  1. The statements made in this article are aging quite well thus far... “Just listening to him talk – and I’ve been out of the game for a long time – I wanted to suit up. He can get you going. But the thing too is he’s so smart about the game of football, he’s going to know the buttons to push.’’ https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/raiders/2018/01/09/jon-gruden-oakland-raiders-coach-mark-davis/1018005001/
  2. Why is it that the OL is always the group receiving presents? Wouldn't they want to give JA and the rest of the QB's in that room something nice, as a gesture for all the "lookout, here they come!" blocks given up this year? Maybe a little something to take the edge off of endangering his life and limb every time they set foot outside the tunnel on game day?
  3. Will they also spring for some genuine astroturf in the backyard? Wonder how many road rash type burns/twisted ankles the actors suffered during the outside shots playing catch or whatever out there...classic TV magic!
  4. I would seriously put some money down to see that--who can make this happen?
  5. But that's just it--in t-shirts and shorts, this guy has proven to be a world-beater...if anything, their backfield may fold completely after being outclassed during practices by the worst starter since Randy Hedberg for the late 70's Buccaneers? Just sayin'
  6. Don't Buffalo_Gal! it's a clever distraction to make you feel less bad after his next TD throw to Gronk, who will be clubbing White illegally with his titanium elbow brace right before making the catch...
  7. I'll go with that. Plus, you have Dr. in your name, so I'm doubly on board.
  8. Clever propaganda ploy to discount the value of a Bills win in NE, or provide cover for natural deterioration? Either way, I'll believe it when he's not on the field, as another poster above mentioned.
  9. Good for Nate. He's none of our concern any longer, and I will wish him well because, good grief, why not? He blew up spectacularly on the field of play, but I appreciated his willingness to put in the time and effort, and also answer every single last idiotic question posed to him by the press corps post-game each week, unlike some of our other "stars" during the dog days of this season. I will take everything negative back I've said or thought about Gruden if he can competently salvage this man's career in football. But I won't hold my breath either.
  10. And then...they don’t ??
  11. He’s just too smart for us outsiders to question. You’re supposed to be intimidated by his many years of film study and pithy commentary from the booth, and stop paying attention to his overall W-L record!
  12. ??Hey you owned it, you deserve a kudos for that!
  13. They could at least put something else in the cups and take a sip now and then, none of us would ever know—and everyone is happy with this controversy going the way of the Dodo bird?
  14. You’re right but undeniable that NP at least looked the part in camp and preseason...head scratchingly so!
  15. That does seem right Donuts, after all, they are not currently #1, for shame on them...
  16. Oh wow, this makes me feel so much better about our WR’s! Cross that off the list of needs for Beane to jump on this off-season! ???‍♂️ (just think, someone got paid to produce this drivel...)
  17. ^^^^^^Post of the day nomination right here!
  18. Tannehill is like an annoying fruit fly; Brady is like the grinch that stole Shawne Merriman’s steroids. In other news, those Alex Guerrero smoothies sure pack a punch!
  19. Tannehill just isn’t nearly enough of a villain in my book—almost harmless in fact given his injury history—compared with all the bad history we’ve had at the hands of one Brady.
  20. Kind of like technically the Jets and Giants aren't in New York at all? Oh, I can't wait. That's all I want for Christmas, is to get the chance to read some snippets of irate NE fans post-loss to JA!
  21. Thanks Ice, would be nice! No bigger regular season game spotlight for Josh Allen than this one here--will give him the chance to really cement his status as rising star of this team and the leadership mantle we all hope he claims, by way of a "show out" game.
  22. He and Gronk should join forces for the Tide pod commercials, so that Gronk is not forced to carry so many lines of dialogue (3) all by his lonesome...
  23. Has to be Pats. Taking them down in their own house, when it matters to them and TB12 is playing? Give me that all day!!
