  1. He really doesn't stretch the field that's the prb. That's why they want to trade him.
  2. Just because u have the tools doesn't mean u got the mind to build something off it.
  3. 14 new players might seem like alot but a few of these guys are min deals.
  4. No thanks to Brian ( Maybin) Burns
  5. I watched him play a bunch of times he seems like one of those players that doesn't play as fast as his time is. He doesn't have player speed.
  6. If i was Beane this would be my strategy for the off-season. Free Agency O-Line LT - Ty Neshke 3yrs 20mil RG- DJ Fluker 3yrs 20 mil RT - D Williams 4yrs 45mil C - Mitch Morse yrs 44mil Total spending 35 million per yr This is where I would spend the majority of my budget for this off-season. 2019 Starting 5 LT Neshke LG Dawkins C Morse RG Fluker RT Williams Back ups OG/C Long OG Teller LT Dawkins RT Fluker Usually teams dress 7 lineman on Sunday's in the NFL so my bkup tackles will come from my OGs that have experience at tackle. When we go extra lineman on the field Teller will be the first guy off the bench. I like Tellers run blocking prowess so he would be a good extra lineman when we go heavy. I believe this line has massive flexibility and that was a big key to making these moves. RB Cory Grant 2yrs 3mil CG adds a nice dimension to our bk field he's a Swiss army knife he can return punts, kicks, can catch & run plus he's still young. I also will look to the draft to add another bk. WR Donte Moncreif 3ys 18mil Kevin White 1yr 1.2mil With free Agency not being top heavy at this position. I'm looking for players that can possibly be Hyde/Poyer types for us. I'm not looking to overspend on Tate or Ty Williams there just not worth it. My plan is also to use a couple pks in the draft at this position. My intention here is to get a day 1 starter on the outside like Moncreif . Moncreif is a young player entering his prime and he will buy us time to develop the our rookies while at the same time he can fit into our future plans. Now Kevin White he's just a guy I want to bring in to compete with Zay, Foster, Duke and Mckenzie for playing time. KW is basically a lottery ticket a low risk high reward player. TE Jessie James 4yrs 20mil JJ will give me a player that can fit as a 1 or 2 for us he's a balanced player and with my strategy to go high in the draft at this position he will be a very good complement to a young player needing time to develop. DEFENSE D-Line DT - Grady Jarrett 5yrs 60mil DE - Robert Quinn 2yrs 13mil DT- David Irving 1yr 1.2 mil Grady Jarrett will be my top option on defense. GJ is an absolute beast at 25yrs old and in his prime he can do it all at the 3tech . Not only that but he's a great fit in the process culture wise he will bring leadership qualities with him. Jarrett is also a Patriot killer as he seems to always play his best against them. The additions of Quinn and Irving will give us great depth on the Dline as we know Mcd loves to rotate these guys. David Irving will come cheap but has alot of potential and would be great on passing downs rushing the passer next to Jarrett. With Quinn, Murphy, Shaq, Hughes, H Phillips and Star we will be able to have to rotate at will and attack teams in waves. 2019 DLINE DE Quinn DT Star DT3 Jarrett DE Hughes Bkups Murphy Shaq Phillips LB Dion Jordan 2yrs 5mil . I would sign DJ and put him under Zo tutelage. DJ will be a depth signing that will find his role in Mcd defense as our new Zo . I would also look to the draft in the mid to late rds to add more depth. Secondary SS/ LB - Landon Collins 4yrs 40mil CB - EJ Gaines 2yrs 7mil . Landon Collins can play Rover big safety position. He can be our Shaq Thompson on this defense with 3 safeties on the field at all times. This signing adds some much flexibility to this defense teams won't catch us off guard in the big nickel as we can defend the run and pass with Poyer, Hyde and Landon on the field. EJ Gaines also a great signing for us at a very good price. He can't stay healthy but won't be asked to start in our defense but he gives us a player that can be a great asset if Wallace or Tre go down. EJ is perfect for us because even if Taron Johnson goes down we can move Tre to the slot and not skip a beat because EJ will be on the outside. My plan falls in line with McBeane flexibility philosophy. I realize I spent around 80mil on these players but did so with the mindset that we have 130 mil in 2020 so minus 80 we still have 50 mil for 2020 plus whatever the cap goes up by . Plus I structured most of these deals on short term deals so we have cap flexibility moving forward in 2021 . Now this would be my plan not saying the Bills will do any of this or even half just my dream scenario for our offseason. So hopefully u guys enjoy the rest of my plan and please take it easy on me afterwards. Lol. DRAFT PLAN Trade back collect more pks preferably move bk with a team like the Skins at #15. Add another 2nd and 4th Rd pk . Now it's time to load up on skill position players for the future 1st #15 - WR -DK Metcalf or TJ Hock 2nd #40 - TE Fant or Irv Smith if we take Hock in the first then target WR here maybe Hakeem , Harmon or Marquis Brown. 2nd #47- OG/T Dalton Risner 3rd #75- Wr Andy Isabella 4th - RB Darrell Henderson After these pks we still have 7 more pks left to either trade up the board or stay put and take best players available at any and all positions. With the way we attacked free agency we truly put ourselves in position to stock up the depth of our roster. New depth charts after draft in no particular order. WR Moncrief Foster Zay Isabella Duke Draft pk ( Metcalf, Hakeem, Harmon or Marquis RBS TE McCoy. James Ivory. Draft pk (TJ, Fant,Irv) Henderson. Croom Grant. L Thomas Defense LB. Secondary Edmunds. CB Tre White Milano. CB Wallace Zo. SCB Taron J D Jordan. CB EJ Gaines Landon Collins * FS Poyer SS Hyde L Collins * Rover
  7. These 2 can be excellent value additions. TY Neshke bkup LT from the Skins can also be a good find . He's started a few gms these last 2 yrs and graded out very well. Although he's gonna be 33yrs old doesn't have alot of wear and tear could be another Zo type for us.
  8. Why the negative pov . Haven't u said u trust McBeane to make the right decisions? Plus if we hit on some of these so called overpaid guys u can look at it this way maybe it saves our young core . How u ask well we need to start winning and bring in whoever help us with that because if we don't well then we all seen what happens all to well. People get fired regimes change and with that comes major changes to the roster. Free agency the draft & trade market are all very delicate but necessary parts of team building. McBeane needs to find that balance and bring in the right guys to complement each other. I see it the other way when it comes to O-Lineman buy em in free agency and use mid rds pks to develop them for the future. Just look at this yrs free agency for example spending on the O-line players that are available is better value then the Wrs and TEs.
  9. What matters is the way this organization structures contracts not necessarily how much they pay yearly to individual players.
  10. Nothing has really changed for us free agency will never buy us a trophy and from the looks of it no one else for that matter. Only we should understand that organizationally and take advantage of its uses. Use it to fill in the overall depth of the roster and patch some holes. Our difference makers will come thru the draft. Even if they're was top notch elite players available they most likely wouldn't sign with us anyways. Especially the skill position players those guys never sign with us. Now adding some O-Line and even players on the defensive side of the ball that should be our main focus . Then we can turn our attention to the draft to get the stud, Wrs, TEs and RBs.
  11. Crabtree reminds me of a McBeane type Wr I can see them trying to sign him. Comp pks what's comp pks, lol. Yea we should plan our offseason around a comp pk for Jordan Phillips maybe we can get a 7th for him.
  12. I like Butler but he's not the prospect most here make him out to be. He will go somewhere in the 1st half of the 2nd rd book it. Butler has major issues getting off the jam plus he's a little stiff for the position. U can put up all the highlight reels u want . I remember James Hardy had some ridiculous highlights to coming out of college how did he turn out?
  13. Those were pro bowl caliber guys all of them. Outstanding I'll take outstanding any day. Actually I read that we were 6th in the NFL in separation.
  14. Lets have this draft strategy #1 - trade bk with Washington #15- TJ Hockenson TE #40- Hakeem Butler Wr #47- Dalton Risner O-Line #75- Andy Isabella Wr
  15. Actually if u dig a little deeper the O-line gave Allen plenty of time. Allen took a league highest 3.2 secs to pass the ball per pass. The run blocking was not so good but when Ivory was out there he seemed to fit what they like to do more. What I'm basically saying is yes the O-Line deserves some criticism but the problems are coming from McCoy and Allen also.
  16. I realize Kc got a nice O-line but we never hear about them. What u hear about especially when you talk about Mahomes is his weapons and how he wouldn't be as good without them. We're not getting weapons like Hill or Kelce in free agency but we can buy O-Line and D-Line plus other positions. Let's get some serious help for Allen.
  17. Since 2000 Shannon Sharpe 1, Gronk has 2 , Julius Thomas 1, Jeremy Shockey won 2 , Martellus Bennett 2, Dallas Clark 1 . These guys were all considered elite when they won.
  18. Yup and most elite TEs win multiple Superbowls . I dont know the numbers per say but especially since 2000 there's been more elite TEs winning Superbowls then elite Wrs.
  19. Again do u know Gary has less then 12 sacks in his college career I believe 3 of them last yr. No thanks I don't care what kind of athlete he is he's not a baller. Oliver is a tweener that's exactly what a tweener is to big for DE to small for DT and he's not even in the same neighborhood as Donald. There's a good 20lbs difference there . To me that's just a very lazy comp. What this team lacks is difference makers and total team depth. Most importantly difference makers in skill positions.
  20. Who's the blue chip olineman guys that are projected to be better RT in NFL. The Dline who is the blue chippers u talking about at #9 . Bosa , Allen & Quin Williams will be gone. U want the undersized Oliver he's not gonna be in longterm he's a tweener at DT how much of these guys pan out. Other then John Randle I can't think of much. JR was a late rd pk to for that reason. Ideally I would love if the Bills trade bk and still get Hock or DK that would be amazing but if we can't I still think u take one of them at #9. These guys have just as much potential and even more then those lineman on both sides of the ball. Plus we get the difference maker skill talent that we desperately need.
  21. DTs are overrated in my opinion none of them have production to match there draft stock. BTW u get your rankings probably from some mock drafts but these mocks are never right. It's like taking lottery numbers from a fortune cookie. ?
  22. I didn't say spend all our cap this yr but it wouldn't be crazy to say spend 50% of what we have. Even if we did spend more then that it will be because we have the luxury of front loading the players deal which will open up more cap space next yr and beyond.
  23. #1 TJ Hockenson or DK will fit both I believe they fit need and Bpa #2 U can argue all u want but u can't argue the fact that if the draft has redo it never comes out the same. So that throws your reaching method out the window. Teams have drafted with your train of thought for yrs no wonder why gms get fired constantly.
  24. This is one of the most over-rated quotes leading into drafts about reaching. If u identify a player that u believe will be good to great as a pro it doesn't matter where u take him. We've seen to many guys bust at every spot in the first rd at every position. With that being said take the guy u want and live with the results regardless of where u take him because at the end of the day if u redo the draft from previous yrs it will never come out the same way. Guys that went into the late rds or even u drafted will be first rd pks.
  25. Free agency and the draft are coming soon and the Bills need to invest in the biggest investment by far Josh Allen. I think we can all agree here that as Allen goes so goes the Bills . McBeane can not afford a 2019 season where Allen takes steps back. If this offense does not get much better in 2019 the process can be looking for work elsewhere . McBeane needs to know this and put major assets into a offense that doesn't have any difference maker talents other then the QB. Now I realize the first rd is not plush with elite talents but there is 2 players I believe that fit the Bill. #1 TJ Hockenson - TJ is cut in the mold of the great TEs in this league he is a true blue chip propect at his position. He can do it all and is as safe as pk as it comes in this draft. #2 DK Metcalf- DK is a Calvin Johnson clone in many ways he's big strong & fast. I like this comparison because just like Megatron DK wasn't asked to do much in college as far as running routes and being used heavily in the passing gms . They are both raw prospects that will be drafted based on there projections on the NFL level. McBeane needs to add 1 of these 2 players in the first whether it's at pk #9 or via a trade back into the teens. How else will we get a blue chip talent this offense desperately needs . Free agency is full of complementary players not stars and we are not trading for Antonio Brown or OBJ. The off-season needs to be centered around the possibility of drafting 1 of these 2 possible future NFL stars. With that being said I won't stop there if we take Hock in the 1st the plan in the 2nd should be to get a Wr and at #40 there should be some really good prospects available. The same should be said for if we take DK first then the 2nd pk should go to TE. Maybe we trade up to get Fant in early 2nd or late first. Basically our first 2 pks should be a combination of these 2 positions. No matter who we take in first 2 rds I will take Andy Isabella in the 3rd this kid will be a star slot Wr for yrs to come. After these 3 pks get your running back of the future in the 4th and in the rest of the draft take best player available at any positions . We will have 6pks left to add to the depth of this team. McBeane can't let a position of need get in the way of acquiring a blue chip player at the skill positions. We can't let a need at RT or DT be the reason we skip on these guys. If we do go in another direction I will lose faith in this regime as they will prove to be no different then the men that ran this team before them. Free Agency In free agency McBeane should do his best to fix the Oline even if it means overspending to do it. Go after Trent Brown, D Williams and Morse we won't get them all but we should try. If we can't get those guys go after whoever is left at the Oline there's plenty of starting caliber players available we should be able to put together a solid line for 2019 season and beyond. At Wr don't spend big but we should add 1 guy John Brown that can lead this group until the rookies are ready to produce. Also sign a #2 TE that can block and catch preferably Jessie James . This is the type of offseason Allen needs to be given a chance to succeed where most of our assets will be set towards his growth. On defense we should use the mid rds to touch up and maybe 1 big signing in free agency like Sheldon Richardson or Grady Jarrett. Otherwise sign 2nd tier depth players like EJ Gaines at CB he will come cheap and had shown to flourish in Mcd defense.
