  1. Bill Nye the "Bachelor's in Mech Engineering Guy" was already taken?
  2. We are of course blessed, to have to run into them 2x. However, I bet the Patsies aren't exactly licking their chops at the prospect of playing the Bills again this year--no gimme games ever given up by McD so far to the evil empire.
  3. This time last year I was itching for him to get canned. Now I'm worried we won't be able to keep him beyond this season to head coaching opportunities.
  4. It's ok, I almost believed Buddy when he said that they were totally comfortable with where they drafted EJ at , so I'm hardly FO qualified myself. https://www.espn.com/blog/statsinfo/post/_/id/65051/why-bills-drafted-ej-manuel-in-first-round
  5. I mean, all he needed was a tweak of his basic throwing motion to make it, you know, NFL ready, but other than that, totally!!!
  6. And, how many compensatory draft picks were awarded to NE for that?
  7. Just don't ever go messing with our home game playing sites again!! One Toronto cash grab over the life of the franchise was enough.
  8. Even Booger had trouble believing what he was seeing--with about 11 min to go in the 4th, he was basically pleading with the Jets to mercifully yank Darnold from the game...as in, what was the point in keeping him out there? On one drive in particular, 3 straight passes to absolutely no one--a total meltdown of epic proportions that makes Peterman look like a solid starting option!
  9. Do we need to go back through the recitation of how many offensive holes were plugged plus depth added in one of the busier offseasons I can ever recall for this team? And the need for that was ultimately the Ryan/Whaley regime saddling us with unfriendly contracts and underperforming talent that needed to be replaced in a comprehensive manner. But what do I know, I’m just a fan like everyone else, trying to enjoy being 5-1 and not focus on our first-world problems too much
  10. And yet it’s all translating to W after W, just sayin’.
  11. I’ll take the intangibles, the drive to win, fierce competitiveness and a willingness to do whatever it takes to pull out a W in the end, over all the high yardage games in the world that start with L. This kid just has “it,” imho, and we will go plenty far with him, mark it. That will also include some blowout W’s with plenty of TDs—I mean heck, he put up 5 against a better version of this Miami team already in his rook year so we know he’s capable of that too. Right now the Bills are choosing to play complementary ball to the D’s strengths. Could/should today have gone better in terms of style points? Sure, but I’ll happily take my W and move on to Philly in the meantime.
  12. 1 per additional game per team seems like the most reasonable starting point?
  13. Agreed; the Raiders loss with Orton still sticks in my craw—we were supposed to win against a bad Raiders team and basically control our own playoff destiny...instead, well, I won’t spoil the ending for you. That said, I have zero doubts this year that the team will keep its focus where it needs to be—collect/bank 3 straight W’s at home to keep the pressure on the Patsies for the division, and start creating some real cushion for the #1 WC spot...
  14. Thoroughly enjoyed this, thanks OP.
  15. Is it just me, or do any of the old-timers here have a passing thought that our boy Feliciano reminds them of this guy too?
  16. Depends which version of Ryan appears? The one that Mel Kiper grew swarmy of pre-draft, or the sad sack that guru Gase ran into the ground? He needs to quick take lessons from Fitzy about how to bottle magic up for 3 or so straight games at the cost of later implosions.
  17. Respect. Definitely one of the all-timers at his position, who Jim K often credited with the stability of the blocking up front during his era. Gone too soon, may he RIP.
  18. As the first WR to ever catch a TD pass from Allen (preseason last year), I’m glad he gets another shot at this—hopefully he makes something happen with it! https://www.buffalobills.com/video/every-josh-allen-pass-preseason-week-1
  19. So far good for 2nd best record in the conference, no? If it 'aint broke...you get it
  20. ^^^^This. I think this is a coach who has nothing in the cupboard from the FO, and is worried about losing both any credibility he may have left with the remaining players, as well as his job (easy sacrificial lamb to appease the fan base in the offseason?). Rosen is clearly the least capable of the 2.
  21. No matter which way this ends up, you know he will have issues later in life to contend with (arthritis, pain, nerve damage issues etc.) on that leg, which most likely will affect his quality of life, but wish him nothing but the best! Despite efforts through rules changes where this league tries to sanitize the game from injuries like this, it remains a violent game at its heart.
  22. And those same Patriots have beaten...? And barely squeaked out a W against us. Point being, their resume this year is similar to ours.
  23. I believe “fire everyone” is the appropriate response you were looking for.
  24. Right? I also love the delayed automatic door reaction—almost like an auto bowling ball removal arm
