Players that were snubed at first glace DT - Mount Washington - I'll take Teddy Mt Washington over any of these DTs any day of the week especially on Sunday's. MLB- Chris Speilman- although Speilman didn't play long he was fun to watch as a Bill and was still a really good player. CB - Antoine Winfield - AW was a lock down corner that can flip a TE with a big hit he was awesome. WR - James Lofton - Lofton is a Hof player should I say more.

Sweet Spots for Trade up during Draft
BillsFan1988 replied to BillsFan1988's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I made this post explaining why Sea/Balt can be sweet spots for a deal at 21/22 . They will be moving unless a player they have ranked very highly falls to them book it. -
90% chance none of these guys available at #40 . So if u want one u definitely have to trade up.

If anyone still thinks we drafted the wrong QB

Even though I have grown to admire JA as a person and a player I still think we messed up not drafting Mahomes the previous draft. But for last yr we did the right thing. -
Sweet Spots for Trade up during Draft
BillsFan1988 replied to BillsFan1988's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's definitely a possibility I should of probably added more Wrs to the list but figured the Bills would wait till #40 because the value is great at that pt for that position. -
I don't think the Bills will trade our 1st in 2020 to move up in this draft so I'm listing the teams where we can move up to that meets the value . Top Players the Bills will target to move up for Bosa, Allen, Quinnen or possibly Oliver #5 Bucs- The Bucs have needs at LB, Pass Rush and possibly Oline so there definitely a team that can entertain moving back with the Bills if there's a player or players they identify at #9 . The cost could be a 2nd this yr and a 3rd in 2020 or and even more to move up for us. #6 NYG- Same as the Bucs the Giants have many holes to fill can be willing to move bk 3 spots to #9 , price possibly a 3 & 5 to get there . Bottom of first 21/22 Seahawks or Ravens I listed these teams together because there pretty much in the same situation . They both don't have a 2nd rd pk and there both teams that love to take BPA . Knowing this draft has the same type of players from 20s to 40s these 2 teams will look to move bk. The Price is a 2nd, 3rd , 4th & 5th . I also have been hearing multiple reports that these teams are both seeking to trade bk. Now depending on who we take at #9 these can be the player or players we move up for. # 9 - Hock, if we draft Hockenson the Bills can possibly move up for either DTs Wilkins, Simmons, Tillery or Lawerence and at DE Burns or Ferrell. # 9- Oliver or Sweat- if we go DT or DE I wouldn't rule out us trading up for the other position on the Dline . Same players I listed above can be there . Also if we are seeking a player on offense the targets can be TE Noah Fant or WR DK Metcalf. The question is what would be the best combination to trade up for in this draft. These are just a few examples here on the bottom feel free to come up with your own. 1. Hock and Wilkins 2. Oliver and Fant 3. Oliver and Burns 4. Sweat and Simmons

The game is changing teams are catching on to the importance of the TEs . 3 of them will go in the 1st rd . How many TEs go in the first rd on a yr to yr basis not many 1 at the most on average maybe less then that. I expect that number to start to rise now that on the college and high school levels there starting to put the best athletes at this position.

I think ex Bills back Derrick Holmes is locked up for murder also . -
Tony Pauline: 3 Horse Race for #9
BillsFan1988 replied to N.Y. Orangeman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like what McBeane is doing this offseason but player flexibility thing is going to far. We keep taking guys like this we will have alot of players that are Jack's of all trades master of none situations. -
Other then physical attributes I don't see why people have Boykin rated highly. I got him as a 4th, 5th rd pk.

Bills have interest in Seattle DE Frank Clark
BillsFan1988 replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Also very possible it's the Cordy type deal where we just swap firsts. We get #21 they get #9. If I was Beane I would just wait till after the draft. If we get Oliver @ #9 then offer the Seahawks a 2nd in 2020. -
Feels like Pick 9 is no-mans land
BillsFan1988 replied to foreboding's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pk #9 can actually be the best pk of the entire draft or pk #99 or #199 when it's all said and done . Don't overthink it. -
Reading tea leaves: Bills trade down with NYG or OAK
BillsFan1988 replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wouldn't demand anything that's what I will ask for that's what makes moving bk 15 spots worth it to me. They can say yes or no after that. But I sure won't just take 24 & 27 and flip them bk #9 & 112 . -
Yes we got Hock baby! . Now let's hope either Tillery or Simmons fall to #40 or we could trade up for one of them at the right time. I'm just practicing my reaction ?
-
Expect the unexpected on draft day. I got Oliver off the board before we pk also anywhere from 4-8 . Maybe Gary or Sweat will be there for us on the edge but if I'm the Bills I'm taking TJ Hockenson at that pt.

The Raiders pks #24 - 740 #27 - 680 #35 - 550 = 1970 Bills =1350 So 670 pt difference , that's the deal we should get from them. Maybe kick bk a 4th for good measure #24 - TE Fant #27 - DT Tillery #35- OT Risner #40 - DE Winovich #74- Isabella Luck Charms Scenario #24 DE Brian Burns #27 TE Noah Fant #35 DT Jeffery Simmons #40 OT/G Dalton Risner #74 Wr Andy Isabella -

When it comes to QBs u have to pay threw the teeth . I dont like what we are getting here. Last yr we gave up 2 2s to move up 5 slots. The Raiders call I want 24,27,35 I'll be willing to give them bk #9 and # 112. The Giants I want 17, 37 and a 2nd next yr. -
Hypothetical Mock, Who would u select @ #9

Definitely have to do our homework on Metcalf he's super talented. -

I've seen games were most of these top prospects were dominated. GMs have to be able to project 2-3 yrs from now on these kids. -

I like Christian Wilkins but I think we need to pump the brakes on him a little bit here. He's played next to 2 beasts and can only get 11sacks combined over the last 2 yrs. I see Wilkins as a Donte Witner type prospect he'll be a solid pro but nothing special.
