  1. I was going to go with the newly traditional toast of, may their fields lay fallow for a thousand seasons, but in this case, may their aquarium be fouled with oil for as long as they killed us in the 70’s? 🤔
  2. And I'm still waiting for this to come back into stock!
  3. I'm also kinda curious to know how much additional stackin' this gig will provide for ML?
  4. Seems like a perfect fit! https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/10/05/nflpa-names-marshawn-lynch-chief-brand-ambassador/ “I’m always tryin’ to make the most out’ta my time and opportunities. Ya’ feel me? If you make it through pee wee, high school, college and you’re lucky enough to call yourself an NFL player, you’re in a situation to create and take part in hella opportunities, but you have to understand that you only get a little bit of time in that uni’, so you gotta max it out and put yourself in a position to make plays on and off the turf,” Lynch said in a statement. “By partnering with the NFLPA and working with De Smith, I can share my path, pass down what I’ve been through and seen, so players can see what’s really out there for them and tap in to all the resources their teams, communities and the PA have available. I wanna put them in positions to be successful in every facet of their lives from building businesses based on their passions to of course takin’ care of their mentals and stackin’ their chicken.”
  5. Collinsworth the other night legit tried to make it sound like Mac Jones was the beneficiary of "Quarterback U" type NFL prep coaching under Saban at Alabammie--like they're known for being some kind of a QB factory?? (AJ McCarron sheepishly raises his hand when asked who'd been released from the Bills to make room for Peterman in the QB room)
  6. Urban taking some pages out of Bobby Petrino's playbook?
  7. Thanks for the report OP; did you feel like it was more of a vision issue for Allen missing some deep looks, such as the Sanders examples, timing of the line protection, or just plain indecision on his part in trying to avoid additional potential turnovers? The silver lining would be there’s still significant room for upwards improvement in our pass game, which should make the rest of the league shudder… Also, this is the quote of the year right here: “Oliver shed his block and destroyed the halfback in the backfield so quick that even his momentum ran away scared.”
  8. The happiest guy today that 'lil Steve took the GIF heat off of him...
  9. @PatsFanNH, I will say I was more impressed than I expected I would be with Jones' composure and handling of a pressure packed moment against his predecessor--he also delivered some good throws along the way, no question. However, playing in the same division as Allen will be hard to ever overcome with regularity, as I think Allen will maintain a higher overall performance ceiling. I know it's early, but unless Mac turns into Brady...
  10. So time for a bump on this one...as I stand corrected: https://www.cnn.com/2021/10/04/entertainment/william-shatner-blue-origin-space-mission/index.html
  11. Given the whole shift league-wide to favoring scoring offenses vis a vis rules changes through the years and penalty points of emphasis (easy DPI's, roughing passer, etc.), makes this even more impressive than the other teams mentioned, imho...
  12. Yet in previous years/regimes we've consistently struggled to convincingly beat the garbage teams we're supposed to, so it's nice to see us actually do what we're supposed to, and then some (minus only the Pittsburgh opener). Now hopefully we are also ready to smack KC in the mouth and never look back!
  13. I couldn't help but think every time Brady rolled right or otherwise threw a fluttering pass while on the run, about how much better Josh looks in the same spots, throwing with authority and accuracy...yes, Brady did complete a few of those, but that was never a given during the night (I get that the rain also didn't help).
  14. I appreciate your sober take/analysis of the Chiefs going into this game, and gives fans like me some "inside" perspective for things to specifically watch for from the other side. I think the Bills' main issue (besides getting a stop or 2 on D), is getting out of their own heads and having the right mental focus & avoid the "here we go again" mindset if they have a negative play--if they can do that, the game's then there for the taking.
  15. Say what you will, but McDonalds coffee is shockingly excellent!
  16. Josh going all “humble and hungry” process right there! 🤠
  17. That would prolly force the NFL to reimpose the crowd noise unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on the 12th man—remember that ‘90 Elway comeback fumble game where we scored like 3 x in 77 seconds? The crowd was a huge factor in that game.
  18. It takes a lot of effort/energy to maintain close friendships, and the older I get the more I’m focused on my immediate family/kids which doesn’t leave much for anyone else—it’s actually easier keeping up with you all on this board than folks IRL from years ago 😁, plus I never bothered to set up FB & the like. I stay in touch with a handful of friends from college now and then, that’s about it.
  19. Mr. Ed—groundbreaking species crossover sitcom comedy!
  20. Hey, I’m 43 and can still beat my 8 yr old in any tag type games—so yah, life is good
  21. “Kelly 12 Tough” for life!! Love you big guy, and yes, he’s looking great for everything he’s been through lately!
  22. That immediately reminded me of the classic Chris Farley SNL gem...
