  1. Let me help you out with that Augie; February 2, 2020, Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL. Just when do you propose the Bills should take steps to get substantively better this year if not in the offseason?
  2. So did Barry Switzer, but does anyone consider Barry to be a better career coach than HOFer Marv? If Super Bowls were the only measuring stick, then Jim McMahon would also be a better QB than Dan Marino, right?
  3. SMH. Don't trust anybody around your kids, period. My wife and I decided a long time ago for instance, that we won't let them go to friends' houses for sleepovers, no matter how long we've known the other parents, etc. It's just not worth the risk people! Protecting your family is your #1 job as a parent, and there just aren't any shortcuts.
  4. And then @teefcan help us make sense of those musings!
  5. Well, winning the offseason did require his brother to sleep on a futon at the OBD coaches offices...unfortunately, maybe Rob should've been working instead of sleeping, and Mario would've actually understood where he was supposed to play in that Ryan Defense?
  6. Vinegar (diluted with some water) is also a good natural cleaner that won't be quite as harsh on fibers as chemicals.
  7. Bears...Beets...Battlestar Galactica. Therefore, The Office wins.
  8. Not enough pages yet. If only we could figure out a way to morph this into a Pats lovefest thread, then we'd really have some staying power with this one!
  9. While we're at it, maybe the posters responsible for said identical threads can officially change their board membership as part of the merger? That way at least it won't be as confusing for who belongs where.
  10. Yes--the ultimate "resting on your laurels" HC who could never be ushered out the door unwillingly based on exactly that. Although, it's not like his 90's Miami teams were ever bad/awful (having Marino covered up a lot of sins), they just couldn't get over the hump outside the regular season, sort of like the modern era Chargers or Vikings?
  11. And his talent at QB/WR was right up there with the all-timers--Marino racked up multiple passing records during his run, but the Bills were there to snuff out the Fish in the playoffs time after time. Unlike Hoodie, Shula simply could come up with no answers for the Bills O.
  12. #8 still boggles my mind. How did Kelvin come down with that ball, when the man had trouble catching a cold? Or for that matter, how did he even know which route to run? Am still in shock over here.
  13. Gugs! How did it take so long for you to join in on the Pats threads fun?? What can’t this superhuman GOAT all do? Bills fans demand more insight into what makes the Patriots so awesome?
  14. Lol, definitely a strong contender. Personally I’m thinking the thread discussing this is the greatest Pats squad since the 89 49ers has pulled into the lead, but it’s close I’ll give you... [update: the thread about Brady’s awesome accent is coming up fast...]
  15. I mean really, maybe the better question to pose in a new Patriots themed thread should be which current Pats player or coach is NOT going in to the HOF on the first ballot?? I celebrate the Patriots’ entire catalogue...the same way as below, at the 1:09 mark:
  16. Kudos for your reference to "Pravda"--that's pulling out all the analogy stops, nailed it!
  17. I view it as more of it being the offseason, which warrants this kind of discussion in the absence of actual ongoing games to discuss. Besides, I'll happily take threads like this any day over the fawning Pats board lite that so many other threads here have become the week after the SB. If we're good enough to go 11-5, then we should be good enough to go 13-3. Moonshot!
  18. ROFL. Thank you for passing along Schefter’s sentiments on the topic. Yes, this changes everything of course! More of the same please!
  19. Yet, strangely, this stat does nothing for me . In all seriousness, yes, impressive. But I’m over the Pats, in all forms and ways that can be expressed.
  20. Thanks for all the in-depth digging OP. Good stuff! Really looking forward to the Cleveland game already. Doubtless will be a far cry from the single digit snooze-fests during the drought between the 2 clubs that Sully loved to pan! Post of the day
  21. Has BB earned himself the benefit of the doubt when it comes to never pushing any boundaries or not being willing to break the rules, one has to ask? If the answer is “no,” then there must be some kind of an unconventional nefarious angle, otherwise why would he be so concerned about McVay’s whereabouts at that moment? If the answer is “yes,” then he must’ve just been trying to be neighborly and flash McVay one of his customary in game smiles. Also seemed like “Josh” was helping with spotting duties, but hey, I’m sure nothing to see here.
  22. Post of the day. Update your resume and make it suitable for framing, Donuts!
