Would be curious what a poll here would show. I'm all for taking it down. Even if you cling to the notion that he didn't do it, you can't avoid the reality that he was adjudged liable in the subsequent wrongful death civil case, is a further convicted felon on other charges (Las Vegas) even after all that, and has generally speaking done everything in his power to be a terrible ambassador for what it should mean to be up on that Wall in the 1st place. I get the argument for bifurcating a player's football prowess from personal life, but there have to be exceptions for extreme egregiousness, and this should be a no-brainer accordingly.

He earned at least a shot to show what he can do in a new season, and some guys just do better when the bullets are “live.”

Tasker’s special teams credibility plus his conversion to WR later in career, both of which he excelled at, make him a worthy candidate, imo. Played above his size pay grade!

SMH. Wins and losses start in the trenches. A “pretty prolific passing offense” as helmed by a 2nd yr starter who will be less able to run for his life, extend plays than Allen when things inevitably break down behind that line? Where are these 10 wins coming from exactly? Darnold has a penchant for INT’s as it is, so add in no time for plays to develop and I’m scratching my head over how that’s supposed to go better than Buffalo’s WL prediction from you?

You gotta “billieve” that it will happen again. Isn’t that the point of our obsessive fandom, pursuing that reality?
