Let’s put it this way, he should probably err on the side of staying at some fancier extended stay motels, or sleeping at the office (kill 2 birds with one stone—look like you’re “all-in” with the effort while at the same time save on rent), as opposed to wasting a couple weekends and tanks of gas going from one overpriced townhome showing to another in the metro DC area...

I don’t begrudge the gesture as ultimately every dollar going to help kids that are sick and in need of help from any source is by definition a good thing regardless of any “PR” type motivation if that’s the case—but also no question that Gronk has burned a lot of bridges with his antics on the field and that hit on White was as unbelievable as it gets, imho. I truly hope he’s coming around and is making real changes in his life as part of finally maturing/growing up, but let’s wait and see.

^^^^^This. We really need him to repeat his form from last year, and I worry that his aggressive nose for the ball(carrier) may fall off some--hope I'm wrong of course, and initial reports out of OTA's were at least positive concerning his effort thus far.

A mistaken conclusion reached via a faulty premise which places too much emphasis on the future remaining a static outgrowth of the present...but it's all good. Much like "wrong Josh" type hot takes have faded into obscurity, I have no doubt that NE supremacy and its defenders, are about to go the way of the Dodo bird. Such is the nature of things over time.

I don't see a downside here. A big part of what they need to do with this squad of so many new FA's and rookies coming in, is build up the "team" component in a hurry--what better way than with a letting loose sort of fun event for the guys to all feel good about? There will still be plenty of time for the x's and o's outside of this one practice session. This is what "process" looks like people!
