  1. "If they don't get Rodgers this is an irredeemably bad hire and it probably ends up costing everyone their jobs." My fav post so far over there.
  2. Also needed was for our rushers to get their hands up and try to deflect passes in the absence of being able to get to a fast slinging Burrow--don't recall seeing that either, even though Groot has had success with that at other times.
  3. Especially the Cowboys, who are at 5 and counting...McCarthy lives to fight another day as well.
  4. You're right to point out the injuries and early season line play. However, what about Boogie, Epenesa, Rousseau who were also invisible Sunday (Boogie's cringe-worthy "sack" dance notwithstanding after jumping early)? Also, Von as a force of nature really elevated everyone around him, and the Bills had few if any answers in his absence.
  5. But sneaky old man game is a real thing too! The biggest asset with age (normally), would be wealth of experience, insight and know-how. Of course there will be exceptions to any rule.
  6. It'd be nice to at least see if it's coaching, as that's an easier fix for the position group than blowing it all up and starting from scratch with personnel?
  7. That doesn't pop up on google. Also, the Bills would not be announcing a firing--they would be announcing that they are not renewing his contract, which is expired...
  8. Well, Frazier would be the exact opposite of Saturday in Indy, and we all know how much Irsay likes to make moves against the grain of public opinion, so...
  9. Von's glasses only let him see sunshine and unicorns anywhere he looks...
  10. Will be bittersweet then, to also see Kumerow as a member of "gang-green" . https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/05/05/aaron-rodgers-remains-upset-the-packers-cut-jake-kumerow/
  11. Oh...so this guy was the one in charge of the no-press 20 yard CB cushions offered the Bengals all game long??
  12. This history of having McD jump in to take away playcalling mid-game back in the day, can't help the cause much either... https://billswire.usatoday.com/2018/09/17/buffalo-bills-play-calling-sean-mcdermott-leslie-frazier/
  13. Is it too much to wish for both?🤷🏼‍♂️
  14. So glad you qualified it as assistant “to” GM…
  15. C’mon Hoodie, you need to give Patricia a fair shake of at least 5 more seasons!
  16. It would've been epic Dawk--but I'm guessing the NFL isn't done with future moves to turn conference championships into neutral field sites--and Atlanta is built to host events like this. That said, of course if all things were equal, I'd still always like to see our playoff games in Orchard Park.
  17. The reason we have to compare to the 90’s teams is because that was also the last/most recent time we had a SB window with playoff games at home before Josh Allen! I agree it sucks it was that long ago…
  18. Seems like the way we were built to take advantage of the elements at home back in the 90's is markedly different to the current roster, as has been commented on by other posters at some length.
  19. You got to sleep in your bed for 2 weeks Saffold---the Bengals traveled to a game that should have been vintage Bills home field playoffs advantage--yet they looked like the ones unfazed by the elements and had gotten enough restful sleep on you...
  20. I mean, did he see that our olinemen apparently forgot their cleats at home?
  21. I do appreciate the speedy transition to offseason threads!
  22. And you can't tell me Josh didn't care or wasn't invested in the outcome of the game either...
