  1. "Not sure what the previous person commenting about the smell is talking about. The food is simply spectacular, there are no words to describe it, other than, you should stop by and order an appetizer and a dessert too! Well worth the upcharges for the views."
  2. Would definitely recommend checking out some of the NFL Films yearbook videos for the early 90's teams--will leave you with a greater appreciation for what they were able to do and how they made Rich Stadium basically an impossible place for other teams to play at, especially when the weather got bad--the Miami playoff games at home are the most fun to watch, imho.
  3. Big Ben will be motivated to make good on getting an unexpected opportunity to erase the arguably worst game played all year, and I’m sure the team will similarly want to rally around that—so yeah, in a league where the worst and the best are separated by just a few plays per game, I like the Steelers to surprise a few people.
  4. Yup—JK won his regional Punt Pass & Kick competitions growing up so I’m sure there’s some muscle memory there!
  5. Picked the Pats to really rub their noses in it, but let’s face it, this time of year in the playoffs it’s always a tough out, and we’ll have truly earned our trip to the Bowl no matter who we play!
  6. Great post OP; this style of running immediately brought me back to the heady days of Thurm and Davis running roughshod with counters seemingly at will, very similar concepts. And that was without a running threat at QB!
  7. Quinn, without looking it up I thought Josh hurt his elbow in the pocket against Houston in his rookie year 2018 after completing a deep pass IIRC… [Edit: yes that was in the pocket https://amp.democratandchronicle.com/amp/1642420002 ]
  8. RIP Coach, very sad news—a good guy.
  9. Do we know who’s starting this week yet on the Oline? Or is this thread just getting a good head start? 🧐
  10. How bout a good one instead —we are fielding the first QB in NFL history to throw for over 100 TD’s and run for more than 20 in his first 4 yrs…and it’s not over yet! https://www.wivb.com/sports/josh-allens-jersey-cleats-from-week-16-added-to-pro-football-hof/amp/
  11. The tweeted Pats caller blurb in the middle of the article is priceless…
  12. LOL, the “Galleria” can apply to multiple cities, as well as the shenanigans…actually that’s not a LOL .
  13. To your point specifically about Christmas during The Battle of the Bulge, I came across this article concerning the experiences of a then-12 yr old boy and his mother who sheltered soldiers from both sides on Christmas Eve in a remarkable moment: https://www.abmc.gov/news-events/news/christmas-eve-1944-brief-moment-peace-battlefield
  14. Once again the sage voice of reason around here—please don’t ever leave us!
  15. Muppy, that is too funny, one of my work buddies bought me the exact same Buffalo table dive shirt! The other awesome piece I got was Nike Bills shoes—wifey got them on EBay—my new fav kicks!!
  16. Heard the same thing as I did my normal WGR stream for my commute, and they also mentioned the lack of halftime adjustments BB made, to still dare Josh to beat them… Lol, I thought it was more like envious longing, like coveting his neighbor’s new ‘Vette…sorry Bill, maybe it’ll be a blizzard the next time you play, and you can scheme another game plan to hide your own QB
  17. Don’t forget the Knox TD that was called back for ineligible man downfield, where they wound up with a FG; they really might have together with the other slight misses, hung a 50 burger on these Pats—still overall a welcome return of what we knew these guys are capable of!
  18. Who’s to say his benching isn’t what gave him a wake up call and made him go out and produce culminating in what we saw today?
  19. This is trolling 101.
  20. Hope you all had a great Christmas
  21. I’m a big history buff, in particular for both world wars, and some years ago came across this true story about a miraculous episode of humanity that happened in the middle of the killing fields that was 1914 Europe on the Western Front…the miracle of Christmas touched soldiers on all sides for a brief moment in the midst of despair…may you all have a blessed and Merry Christmas today, and all the best for the coming year! https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/retropolis/wp/2017/12/24/the-christmas-truce-miracle-soldiers-put-down-their-guns-to-sing-carols-and-drink-wine/
  22. Sorry to hear Mike—we have an 11 yr old tabby named Sam, who’s been diagnosed for about 6 mos now. We get our insulin from our vet, it costs about 60 bucks for a 3-4 month supply (depends on his sugar levels and changing dosages); we recently had to up his dosage to 2.5 mls 2x/day as he started to lose a lot of weight and it wasn’t being managed well on half that. We’ve found that a good sign to tell that something’s up is when his water usage increases a lot and his pee becomes “sticky” in his litter box. Hope you guys are able to manage good 👍🏻!
