  1. Good stuff OP!!! Agree with most of your points, especially: “I also believe in trusting you talent and going for it. Yes, the Chiefs can be scary on offense and score at any time, but so can we! Stop trying to pre-counter them before the game stops, punch them in the mouth, and show them Bills football!”
  2. 37-35 Bills W on last second FG from 47 yards out, Bass is $$ again.
  3. Waddya expect from a franchise that forces its players to take on double duty as the camera crew?
  4. I used to rewatch the Super Bowls on VHS as a kid—I got steeped in my Bills PTSD honest.
  5. Paging @dollars 2 donuts, where you at in here?
  6. Or Bobby Petrino, who pulled a 'Vontae' in season as the Falcons HC... "On December 10, 2007, with the Falcons at the bottom of the NFC South with a 3–10 record, Petrino resigned to become head coach at Arkansas, less than 24 hours after personally promising owner Arthur Blank that he was staying in Atlanta before promptly quitting the team that evening. Petrino informed his players of his departure via a four-sentence laminated note left at the locker of each player, a move that many in the organization and in the NFL harshly criticized" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobby_Petrino#Atlanta_Falcons Git r done Jags!
  7. Giving the Chiefs back some of their own unstoppable TE medicine would be sweet indeed!!
  8. Did Khan really expect to get Jimmy Johnson out of this hire? The track record remains relatively spotty for long time college guys slotting into NFL HC gigs, and nothing about Urban's past including some well publicized off-field issues with his programs should've given the Jags much confidence going in, imho. But perhaps Lane Kiffin is available for another NFL spin?
  9. To @MAJBobby’s point, Kraft did help fund TB12’s operations like it or not. Now was all that $$ paid with the purest of intentions & a contractual fair market level of return consideration (arm’s length)? That’s above my pay grade to say one way or the other, but you can’t just unilaterally claim there was never any smoke to see here, imho.
  10. It’s maybe a bit more complicated? https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/report-patriots-pay-a-brady-owned-company-run-by-suspect-partner/
  11. I was going to go with the newly traditional toast of, may their fields lay fallow for a thousand seasons, but in this case, may their aquarium be fouled with oil for as long as they killed us in the 70’s? 🤔
  12. And I'm still waiting for this to come back into stock!
  13. I'm also kinda curious to know how much additional stackin' this gig will provide for ML?
  14. Seems like a perfect fit! https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/10/05/nflpa-names-marshawn-lynch-chief-brand-ambassador/ “I’m always tryin’ to make the most out’ta my time and opportunities. Ya’ feel me? If you make it through pee wee, high school, college and you’re lucky enough to call yourself an NFL player, you’re in a situation to create and take part in hella opportunities, but you have to understand that you only get a little bit of time in that uni’, so you gotta max it out and put yourself in a position to make plays on and off the turf,” Lynch said in a statement. “By partnering with the NFLPA and working with De Smith, I can share my path, pass down what I’ve been through and seen, so players can see what’s really out there for them and tap in to all the resources their teams, communities and the PA have available. I wanna put them in positions to be successful in every facet of their lives from building businesses based on their passions to of course takin’ care of their mentals and stackin’ their chicken.”
  15. Collinsworth the other night legit tried to make it sound like Mac Jones was the beneficiary of "Quarterback U" type NFL prep coaching under Saban at Alabammie--like they're known for being some kind of a QB factory?? (AJ McCarron sheepishly raises his hand when asked who'd been released from the Bills to make room for Peterman in the QB room)
  16. Urban taking some pages out of Bobby Petrino's playbook?
  17. Thanks for the report OP; did you feel like it was more of a vision issue for Allen missing some deep looks, such as the Sanders examples, timing of the line protection, or just plain indecision on his part in trying to avoid additional potential turnovers? The silver lining would be there’s still significant room for upwards improvement in our pass game, which should make the rest of the league shudder… Also, this is the quote of the year right here: “Oliver shed his block and destroyed the halfback in the backfield so quick that even his momentum ran away scared.”
  18. The happiest guy today that 'lil Steve took the GIF heat off of him...
  19. @PatsFanNH, I will say I was more impressed than I expected I would be with Jones' composure and handling of a pressure packed moment against his predecessor--he also delivered some good throws along the way, no question. However, playing in the same division as Allen will be hard to ever overcome with regularity, as I think Allen will maintain a higher overall performance ceiling. I know it's early, but unless Mac turns into Brady...
  20. So time for a bump on this one...as I stand corrected: https://www.cnn.com/2021/10/04/entertainment/william-shatner-blue-origin-space-mission/index.html
  21. Given the whole shift league-wide to favoring scoring offenses vis a vis rules changes through the years and penalty points of emphasis (easy DPI's, roughing passer, etc.), makes this even more impressive than the other teams mentioned, imho...
