Exactly--seems like the Bills are focusing on versatility/utility across the line, everyone (mostly) cross-trained to be able to jump in at a moment's notice and not miss too much of a beat in the process. Great for depth insurance during a long season! Who here honestly believes that the starting 5 in Game 1 will be unchanged with no injuries by the time we've locked up our first round bye? Especially Morse.

I have no doubt as to Oliver’s future success, but to anoint him as camp’s MVP? A stretch, imho.

Luckily, as I’ve been told elsewhere, preseason means nothing! Allen’s progress is a mirage, just like Murray’s struggles mean he’s actually better than Allen, and Jimmy G is well on his way to MVP!

Just to recap, Allen was preached at all season last year by the punditry to improve short/medium passing game, up completion % and “take what the defense gives” more than bombs away. Allen does exactly this since last year ended, including every preseason game thus far, and this “author” decides that is “proof” he’s a poser. Carry on. Agree totally. Going 9/11 against the Panthers including 5/5 targets to Beasley, bodes well for that prediction already, at least in terms of his mindset! (I know, I know, preseason--but I'd rather be trying to downplay good preseason play than justify a poor showing)

I remember him back in the BN days referencing some dude at the local watering hole (can’t remember his name) for his “man on the street” type take on how things were going periodically, and during the magic Fitzy run he was optimistic more so than not, IIRC. But yes, normally a negative nellie, so this is out of character for sure.

Lol. Just bought some Bills Zubaz sweats for cheap on EBay (find that’s a great place for deals on Bills gear period)—my wife thinks I’m nuts to want to wear something like that in public.

Have been FF sober for a few years now—this Bills roster iteration is tempting me greatly to jump back in. Part of the reason I left was I was tired of being forced to “root” for players possibly playing against the Bills on any given Sunday—if I draft all Bills then problem solved .
