  1. I like your well-reasoned and thought out oneupmanship here!
  2. Did a cursory search and didn’t see the obligatory “predict” thread up yet, so here goes…the Bills will hang a 50-burger on the Fish, and all will be right with the world again after Josh and Co. take out their Week 1 frustrations in Miami. What say you? Bills 51-17.
  3. Sure, make it a combo, large fries please
  4. Misery loves company however, so I do find some of the posting to be cathartic, and laugh at some of the more ridiculous takes—that said, definitely a better place to be overall after a W. Doesn’t mean I still don’t log in daily either way!
  5. That’s just veteran leadership right there, way to block out and give your QB a solid target!
  6. And we worry about too much overreaction on our own TBD after one L? 🧐 National surface level media show us how it’s done!
  7. I knew going with the Josh Allen T-shirt instead of actual jersey was asking for trouble, but I figured we were still a lock despite my wardrobe choices. Miami won’t know what hit em after all of us correct our week 1 snafus…
  8. There’s even a hype video!
  9. @BringBackFergy, @Johnnycage46There’s something called a pineapple casserole from the kitchen of Paula Deen that includes a heavy dose of cheddar cheese in a pie type mixture that my wife has to have at every holiday meal of any kind, and it’s really quite good! https://www.pauladeen.com/recipe/pineapple-casserole/
  10. Conversely, he’s been normally so solid throughout the games that the need for dramatics with large comeback margins at the end not as prevalent? That should count for something too—a team that doesn’t let huge holes be dug in the 1st place?
  11. Ok, I'll play along. OP, wouldn't an out of nowhere SB win feel almost even more fulfilling as your expectations at some point reasonably during the season, at least presumably, would have been tempered to expect nothing special for the season's outcome?
  12. Parrino/Talbot in their last podcast before Labor Day referenced this very point, to say that this regime values sure handed open field tackling/immediate wrap up after catch above a straight line speed metric. If only we could have both?
  13. I followed the TC reports pretty closely and can honestly not recall any inappropriate “clips of Josh ***** around all practice throughout”; if anything, it was mostly observers amazed at the # of throws being completed without the ball hitting the ground IIRC. Also in his lone preseason appearance he balled out. Point being, it’s a bridge too far to argue with a straight face that Josh’s off-season prep was not up to par. If you’re saying adding some levity here or there during the interminable dog days of Camp somehow took away from his focus, then in the words of General McAuliffe, “Nuts!”
  14. Belichick scribbling notes as we speak. In a copycat league this is the kind of stuff that needs to be cleaned up no doubt. But during the Bills TD drive in particular it seemed like we had the Steelers on their heels with the pace of play call and forcing them to play out of their rhythm—included the 12 man penalty on that drive IIRC?
  15. It sure seemed like turn style “lookout” type blocking from the interior OL was an issue most of the day, but when the all-22 comes out will know for sure. Talbot lumps them all in the pot so to speak: https://www.syracuse.com/buffalo-bills/2021/09/josh-allen-bills-stumble-in-week-1-loss-to-steelers-6-reasons-to-be-encouraged-7-reasons-to-be-worried.html
  16. Agree with this overall although Levi & Josh will have a bounce back game IMO this week. Our Oline struggles to the extent they happened today was surprising. Better fix that as priority 1 this week. Sit Feliciano?
  17. My thoughts exactly—the amount of fawning off-season national press coverage was something new for us, and they may have overlooked the Steelers accordingly? I know I did, I blew up in Doc’s survivor pool already with the Bills. 😓
  18. Wood on the radio call said it was a situation of the Bills (Dabs) getting too cute for the situation and trying to hit a home run if it works, but of course quick pressure on the play meant that instead of a pitch, forced a throw and the rest speaks for itself…
  19. Best wishes SDS, and thanks for creating a safe space to let Bills fandom run roughshod!!
