  1. “No one talks about how cold it is to play in Green Bay, and they didn’t say it about Buffalo when Jim Kelly was here—having a franchise QB makes your team attractive to FA’s…” Bingo.
  2. I say give me all the Bills propaganda and banter you got! As an out of towner constantly jonesing for my Bills audio fixes whilst sitting in Atlanta traffic, you can do a lot worse than streaming OBL, imho. And how soon so many of you apparently forgot one John Murphy who was constantly berated on these boards as a terrible radio guy, and CB when guesting usually got better reviews than Murph. I know what I’m getting when I listen, and am perfectly content with it, as it’s nonstop positive Bills talk!
  3. Apologies if posted upthread, but it looks like Rosen is well on his way to washing out of yet another opportunity… https://www.49erswebzone.com/articles/148828-49ers-rosen-taken-couple-steps-practice-according-shanahan/
  4. Say what you will, CB 2 was never a glaring weakness on this team since Levi’s been here, imho.
  5. Thanks OP, this should be required reading for all of the national media types you referenced—it would be a helpful cheat sheet for their hot takes!
  6. When Allen’s grandma passed away who he was very close with, I remember Daboll & Allen sharing a very genuine moment after he went off against the Seahawks…here’s an article with this along with some other nuggets: https://www.sportscasting.com/brian-daboll-had-a-touching-embrace-with-josh-allen-after-the-tragic-death-of-his-grandmother/ “Yes, he wants his players to be tough out on the field, but he also wants them to know that it’s OK to be a human being with real emotions. When Josh Allen lost his grandmother, he credited Daboll with giving him a safe space to let out his feelings in an embrace after his first game since her death.”

  8. Time to saddle up and purchase your Allen jerseys in case you’ve been holding out!
  9. Talk about me helping the Jets dodge a bullet! You’re welcome Mr. Johnson, that you never had to worry about the possibility of paying that kind of money to Sam!
  10. Training camp goggles. Right now even this guy would look like a world-beater if throwing shoulder to shoulder with Cam…
  11. I do recall several claims about the “quality” of the Jests FO and HC a couple years running …
  12. I noticed that Dunn Tire was already a Bills sponsor back then too—that’s an impressive run for them
  13. This was a very cool find OP! Really enjoyed that blast from the past—echoing others upthread, where did all the time go??
  14. Bills: -Allen will throw for over 400 yds/game not less than 6 times; -The Bills will lead the AFC in total sacks; NFL: -Davis Mills will start at least 8 games for the Texans; -Fitzy will make the playoffs this year, starter or not.
  15. I have some family that recently moved to the KC area this year, and am seriously toying with the idea of going out there for a visit and the game—I know it would be epic to see the Bills win there .
  16. Happy birthday coach!!! It was also nice to see McD giving Marv a birthday shoutout (including the nugget of them both being William & Mary alums—serendipity!) at the top of his presser.
  17. Sal made a point on WGR segment with Bulldog this afternoon, that the D looked awfully quick to be handsy and physical with the WR’s, and that likely when the Bills bring in refs later this month there will be a lot of holding calls if that keeps up.
  18. Couldn’t agree more! Also try the same thing for SB XXVII, 1st quarter. Some of the best SB performance the Bills ever showed! We had it all, high energy, blocked punts, touchdown, kicking game, a passing attack, and defensive stops! Based on that, it’s almost impossible for the game to have turned the way it did—seriously, watch just the 1st quarter on YouTube and tell me I’m wrong.
  19. Throw in some roadway upgrades/expansion within several miles of OP, maybe a new flyover ramp or 2, to go along with some new pedestrian friendly covered walkways, and voila! Killed 2 birds with 1 stone—there’s some “shovel-ready infrastructure” upgrades cover while the bacon gets funneled into the stadium foundation pour?
  20. Day 4 for Parrino & Talbot…sorry am posting this so late in the day. Quick Hits: -Kumerow is the complete package, sneaky fast off the line, can see why Aaron Rodgers hated to see him go. Potential knock is his age for a #6 WR at age 29, but they think is non-issue. Can’t sneak him onto the practice squad this year. -Fans: felt like a game day environment. Pretty serious wave—in midseason form! Players were blown away by how many fans showed up for a practice! Dane Jackson shocked they knew who he was lol. -Rousseau on track to put up a fight for a starting job opposite Hughes—into the 4th day still getting 1st team reps—good sign. -Efe Obada continuing his showcase off the outside and has good inside moves as well. Basham predominantly on the 2nd team, and was ok today, nothing jumped out. —Hart at tackle is what he is, more down than up, roster spot not secure by any means. -Harrison Phillips is looking huge, settling into 1tech role, was 2nd team today. There’s more, but those were the main ones.
  21. ^^^You’re officially unmasked as a Bills fan .
  22. Day 3 camp observations from Parrino & Talbot; I posted Day 2 yesterday and really like these guys, solid takes imho. Quick hits: -Efe a people mover, great power moves shown today, and what a back story on this guy; -Cody interview; has quickness, had an “unbelievable” play against Oliver, driving Ed into the turf; -Rousseau; can’t ignore that for a guy with so many question marks coming in, is performing so much better than could have been expected…again against Daryl Williams, a face plant; -takeaways from the RB’s, they’re ready to go, get the pads on, all flashes at least once, and Antonio Williams is legit; -Secondary: maturity of Levi Wallace, impressed even the Dane Jackson fanboy Parrino—has done a great job learning from Tre, and has learned how to be a better off coverage CB. He’s not a sports car, he’s the family van, solid, dependable…you can do a lot worse than Levi at this position; -Tre, good pass breakup against Sanders today. -Trubisky as trade bait given QB injuries across the league—but he came here for a reason and the Bills also need him desperately for insurance when making a SB run; -OL “guardian caps”—our boy Kelso involved in that company at one time! -TE a position the Bills still not happy with. New signing of Howard today (played with Trubisky at UNC), Parrino doesn’t expect much from him though. But, also we have the luxury of strong receivers so Bills offense doesn’t need elite production from the position… There’s more, worth a watch!
