Owens, bring in a good TE and I think the offense has some potential here. I think what we're forgetting is that the WRs last year didn't and couldn't get open as quick as they should have. Now with Owens in the mix, defenses are going to play more honest and I think Trent is going to have more time and better options in the 3 and 4 WR packages. I say take the money you would give Peters and spend it on a decent 1st round pick that can be an impact immediately and then sign Fred Jackson to a long term contract.
  23. I'm sorry, but it's hard to watch this team week in and week out give the game away. After the Cards loss, it's like this team has no passion; from the coaching staff down to the players. There is no imagination or aggressiveness in the play calling. The offensive line is overpaid and over rated. There is no trust in the run game; on 3-1 they pass, pass, and pass again. The defensive line can't get any pressure with just four down linemen. Where the hell is the aggressiveness that Fewell bragged about all preseason? Every team has injuries, but they play. No one on this team is stepping up. This team is packing it in and has no heart. We will be lucky to have an 8-8 season at the very best. The 49ers, Browns and KC games are not going to be easy.
