  1. Well mystery solved given Josh’s interview today posted above—I wonder if BB has ever done this for any other QB? Pretty cool overall in the moment when it’s all said and done. imho.
  2. Great observations OP; I’d also just like to add that I’ve always been impressed with the sheer length of time Allen is able to keep the fake in place at the RB’s bread basket level, while Allen is reading his keys/selling the fake—it forces the D to commit one way or the other, and gives Allen another split second lead time in letting the pass routes develop. It’s another small but vital detail imho. As a former wannabe QB in an earlier life, I can attest firsthand on the coaching points of emphasis involved with play action, and actually giving it sufficient time in the RB’s (almost) grasp is easier said than done, but Allen has excelled at it.
  3. Glad to see the blue pants were banished for this playoff rematch!
  4. MNF, 1993, Bills at 3 Rivers Stadium--some drunk slob Steeler fans after the game in the concourse sucker punched my buddy (who was wearing Steelers gear) from behind and shoved me into a railing all while stealing my prized Bills hat before we knew what hit us--we were just 15 yr old kids! Security was shoving pastries and pierogies into their mouths somewhere far far away from the scene (I think). So I guess that's not really the definition of a "fight" then, is it?
  5. You could’ve ended your column right there!
  6. Nothing too savory going on here... https://ftw.usatoday.com/lists/patriots-bills-bill-belichick-ripped-for-postgame-handshake I hope so. Maybe there's some hope for him after all.
  7. She never said this photo was taken during the game, did she? She said it was shared during the game.
  8. I agree I think based on comments he's dropped along the way and even his postgame interactions suggest he greatly covets Allen and what he brings to the QB table as unique. As to McD, that seems to be a bit more on the frosty side though?
  9. Heard Sal with Howard and Jeremy this morning talk about this on WGR, but Sal was unaware as to any details and haven't seen this pop up anywhere else--was wondering if anyone knows more, or have any guesses as to what was said/may have happened with a Belichick visit to the Bills locker room after this historic game? https://nesn.com/2022/01/bill-belichick-visited-bills-locker-room-after-patriots-playoff-loss/
  10. Got a real kick out of this--I firmly believe it's the little things like this that help build the mutual trust and relationships between these guys which will help get us over the hump and into the Super Bowl this year...
  11. We need him too much on offense now! Wouldn’t want to lose that speed complement we’ve used to such devastating effect the last couple games…
  12. Semi-serious: could Josh just call all his own plays? 🤔 At this point I’d trust him as much as Kelly to do so…
  13. He’s a chameleon—that’s why I posted it, he couldn’t be more glowing about the Bills if he tried!
  14. This is all I've found so far...quite a tonal change imho https://www.niagara-gazette.com/sports/buffalo_bills/sullivan-bills-celebrate-real-home-playoff-game-with-near-perfect-performance/article_a5d46d3c-059f-5e40-9b5f-27fd63be4119.html
  15. I do appreciate fans of other teams who can come here and respectfully be a part of the "process" of what makes this site go 'round, OP included. One of my nieces just married a good guy from Missouri who's a huge Chefs fan, and we've enjoyed the back & forth good natured banter over the past year, which includes respectful days of texting silence after losses, lol. But at the end of the day, I really hope the Bills show no quarter in this one and roll on to the AFCCG in as convincing a fashion as this past week...I'll give my nephew in law at least a week before I'll text him after this one then.
  16. Awesome find OP .
  17. Bills 38, Chefs 34...late Poyer pick to seal the deal as the Chiefs can't force OT with just a FG...
  18. Bump to highlight the fact that Kelly came out rocking Allen's jersey--could've worn his own jersey and no one would've begrudged him that or prolly thought 2x about it--instead, a class act by a class guy who's been happy to hand off the baton to someone who's well on his way to earning the title of best QB in Bills history! (Same for Thurm with Singletary's jersey, although it's less likely Thurm's perch at the top would ever be upset by any RB's in this pass-happiest O.)
  19. Shaw, this is the best one ever written by you, nay, it bests basically everything I’ve read written about this game, as you’ve encapsulated the feelings and context of this game and why beyond the numbers it meant what it did…for fans who’ve bookended the 90’s run through the whole of the drought, thank you!
  20. Beating Brady in the game he pretty much has owned, would be a fitting bookend to smashing his old coach for all those years right out of the playoffs…however, had the Cowboys won today, that would’ve been my #2 for obvious 90’s reasons…now my #2 is who cares, let’s just win the thing!
  21. I could get used to wallowing in fawning media coverage. Hopefully the team, specifically Josh, does not. Great stuff OP!!
  22. I’m on the record if I ever have the opportunity to coach against Belichick, the last possession would be 4 straight bombs into the end zone, and afterwards in the presser I’d say something Belichickian, like, “we’re on to Cincinnati,” or, “we practice to play all 4 quarters until the whistle blows” 🤔.
  23. I gotta say, given who was on the other side and their ranking coming in, YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  24. This game was a salve. A balm for the drought sports-ptsd we as Bills fans have had ingrained into us since…(fill in your own blank here). Maybe now we can objectively say, yes, we are good, we are here to stay, and we are the road through which anyone who wants to represent the AFC in the big one will have to travel through (no matter the location). GO BILLS!!!!!!!!
