  1. Have a feeling that Josh will end up #1 on this list if he's able to maintain even half of his current torrid pace...we should be so lucky! https://www.cheatsheet.com/sports/top-7-rushing-quarterbacks-in-nfl-history.html/
  2. At least with numbers I have to remember short term, so long as I can assign them to a Bills player in my head, I'm good there. :)
  3. Touché Augie--pets are definitely hit or miss if parents don't exercise some due diligence up front! Also, cool idea with the experiences versus "things" take.
  4. Reich was money as the backup QB and the holder for Christie on this day...classic images!
  5. I'm just a couple years ahead of you at 40, and can say that my short term memory is simply awful. I always stop my wife if she starts giving more than one assignment off the honey-do list at a time, because I know there is no way I will remember it without another list! I'll tell her to text it to me . Sometimes I'll come down the stairs and forget what I came down for in the first place...and the list goes on. I'm guessing (hoping) it's kinda normal at this age? I will say my long term memory couldn't be better, and I rarely forget a face (name is different problem with newer acquaintances) so I think it's nothing too serious yet, lol.
  6. Besides my copy of “Armed & Dangerous” by JK and Carucci that my mom got me the year it came out ?, I’d have to say it was getting a RC wooden airplane model to build that had a wingspan of something crazy like 5 or 6 feet, during the height of my aviation kick early teen years, from my grandfather. Yours?
  7. Thanks for posting, loved C & H growing up! Also enjoyed Garfield comics
  8. Midway 1943. Awesome game (as I can recall it) at a local roller rink growing up, that was always my refuge from elementary/jr high school drama during skate parties in late 80’s very early 90’s lol
  9. Before stumbling across TBD (at first came for the Bills news aggregator feature after BN erected their paywalls) I really have felt like I was on an island down here with no way of really connecting with other Bills fans (normally avoid social media like the plague so my own fault I know) locally. Glad to know you guys are around, and have already informed the missus (aka gotten permission after fair enough advance warning ?) that when the word is given, I will need to break out from domestic duties for an afternoon. Looking forward to it soon hopefully
  10. To put this loop on repeat, this year is all about his development and seeing consistent signs of improvement along the way. You have to have an agenda to objectively not see that especially since his return from the elbow injury, the signs for such consistent improvement are there. Whether that is going through reads, pocket awareness, leadership, touch passes, all of the above, I'm greatly encouraged, regardless of the scoreboard result. Sure he won't be perfect or without some head-scratchers along the way, but the wins will follow naturally. The bottom line is, this kid is a gamer with a hunger to succeed, and is dragging the rest of the O along for the ride right now. How can you be mad at the fact he gave this team a chance to pull out the W all the way to the final play? Go Bills!!!!!
  11. Does he take the same elixir as Alex Guerrero mixes up for TB12? If not, it's over
  12. There simply are no words.
  13. Considering that these are rookies with a necessarily small sample size, isn’t that by definition all we can do? As well as identifying patterns limited to 2/3 of a season?
  14. Not to be cute, but what does your analysis tell you about the worth, or lack of it, of the supporting O cast’s talent level, and how do you propose to account for it in your comparison models of the other QB’s you’ve referenced? Put another way, do you believe that any of the other rookies would be putting up better numbers if they had a current Bills jersey on? For me the physical tools that JA has been blessed with provide the highest upside of any of them if properly harnessed, channeled and developed. Nothing that’s happened since he’s come back from the elbow leads me to believe that can’t or won’t happen. Fair enough?
  15. Oh boy, JA may have to rush for 200 this week just to get safely away from his "pocket."
  16. This is a real thread?
  17. Shades of Kelly to Ronnie Harmon 1989, the pass doinked right off his forearm in the end zone, playoffs against the Browns/Bernie Kosar (yes, Cleveland used to be good too). Catch it, Bills win, he didn’t, so long trek back home with what could’ve/should’ve been. However, after that year, the SB run started and Kelly became Kelly—while I know this is not the same setting in terms of playoffs, I have confidence Allen will build off of this and become a better QB over time this year and beyond.
  18. All he can do is give his teammates the ability to make a play on the ball when he rockets it loose—he did that, and we should be talking about an awesome win at the end. To say nothing of what he did with his legs again too. He’s definitely a baller, and I’m feeling more confident by the week that the Bills didn’t miss on this kid.
  19. Understood; but he’s doing things practice wise that show he’s not exactly incapacitated. But he definitely took a pounding while playing
  20. This def strikes me as an odd situation; is this out of the ordinary in terms of length of time in the protocol? I understand every case is different but he has been back out on the practice field throwing the ball
  21. Time to start a new streak with JA at the helm!! It’s pretty cool to actually look forward to game days now instead of dreading them during that 4-5 week super bad run this year. Go Bills!!!!
