Did anyone ever cheat in school?
NoHuddleKelly12 replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
In college the frat I was in kept a filing cabinet where each member was to deposit a copy of the exams that they took, so that subsequent members could study off of them--the system worked for those profs who were too lazy to change their finals around all that much year over year, so that you would have a better idea of which material was more likely to be tested on, form of the questions, etc. So I don't know that you would call that cheating so much as effective recon taking advantage of those professors who never bothered to change things up. Maybe "gaming the system" would be more appropriate? That's the closest I can come up with anyway to the OP's point. -

The QB whisperer Arians marrying up to the same QB who barely was able to get Fitzy out of town last year—this should be popcorn worthy given Bruce’s notable lack of tolerance for boneheaded INT’s. -

One can only hope...it is still the offseason after all. But I will say in all seriousness that if this Dline that the Bills are putting together can't make Brady's life miserable this year, then I don't know what it will take to solve the Rubix cube that is the Patsies so long as Hoodie and TB12 are trotted out there. -

Get your trademark application in now--and will there be T-shirts to buy at a reasonable price point? Make 'em the breathable poly blend while you're at it, please -

Bills Drafted Starter Outlook

Absolutely agree with the OP’s overall point about home grown talent versus cap-crashing FA pickups. Of course, this FO had little choice this offseason considering the dearth of long term talent drafted by Overdorf , Whaley, et al, but long term their vision is clear. Also, unsurprisingly the QB is most important for that, such as Seahawks being able to parlay Wilson’s rookie deal with the first iteration of that Super Bowl roster. -

Well-played my friend, but you know what they say about one man’s trash... I guess Denver is hoping for the 2nd coming of Rich Gannon—an ability to remake his career in new spots arguably better than before? https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/G/GannRi00.htm -
And flair!! Don’t forget the flair—such as Clemson gear, wrapping for your truck, and a futon in the office for your nepotism hires so no one thinks they’re actually just mooching from the owners!! That’s a fool proof plan right there, I don’t care who you are ??. oh, and final prerequisite for success as a coach—get a house in the snowiest part of the city...

Thanks much for the highly entertaining link Dr D!! Love to wallow in other hated fan bases’ misery—(besides noticing their board has no salty language censorship in honor of today apparently) my favorite gem is from “Broadway Sam,” who opines, “I thought the Gase hire would take at least a season to prove to be awful but wow he exceeded expectations.” -
The Apple Dumpling Gang (and The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again)...Thanks TC, for the laughs!!! RIP.

I respectfully disagree. Yes, he’s not the most “radio polished” by any means, but I listen because he knows what he’s talking about in terms of football, has funny anecdotes about the teams I was rabid about growing up, and he doesn’t mind disagreeing with Murph to keep him honest along the way—all in all, I’ll take it for what it is. Still prefer OBL to Schopp & Bulldog. Oh, and the dude needs to get into the HOF. Will someone please get Peter King on the horn and make this happen finally?

I literally started to cringe when the backslapping started, as if we’d just hit paydirt with Preston Brown... -

A "first" for EJ's NFL career that is probably not suitable for framing on his man-cave wall? https://ftw.usatoday.com/2015/10/ej-manuel-bills-lose-game-three-different-countries Nonetheless, I wish him all the best, with better times as a retired player, and one eligible for the vested NFL pension, so there's that. -

Thanks for pointing that out—one of my fav movies of all time growing up was “War Wagon” with KD—and did his chin ever win an Academy Award by itself?

She was a great actress, timeless quality much like Hepburn’s acting chops. RIP
