  1. Belly has injected him with a rare avian bird flu strain previously unknown to scientists at the CDC, passed along by contact with pigskin. This seems like the most likely explanation.
  2. At the end of the day we all bleed Buffalo, that’s what counts!
  3. Funny, he also became Howard Dean’s campaign manger/public speaking coach after that!
  4. Royale, I never had you pegged as originating from the London docks! Blimey
  5. Just flip the love/hate parts, and then we totally agree!
  6. Someone needs to get on the horn stat, and let this good lad know there’s an invention out of Western NY from this guy, which may be helpful in future?
  7. To think that Kelly never had the raw athleticism that Allen brings to the table, such that Allen even coming close to the pocket production of Kelly plus Allen’s rushing element, wowza he will then take over the franchise record books no doubt!
  8. Bingo. I could deal with it too, if for no other reason than to say we are replacing NE’s run of AFC championships—and it would be fun to daydream for 2 weeks thereafter on this board!
  9. And that the oddsmakers are spotting them basically a TD worth of points? Talk about getting no respect, lol. Dallas is 6-5. Let that marinate for a bit .
  10. I don’t disagree with the OP’s take re personnel matchups and how we fare vs Baltimore on that front; the real worry I have is how are we going to break San Fran’s D in the Super Bowl?
  11. Git r done Beanie!!! (Am I spelling that right?) except, please don’t.
  12. Agreed; small point of order—the twisting knife usually made its appearance a bit earlier, like say, around halloweenish? That’s partially why this team feels different than previous drought stricken rosters...now let’s take it to Jerry’s world—nothing would make Thursday feel better than to watch that guy get embarrassed on national TV.
  13. The bright lights of Dallas somewhat concern me as we always seem to find a way to lose gloriously in Primetime through the years (I say only somewhat as we have the Beasley X factor returning to D looking for a statement game), but I actually feel really good about the Ravens game—our D has plenty of experience going up against a versatile weapon at QB, right? And I think the individual matchups favor us more than the pundits may realize there. Steelers/Jets is just taking care of our ‘bidness’ type games that are on the table for the taking. So in summary...LET’S GO!!!!!!
  14. As is usually the correct answer, run more no-huddle
  15. Hopefully his hangover continues through our rematch at the end of the season as we coolly collect our 13th win...
  16. LOL, the WGR postgame calls that just started are priceless ; you can tell the callers pride themselves on tying one on while holding in the queue. Carry on!!
  17. Agreed; love where Jim basically goes pshaww, we didn’t worry about who we were playing, low scoring or not, pedal to metal was the driving theme—I think Allen after this past week is taking that lesson to heart, or hope at least
  18. Sorry, thought you were describing the metro ATL area
  19. You’re clearly never a lost cause Mr. Chandler!
  20. He has the makeup of a winner in terms of his character, drive and willingness to learn/take constructive criticism. Give him the time to put it together and we are looking at something really special pairing with his physical skillset.
  21. I hope he goes back to NE—then implodes just in time for, say, the divisional playoff game on short notice
  22. This is sad on so many levels to say the least, and goes to show that fame/fortune fix no one whose bent of mind is not good to begin with.
