    One fairly consistently shows up and shows out in the playoffs…and the other fairly consistently does not. Diggs can talk all he wants, but who was actually making things happen on the field in crunch time?

    They will both publicly downplay the significance of the single game and them meeting in it etc., but you know that privately both of them will feel this one more and bring just a little bit extra to the game…my $$ is on Josh to come through under pressure more than Diggs (who may let another deep ball slip through?)🤔

    Hopefully the future HOF rookie we nab in the 2024 draft + the rest of our revamped WR room this year will make that a luxury consideration instead of a glaring roster need for us! 😊

    Exactly this—Diggs just wasn’t drawing the double team attention anymore because it wasn’t necessary. But that should make us even more optimistic about Shakir, Kincaid and Cook continuing to improve despite Diggs exiting stage left, imho.

    He’s gotten plenty of criticism around here when earned imho. But you get the franchise QB pick right, you’re a made man, that’s how that works! 🤷🏼‍♂️

    Is it wrong that I feel almost giddy about these developments? Excited about the possibilities coming up with the draft and finding a new franchise WR that can make it happen for Allen when it counts in the playoffs!! And the best part is some other team’s fans can stew over off-season cryptic Diggs tweets!!!

    Fair point! But I’ll inevitably know the outcome and that will ruin it 🤷🏼‍♂️…unless we win big and I won’t mind sitting through on demand.

    Not cool, imho. For those of us with young-ish kids (and lots of relatives who don’t watch football), this feels like a trampling on what is supposed to be a special day set aside to focus on what matters most “in real life.” Hopefully it’s not us!

    They intend to cycle through QB’s on a drive like McD does his D-line rotation 🤷🏼‍♂️? Would be funny to watch if nothing else.

    ROC, fair point brother, but not for nothing, the key difference between then and now, is Josh Allen—we are built to win now and pile on the weapons for him; back then we needed to find a QB plus more, and were not going to make any noise in the playoffs, so it was a colossal waste of resources by Whaley to do it, imho.

    Of course they will vote yes, as even wafting a threat about moving this franchise will be too awful for the region to bear, all grumbling aside. Pretty dirty pool by the Chiefs ownership however.
