New NFL network 2019 Mock Draft 3 Rd by Chad Reuter
BillsFan1988 replied to freddyjj's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think this is possible. He has a hard time fighting the press and is limited route runner . I heard he also has basic straight line speed. -
Jets released C - Spencer Long

The Phantom Hold and why the NFL is dying
BillsFan1988 replied to Estelle Getty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Let them play I think this is also the theme for the Pats themselves not for there opponents. How is it with human error officials Pat's can go multiple playoffs without being called for holding? I truly believe the Pat's are a great organization and don't really need the help in most gms. But it like they always get the pressure point calls at the worst time for other team. Something just smells like smoke and where there is smoke There's usually fire. -
The Phantom Hold and why the NFL is dying

How is it that Pat's never seem to be on the wrong end of the imperfect officials -
I'm not gonna give all the credit to the refs. The Pat's did some great things during the game . At the same time the Gilmore call was 100% holding on him and on the Gurley run it was not. A bad call at the best possible time for the Pats I'm not surprised.

Non-call affected Super Bowl too
BillsFan1988 replied to IgotBILLStopay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Since there here let them hear this. I DONT RESPECT ManMadeDYNASTY . Let's not forget Bob Kraft is the original cheater of the bunch. He stole Belicheck from the Jets after he was hired. I mean the man had a initial press conference . This dynasty was born in cheating and has lived in it ever since. Must be nice not ever having to play behind the sticks when it matters. The Pat's Oline oh no they never hold EVER!. It must be like 4 playoffs in a row that they haven't gotten more then 1 holding call threwout. Let's not talk about there return units must be nice . -
Is that u McD? Lol. This wasn't football again this some ugly step child of football again. Football again wouldn't have every pass up the middle or even that flag early in the game on the Rams for unnecessary roughness. BTW that holding call on the Rams on the Gurley run was a backbreaker the momentum changed after that. The Pat's always have great timing with these sorts of things.

TJ Hockenson & Hakeem Butler
BillsFan1988 replied to RPbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The prb with Butler is he has a hard time vs the press he's also stiff in the hips and has straight line speed only . I think he'll be available late 2nd or early 3rd. -
What we need is difference makers and in today NFL other then QB u won't find much positions that make a difference more then a TE. If the Bills see TJ Hockenson as the next Kelce then it's a no brainer . Can't find these guys in free agency. Basically franchise QBs & TEs never hit free agency there to valuable . With that being said take the guy and fill your "needs" elsewhere.

No Clowney he's not explosive enough to warrant the type of money he will get. I'd much rather use the money on Grady Jarrett and Donte Fowler. Both players are still young Jarrett is 26 & Fowler 24. These 2 guys will help our dline immensely. Use free agency and mid rds of draft to build the Oline add 3-5 players this off-season . Preferably 3 players in free agency and 2 via draft. The 3 I would target via free agency LT Trent Brown RT D Williams C Mitch Morse Adding these 3 players will allow us to move Dawkins to LG where he has potential to be a pro bowl player . 2019 OLINE LT Brown LG Dawkins C Morse RG Teller RT Williams This line can be a force for yrs to come . I know it will cost some serious money to get these guys to come to Buffalo but even if we have to overpay it will be worth the money. We have the cap space so use it . The Draft In the draft we go hunting for the skill position players . Try to trade bk with Washington and aquire a extra 2nd rd pk. #15 - TE -TJ Hockenson #40 - Wr- Marquis Brown #46- LB- Devin Bush #75- Wr - Andy Isabella 4th Rd- RB Darrell Henderson 2nd 4th RB Elijah Holyfield With this draft our offense can develop into a power house in a few yrs.

My 1st rd pick: OT Greg Little (Ole Miss)
BillsFan1988 replied to Peace Frog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
TJ Hockenson at #9 or hopefully via a trade down. This pk kills 3 birds with 1 stone. #3- He's a Process guy a leader type plays with a ton of passion and loves the gm of football. #2- Great blocker in pass pro and running game. #1- A Incredible athlete at TE can play all over the field, fits any offense . A futuristic type player . Drafting TJ in the first gives us the best player available at a position of need. Book it he will be a top 5 player in this draft when its all said and done. -
Weeding out Benji after trading for him? Lol. Im really starting to think a trade bk with the Skins adding a extra 2 and drafting TJ Hock at #15 is the best and safest way to start the draft.

I agree and would like to add that watching film of Mahomes in college the kid had this Gunslingers gunslinger mindset . In this way Mahomes is a throwback type of QB like Kelly, Marino, Favre & Elway. He has that unmeasured "it" factor. I was begging the Bills to draft him. Hopefully Allen can develop that type of mindset because he has the tools to be a true Gunslinger type QB. The problem is McBeane seems to want to ruin him by using him like a Cam Newton. I hate when they call that QB draw play i cringe when i see it. Im not saying JA shouldnt run. He should be running within the structure of the passing gm ala Young, Elway & Rodgers. I really believe if we keep using JA like Cam we will ruin him.

Draft Prospects in play for Buffalo at #9
BillsFan1988 replied to TigerJ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I got a feeling it wont be any players on this list that we take. Watch out for DK Metcalf if he tears up the combine runs a 4.4 at 6'4 230 he will be the pk. -
Chris Trapasso Mock Draft: Bills take DT Ed Oliver
BillsFan1988 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
None of these guys fit as a 3tech. With that being said i'd rather sign Grady Jarett then draft any of these DT's. -
We've seen the Bills add players on Defense and the oline via free agency over the yrs. Its the top rated skill position guys that really dont sign here. With that being said McBeane really needs to understand this and use the draft especially in the higher rds to aquire these types of players. Use the cap space to add to the lines DLINE DT 3tech Grady Jarett 25 DE Dante Fowler 24 These 2 signings add great depth to our line Grady will give us that burst we didnt have up the middle allowing our ends to get home and get some sacks. Fowler is only 24yrs old and entering his prime. I can see him flourishing in Mcd defense . We still have Shaq, Murph & Hughes on the edges . Sign back Phillips to a modest deal and we will have at least 8players that can play in a heavy rotation. Oline RT D Will 26 LT Trent Brown 26 C Mitch Morse 26 If we can land these 3 players get ready for great yr. I would try to bring them all in on visit from the 1st day of free agency. Overpay if u have to because we will save money on the the skill position players that we aquire during the draft. So overpaying and outbidding everyone wont kill our cap. Plus these guys are all in there primes with yrs ahead of them. Our line will be a strenght for yrs to come.

I would love this but cant see McBeane spending much in free agency. We will be lucky to get one of these guys. -
Draftniks: Name your 2019 Draft "Crush"
BillsFan1988 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I understand the infactuation with Risner but he's not a Nelson type prospect . Yes he's having a great week at the senior bowl but he's not facing anyone there thats projected to go really high in the draft. I'd much rather take a TE like Tj Hockenson whether it be at pk#9 or trading bk a few selections. TJ is basically a 3 for 1 player as he can be a big part of your passing, rushing & blocking gms. The Bills need difference makers with there high pks in the draft. Olineman seem to always be available via free agency but top talent TEs like Hockenson can only be aquired via the draft. U cant get guys like this in free agency or via trade . I think its a no brainer take the TE and build the oline with mid rd pks that u can develop and free agency. -
