Cant stand Aaron Rodgers.

The word I would use to describe him is "temperamental." When his head is in the game, he can barely be stopped by physical means. But when he is on one of his melancholy self-pitying kicks that wind up with a position coach or 2 fired, he just doesn't care and it shows. He's entitled to his opinion concerning the Luck incident of course, but I agree he came off not looking good in that moment. -
Clowney Trending for some reason.

Exactly--middling Bills teams that went for splashy FA's during "the stretch," including the likes of T.O., Mario, Bledsoe, Merriman, Adams, etc., hardly cured what ailed us--to the contrary, it virtually guaranteed further "middling." This team has been rebuilt from the ground up, organically through the last couple drafts, as well as depth signings in this year's FA period. I mean, can anyone remember a Bills team at least on paper in the last generation, that was this deep at multiple positions, esp. on D? -
The NFL is a meritocracy, or at least is supposed to be, not a popularity pageant where the winner gets a trophy just for looking right. We already debated the merits of your Patriots threads back then, no need to dive back in today—my point in bringing that up is simply to underline that your thread today fits neatly into the pattern of poking the bear—or did you not expect to see flak for tying your team loyalty to a few Benjamin Franklins?

Schopp/Bulldog get a guaranteed switch to Pandora from me when they start talking about their “moves.” Prolly mostly filler for their lack of preparation as to actual substance concerning the Bills, for example Is this a cut/paste from the unpopular opinions thread? . Also, a lower cal option is hot sauce for the ketchup, but I can’t be mad at you for the premise lol.

Not sure if this has made the rounds yet or not, but felt it was appropriate to share some final thoughts from the Captain’s Twitter as conveyed by SI, with warm well wishes included from Dear Mother: https://www.si.com/nfl/2019/08/28/capt-andrew-luck-twitter-colts-retirement

Zay Jones’ Dad - an “Interesting” follow
NoHuddleKelly12 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Never said they were contractually obligated—I said their families should play along in order to minimize things like exactly this—none of which actually helps their player in any way, or? Zay needs to be focused on what he needs to do on the field, not on having to worry about what the old man is doing to gain unwanted negative attention. Maybe I’m thinking a little too old school about the issue though. -

I get your point--but the difference is that the fans are not being paid to perform on the national stage, the players are--and by extension their families should play along to minimize off the field distractions. Do I also wish all fans behaved maturely all the time? Of course. -

Yikes, maybe a little less time trolling the fan base, and a little more time encouraging the young man to work on the finer points of pass-catching may be in order? -
Running = sport. Track/Field events have to be Title IX compliant at public institutions, and training for a marathon event could hardly be described as a lesser type activity, imho.

Sorry man, you know I couldn’t let that go, right? XXV—what exactly would Marino have done differently against a Giants O that ate up the clock since our D never came off the field? Kelly was serviceable and drove us to potential game winner FG; for XXVI I’d agree he had bad game, despite 2 TDs late; XXVII he was hurt early by that cheap shot Norton Jr going after his knees (in today’s NFL prob ejected for it) and it was up to Reich; XXVIII was actually a decent outing—Beebe should’ve held on to a deep strike TD early, and Thurman probably most to blame for turning that game with his fumble in 3Q. But most importantly, Marino had multiple chances to be the guy in those SB’s and could not ever beat Kelly to get there, so there’s that. And how did his own SB appearance turn out in 84?

Oh without a doubt! I rocked that waiver wire every Tuesday lol. But that’s part of it, for me it wasn’t a good fit with my personality, and I see that now on the other side. It’s fine for a lot of others tho.

Frank Reich's press conference
NoHuddleKelly12 replied to The Bills Blog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Reich's a straight up good dude, and I have little doubt he has what it takes to keep that team on track, apart from that. Best backup QB of all time! -
My life after going sober from fantasy football has been less stressed and plain old more enjoyable as a fan. FF takes away from being a fan of only one team, imho.

Percy Harvin unretiring

Maybe this news will encourage Favre to unretire and make it a package deal? -
