  1. Would’ve liked to see him in Buffalo with Josh, but happy for him and hope it works out!
  2. Can you imagine Arians in control of our going deep air raid offense? "Arians spent 2022 in a made-up job, furthering the perception that he was forced out, not that he chose to walk away. With his contract now expired, Arians can go wherever he wants. He’s officially retired. Then again, he was retired when he went to work for the Colts in 2012. He also was retired when he took the job in Tampa Bay. Although Arians has been connected to no head-coaching vacancies for 2023 (maybe he should be), Arians could serve an important role with a team that would benefit from his knowledge, experience, and expertise." https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/01/25/bruce-arians-extremely-unhappy-with-buccaneers-firings/
  3. I understand what you're saying, really. But what about those games like KC last year, where Josh and the O are doing everything humanly possible to win the game, but we're up against one of the other 3 best QB's in the league, and need to get just one stop to ice the game? The problem isn't outscoring everyone in the regular season for 90% of your games with a winning Frazier formula, it's getting over the hump in the playoffs when you need good complementary football to win it all that last 10% (where Frazier inevitably refuses to change it up), jmho though.
  4. "If they don't get Rodgers this is an irredeemably bad hire and it probably ends up costing everyone their jobs." My fav post so far over there.
  5. Also needed was for our rushers to get their hands up and try to deflect passes in the absence of being able to get to a fast slinging Burrow--don't recall seeing that either, even though Groot has had success with that at other times.
  6. Especially the Cowboys, who are at 5 and counting...McCarthy lives to fight another day as well.
  7. You're right to point out the injuries and early season line play. However, what about Boogie, Epenesa, Rousseau who were also invisible Sunday (Boogie's cringe-worthy "sack" dance notwithstanding after jumping early)? Also, Von as a force of nature really elevated everyone around him, and the Bills had few if any answers in his absence.
  8. But sneaky old man game is a real thing too! The biggest asset with age (normally), would be wealth of experience, insight and know-how. Of course there will be exceptions to any rule.
  9. It'd be nice to at least see if it's coaching, as that's an easier fix for the position group than blowing it all up and starting from scratch with personnel?
  10. That doesn't pop up on google. Also, the Bills would not be announcing a firing--they would be announcing that they are not renewing his contract, which is expired...
  11. Well, Frazier would be the exact opposite of Saturday in Indy, and we all know how much Irsay likes to make moves against the grain of public opinion, so...
  12. Von's glasses only let him see sunshine and unicorns anywhere he looks...
  13. Will be bittersweet then, to also see Kumerow as a member of "gang-green" . https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/05/05/aaron-rodgers-remains-upset-the-packers-cut-jake-kumerow/
  14. Oh...so this guy was the one in charge of the no-press 20 yard CB cushions offered the Bengals all game long??
  15. This history of having McD jump in to take away playcalling mid-game back in the day, can't help the cause much either... https://billswire.usatoday.com/2018/09/17/buffalo-bills-play-calling-sean-mcdermott-leslie-frazier/
  16. Is it too much to wish for both?🤷🏼‍♂️
  17. So glad you qualified it as assistant “to” GM…
  18. C’mon Hoodie, you need to give Patricia a fair shake of at least 5 more seasons!
  19. It would've been epic Dawk--but I'm guessing the NFL isn't done with future moves to turn conference championships into neutral field sites--and Atlanta is built to host events like this. That said, of course if all things were equal, I'd still always like to see our playoff games in Orchard Park.
  20. The reason we have to compare to the 90’s teams is because that was also the last/most recent time we had a SB window with playoff games at home before Josh Allen! I agree it sucks it was that long ago…
  21. Seems like the way we were built to take advantage of the elements at home back in the 90's is markedly different to the current roster, as has been commented on by other posters at some length.
