  1. Yup...bossman walking...like a boss!
  2. Perhaps they can add a segment on what's the difference between a garage sale and a yard sale? I'd get something useful out of that methinks...
  3. 1a. Own the AFC E. 2a. Beat legendary HOF QB's to get to said SB's, including Elway, Marino, Moon and Montana. 3a. It's a miracle the franchise still had a fanbase by the time Josh Allen was drafted.
  4. It must be a conspiracy of some sort--today my "Garmin speak Alexa" kept turning on WEEI out of Boston as a similar station, every time I asked her to play WGR on the Radio.com app; I was forced to go old school and do it manually through the app on my phone. I wonder if she'll be more likely to play the Rochester station.
  5. I was hoping that part was made up at least, but have wasted enough minutes listening to them now to know that absolutely happened
  6. Congrats, your certificate for post of the day suitable for framing will hit the mail shortly.
  7. I really don't get the vitriol directed his way--sure, he may not be the most refined or eloquent with his grammar, but I thoroughly enjoy what he brings to the table in terms of inside knowledge of the game, his timely anecdotes, and interaction with Murph. I guess that makes me a homer though?
  8. Or at the very least, one where he consistently feels the need to look beyond the numbers and inject something else into it. That show is pretty much insufferable to listen to on so many levels. I much prefer the team oriented propaganda mill of OBL--and am not ashamed to admit it.
  9. It's usually not reasoned, that's the crux of the problem, imho. However, when called for, such as during the doldrums of the early-mid 2018 season, many of us in the "sunnyside up" camp were giving it both barrels on this board, and rightfully so at the time. Nothing would've made me happier than to see most of the coordinators/coaching staff fired by weeks 4 or 5, and now in hindsight, that was premature. But regardless, my point is, I think it's a mistake to say those who are consistently negative face "intolerance" regardless of their reasoning; it's more of a push back where no credible evidence supporting a particular negative position is offered to go along with the hot take. But I may be mistaken I suppose, wouldn't be the first time.
  10. Sad. Did he also make any mention of the fact that Tyrod couldn't regain his starting gig over a rook in Cleveland?
  11. My fav quote: Note that I’m not using the phrase “but he dropped it” or “it was thrown in the wrong place”.
  12. Allows focus on the passing concepts for install/timing --not a great article on it, but basics here: https://www.answers.com/Q/Which_positions_are_involved_in_a_7_on_7_football_drill
  13. Tasker's comment that a lot of the 3rd string WR's will suddenly get starting roles in preseason games where they are expected to flawlessly run plays they've possibly never run in practice (just watching the 1st string run them, for example) was somewhat sobering to consider, on their behalf.
  14. Did your account get hacked by @ScottLaw again?? In fairness, he did call for the Bills to win at least 8 games this year, so there's that...
  15. Just in case not mentioned yet, heard Murphy raving for a couple min about Nick Easley back of EZ catch where he jumped high to snag it from Barkley(?)--another under the radar WR with a potential shot to make some noise this year.
  16. Also enjoyed catching the 2018 McCarron/Peterman camp highlights located on the same page . Which unpaid intern forgot to hit "delete?"
  17. Sorry, I thought that was Right Josh Rosen? Must’ve been mistaken
  18. What a story. Amazing resiliency shown by this family—we can all learn a little bit about how to treat others and deal with setbacks in our lives from this example. It also just makes you want to cheer that extra bit for this team to make it—so many good dudes that Beane has brought together. Mitch is the man.
  19. Might be in the running for post of the day...keep it up and you just may have a future here!
  20. The bar to beat in terms of competency, was set about this low...
  21. I respectfully disagree. There is a significant cabal on the boards who almost reflexively take issue with most of the Bills’ moves and/or roster quality, yet have not been banned or barred from expressing themselves however they please. The fact that any opinions here are subject to push-back is hardly a sign of bias—make rational arguments supported by facts and citations, and let good discussions flow from there.
  22. Sorry, I didn’t realize that hard work and taking pride in your craft no longer pays any dividends on the field? That’s not a generational thing, it’s a universal truth, as relevant as the concept of gravity. Knock it all you want, but character still matters.
  23. Listening to Dark Watch right now on Audible, another excellent Oregon Files caper—you have to suspend some disbelief at the amount of $$ it would take to build that ship and run a 1st class mercenary crew like that, but Juan Cabrillo is the baddest dude on one good leg out there!
