  1. Yep, our boy Kelly was the right man at the right time for a franchise mired in back to back 2-14 campaigns and desperate for someone who wouldn’t let that faze him—Elway and Marino’s kryptonite to boot! We needed some swagger going into the late 80’s and beyond .
  2. I’d pretty much resigned myself to the fact that Jim Kelly was our one and only Buffalo “unicorn” (in my own lifetime of fandom) perfectly blending the intangible qualities we wanted in our QB and as a blue collar roots type representative of the franchise…I’m grateful to have seen Josh come along and be able to really appreciate the trajectory we are all on now. By the time he’s done, not only will he go down as the greatest Bill in franchise history, but very possibly be in the NFL running as well.
  3. Von strikes me as a really genuine heart on his sleeve type of guy, and I don’t doubt for a NY minute that he will gel nicely with this team and quickly assume a leadership role organically in the locker room. Now this is the type of off-season winning that actually matters!
  4. I get the SB or bust line of thinking, I really do. But to characterize McD as not having produced enough to keep his seat ‘cool’ would be an oversimplification imho. But I’m still looking at it from the relative standpoint of the bitter drought era, so…
  5. Thanks for the work OP, enjoyed the read, very informative.
  6. Happy Easter TBD, hope you are also able to spend it in the company of loved ones and be present in the moment!
  7. Pass Interference, half the distance to the goal, first dowwwwwwwwwnnnnnn…. Or was it, roughing the passer, Number 55, Defense. Automatic first dowwwwwwwwwwnnnnnn…New England
  8. “We’re going to build a bully.” —Rex ”blue collar hard hat brings his lunch pail to work everyday…” https://syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/1573958-the-anatomy-of-a-blue-collar-nfl-player.amp.html But the best has to be one word, “Playoffs?” By Jim Mora.
  9. Good call OP. Lots of things in life become better with a simple change of perspective…instead of waking up thinking I have to [insert unloved task here], think I get to…just like we get to root for our Bills, even tho we have to still root for them when they’re bad…also, our many years of disappointment make the good times all the more poignant.
  10. The lack of intellectual curiosity that can be found in the ranks of sports talk “analysts” is rather breathtaking. Keyshawn is Exhibit A today.
  11. Super Bowl derailment ahead!!
  12. I love that the length of this thread is giving anything Ertz a run for the money! 🤗
  13. Hug your loved ones a little closer today, none of us know when it’s our time, nothing is guaranteed in this world…am very sad for those he leaves behind.
  14. Only the highest paid Wr/QB tandem until the next tandem finishes signing!
  15. Couldn’t be happier with our FO’s clear commitment to winning and rewarding those players most instrumental in that culture build!
  16. Rosen should be very familiar by now with breaking down his throwing mechanics…why not teach others the same things coaches are trying to pour into him? You know what they say about those that can’t…
  17. On brand. How nice it feels not to be embarrassed of the team I love or its ownership…
  18. This guy felt the same way in the 70’s!
  19. I’m in my early 40’s and got hooked on the Bills by way of growing up right by Jim Kelly’s hometown (East Brady) in western PA; that was right on the eve of the SB run starting, and their successes definitely helped fuel my early fandom at the start. But once you’re in, if you’re a real fan, then even a drought of 17 years can’t take it out of ya…
