  1. Point taken as to a purely passing benchmark. And the W-L record at 5-2 is also the same, so yeah, how exactly is Josh playing any worse than his peers? And frankly I'd still rather have Josh than Darnold any day of the week and 2x on Sundays. Asking when we are going to "admit" that Josh is a bust is about the most hot take of hot takes being posted around here, imho.
  2. Are you willing to be intellectually consistent and make the same judgment call as to the can't miss prospects drafted ahead of Allen, in Darnold and Mayfield? "I see ghosts" Darnold's ongoing pick tracker notched another 3, to make 7 over his last 2 games for starters, going along nicely with 8 (not a typo), sacks taken yesterday alone...Mayfield's W-L record is the inverse of Josh's at 2-5, but hey, who's counting? Unless you are willing to call the entire 2018 QB draft class a bust at this point, minus Lamar who's playing lights out right now, then you are unfairly singling out Josh's coming of age roller coaster ride that we're on, and not taking into account all of the other variables in play, together with the aforementioned peer comparison points.
  3. At least you're trying to keep some stand up comedy material going on this gloomy Monday on the boards. Kudos for that!
  4. This. I still have all the confidence in the world that we have a special talent at QB right now, but I wonder if all the emphasis on the short game over the offseason to the exclusion of all else for his game, has been a factor in why it's been so difficult to mirror the long balls from back half of last year.
  5. How this team responds to adversity (which we knew would be coming at some point this season) will be must see TV this weekend; I agree McD has always had a knack for getting the guys to respond following disappointment and not losing the locker room cohesion.
  6. Your truth may not exactly jive with some of the rest of us who believe the truth to be different about this team. Time will tell. Am I upset/disappointed about today? Of course. But to call the 2019 Bills fraudulent? No need to go a bridge too far. Case in point—guess who beat these same Eagles for their ONLY win so far? The hapless other birds of prey, the Falcons. Does that mean we are worse than the 1-7 Falcons? C’mon man. It’s the NFL, any given Sunday and all that. Next week should make us all feel better again.
  7. ^^^^^This. The sky is not falling—did anyone here really expect the Bills to go 15-1 rest of the way? Most folks were in the 9-7 or 10-6 camp before this year, and I still bet we end up 11-5 when it’s all said and done. That said, I agree with the posters who feel that Daboll did the O no favors today with his play designs for the elements and lack of adjustments into the 2nd half. Need to see improvement across the board next week, and a return to form for a D that was gashed on the run.
  8. Josh I’m happily paying the fine with you in spirit, hope you continue to wear your exuberance on your sleeve—it fires up your teammates and those of us watching from the peanut gallery!
  9. And until he stops showing that he’s quite capable of willing the Bills to W’s time after time especially when it counts most in the 4th, I’ll continue to add his gear to what I rock on game days
  10. Josh is just wrapping up the equivalent of one (1) full nfl season of games played as a starter—we cannot forget that, which is why I feel like he’s growing as rapidly into his role as we could possibly reasonably expect, plus some gravy to boot! Outside of the evil empire NE, he hasn’t lost a game since Dec 9 of 2018, FWIW http://www.nfl.com/player/joshallen/2560955/gamelogs?season=2018
  11. Love the Kenneth Davis shout out, OP—agreed we would’ve prolly been happy to have those types of numbers from him, instead he’s giving us more of a Thurman type flavor, which is gravy spectacular!!
  12. Well...I would say that depends on the posters and their respective history in terms of banging the same negativity drum to such an extent that if said player(s) do something positive, a negative must still be found to avoid the narrative blowing up?
  13. Makes one appreciate a bit more the fact that JK called all of his own plays at the line in a hurry up rhythm, and did so mostly competently at that!
  14. As much as we’ve been spoiled this year so far by our stellar D, I agree it’s super worrying if both still are no-go’s this week against a much better personnel group than Miami brought—this is where our relatively intact O needs to step up and carry the game by simply outscoring the Iggles straight up—we need to be able to rely on that if we expect to go far in the playoffs this year!
  15. Just to be clear, I heart me some Canada and all the Bills fans from there, but that move just made the Bills look like an in-limbo franchise that was suffering from a lack of direction and tone deaf management.
  16. Put me down as a definitely yes on this—they had me at Zubaz and #17 on the hat—brilliant!
  17. Amazing what that man was able to do on the field despite all of the extra wind resistance bubbled around his head!
  18. And that is a scientific fact! For a closer look at the sophisticated rocket launch technology and precision tools required/involved in this process, refer below:
  19. So glad you posted this. The color combos displayed here just scream winning the AFC basically every year--and oh yah, Pats, go sleep on the pull out couch in the division basement.
  20. This is why we keep you around. Well played!
  21. I would totally Disney it up even without my kids in tow--love that place! Many happy trails Donuts, hope you have a fantastic time there with your fam--do you plan on rocking any Bills gear while there? It was great getting kudos from wearing my Bills hat day after day down there.
  22. LOL. Well, in fairness to that Iggles fan's post, the Bills did successfully break out the vaunted No Huddle attack against Randall Cunningham's Eagles for the first time during the 1990 season, so...there's that to support the statement that "The Bills always give us a hard time."
