Watching a middling Green Bay offense (they now have the same record as us) convert the majority of their RZ trips and overall not look stymied at all against the KC D makes me a bit more optimistic than your take. Josh is also light years beyond what Jordan Love brings to the table imho.

I will say that as soon as we kicked the FG to take the lead, I was already wondering how we would give up another tying FG or outright lose based on our overall 2nd half D…I was more resigned to our fate than angry when Hurts scored. That’s definitely not the place I want to live in as a fan of this team. Only silver lining is that Josh is looking more like “Josh” again since Dorsey left, and thus I never doubted he’d put points up enough to win if the D would do its job at the end.

The Cover 1 guys (Gregg Thompsett/Aaron Quinn) in their postgame rundown specifically called Von out for the inexplicable misses on play recognition and lack of speed—albeit acknowledging that he’s at the same point Tre was in his recovery when we were worried Tre wasn’t going to return to form, etc. But he’s also older and you have to wonder how much internal drive there is to really put in that extra effort when he’s gotten paid and has trophies already sitting there, etc.

I know I won’t do @Virgil’s write ups any justice whatsoever, but it’s definitely my plan to do a full rundown of the gameday experience there, good or bad.

While the Chiefs are on O is when I plan to wait in line for refreshments and/or bathroom troughs…I’d rather just hear the crowd roar than see us cheap suit folding. Just get the ball back to Allen please.

I can understand the sentiment, but already committed the $$ awhile ago—if nothing else will try to make some good memories with my son who’s just getting into football. I’ll be going to the game with my 8yr old son for his first ever regular season Bills game. My nephew who’s a huge KC fan found STH tix for all of us a few months back, 375 a pop on the 40 yard line, 4th row on upper deck visitor’s side. Should be another wild high scoring ride as our O has its mojo back with Brady, but our D would make a colander proud when it counts. 🤷🏼‍♂️. Just hoping we come out of it with the W to “stay in the hunt” for another week at least. Who else is going? What are the best places to grab good BBQ at beforehand? We are going to have lunch before the game at a place called Gates BBQ in Leawood that came highly recommended.
