Anything you look back on fondly that hasn’t aged well?
NoHuddleKelly12 replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall
As a 1st grader experimenting with new sandwich creations, I came up with butter, peanut butter and honey, in that order. It’s been a few years but I’m reasonably sure I couldn’t handle that today, no matter how great that was at the time . -
A Few Thoughts....Intro [LAMP]
NoHuddleKelly12 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks OP, keep up the good work! “Thoughts” (along with Shaw) are a must-read for me after each game. Can’t remember which week last year it was that you were a tad “late” in posting, and the meltdowns (myself included) were palpable here! -
Just remember as you’re readying your slings and arrows for dancing on Tebow’s vacated roster spot, one Kelvin Benjamin was also on an NFL roster to start this TC year, and was let go for allegedly non-football related reasons. Bonus: isn’t Nate Peterman still in the NFL too? I for one applaud Tebow’s effort, he’s a good dude on and off the field.

In! Doing my part. Are there any ration books or war bonds up for purchase to help us subsidize Beane’s tire kicking getting r dunn on Dunn tires, “it’s a dunn deal?” for this?

Brandon Beane on Pat Mcafee show
NoHuddleKelly12 replied to 17islongenough's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Also liked how Beane described his mindset of never resting on the roster, saying to the effect that when people tune out of preseason games in the 3rd-4th quarters, he’s tuning in to see how their 5th or 6th option at linebacker for example stacks up to our own 5th or 6th deep, and would they be better or not, or a ST ace, etc., so constantly looking for even incremental improvement anywhere possible. -

“No one talks about how cold it is to play in Green Bay, and they didn’t say it about Buffalo when Jim Kelly was here—having a franchise QB makes your team attractive to FA’s…” Bingo. -
McBeane let one get away!!! How could they!!!!

Tasker & Brown don't know the cap rules
NoHuddleKelly12 replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I say give me all the Bills propaganda and banter you got! As an out of towner constantly jonesing for my Bills audio fixes whilst sitting in Atlanta traffic, you can do a lot worse than streaming OBL, imho. And how soon so many of you apparently forgot one John Murphy who was constantly berated on these boards as a terrible radio guy, and CB when guesting usually got better reviews than Murph. I know what I’m getting when I listen, and am perfectly content with it, as it’s nonstop positive Bills talk! -

Apologies if posted upthread, but it looks like Rosen is well on his way to washing out of yet another opportunity… https://www.49erswebzone.com/articles/148828-49ers-rosen-taken-couple-steps-practice-according-shanahan/ -
Say what you will, CB 2 was never a glaring weakness on this team since Levi’s been here, imho.

Why Josh Allen is not a "one hit wonder"
NoHuddleKelly12 replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks OP, this should be required reading for all of the national media types you referenced—it would be a helpful cheat sheet for their hot takes! -
When Allen’s grandma passed away who he was very close with, I remember Daboll & Allen sharing a very genuine moment after he went off against the Seahawks…here’s an article with this along with some other nuggets: https://www.sportscasting.com/brian-daboll-had-a-touching-embrace-with-josh-allen-after-the-tragic-death-of-his-grandmother/ “Yes, he wants his players to be tough out on the field, but he also wants them to know that it’s OK to be a human being with real emotions. When Josh Allen lost his grandmother, he credited Daboll with giving him a safe space to let out his feelings in an embrace after his first game since her death.”

How many people don't like Allen's new deal?
