  1. At least ask the folks to identify in what season the pic was taken...for the record, the Bills sported these uni patches during the ‘94 season, the outlier forgettable campaign ending in 7-9 before they bounced back in ‘95 to give us our last franchise playoff win to date!
  2. Can’t wait to see what presents Beane provides for the O this offseason—I fully expect additional growth from our young QB accordingly.
  3. I’m not saying you should pick up the tab Tony, but I don’t have a free hand left to grab my wallet...
  4. And each of those have to play us—I doubt we’re circled as the guaranteed “W” on anyone else’s schedule anymore.
  5. I trust this was vetted with TB12 beforehand?
  6. I get all that. My point was one concerning personnel judgment and who to take at what pick. The Bears or anyone picking before our orig slot could’ve snagged Mahomes just as easy. But it does help to provide some context does it not? The fact that Mahomes was a diamond in the rough and not a sure bet by any means per the prognostications coming in to that draft, for every FO outside of KC.
  7. I was also shocked that the announcers said there wasn’t a straight line camera angle available to the refs reviewing the KC pylon score that would’ve brought up 4th down if not successful...the NFL brings in double everything for the SB—extra refs on the crew, extra cameras, extra halftime and extra TV timeouts, but someone forgot the goal line camera shot??
  8. Well that does it, no need to watch any games next year, as Tom Bundchen Brady is up again per this table pattern
  9. And who can forget Trent Farris Dilfer?
  10. A bridge too far. Did Flutie put the same hex on the 8 other teams picking before us including the Bears who actually traded UP a spot to ensure they had dibs on Trubisky that draft? Oh, and our ‘crappy’ QB who markedly improved by nearly every objective metric this season just finished his first year as full time starter by leading the Bills to a playoff berth and their first double digit win season (after 6 wins in 2018) since ‘99, but who’s counting? Carry on my good man.
  11. A bit of schadenfreude on the ATL sports talk market down here will be in order tomorrow methinks—another lead Shanahan couldn’t close out in the SB...with his history of when 28 points wasn’t enough of a spot, am surprised by his approach going into the half. SF not being able to respond at all once KC started scoring was very surprising to see given how the game had been flowing up to that point with 8 min left in the game.
  12. I will pretzel logic this to mean each of us holding a fan card through the drought deserves an individual ring as well. I can get behind this!
  13. 28-18 SF. A solid D game plan has wrecked many a high flying O coming in to a championship game—and I have a feeling that the otherworldly O from KC is going to experience a similar fate this year; shades of our own K-Gun experiences....
  14. This becomes a much easier road to COY if we win the Houston game—thus breaking a schneid going back to 95!
  15. PSL concept—ok, you want me to first purchase this package over here for the right to pay you more for season tix later...got it, sounds like I’m coming out ahead! With Atlanta being such a transplant hub of folks moving here from out of state, I’ve always felt like the Falcons don’t engender the type of “hometown” enthusiasm that most NFL franchises would take for granted, again, just imho. I’ve never once had anyone say a negative word to me around town whilst rocking an Allen jersey or other Bills gear—quite the opposite in fact. Contrast with the Pittsburgh or Philly markets where that would paint a bulls eye...now college football however? That’s a totally different deal down here. You will get looked at sideways for wearing the wrong school jersey.
  16. Toss up for me between Shawne Merriman’s tenure of post-roid injury riddled uselessness, and the on-field presence of Aaron Maybin (off-field I hear good things tho) who stole our 1st round pick in 09 with nary an impactful tackle made on the field in return. Good times! Thanks OP, for the wonderful trip down memory lane
  17. If Palmer were “down” on Allen IRL, then I’d wager that he would just keep his mouth shut entirely and claim confidentiality/client privacy as to methods, results etc. on the topic—instead of waxing poetic the way he is. After all, he’s in business also, to get additional clients, and if he claims success where none can be seen/verified over the span of time said clients are working with him, then why would he bother to highlight his involvement with a ‘busting’ candidate? Just thinking out loud here.
  18. Did it even snow for any of our home games this year? Just sayin.’ I’d bet (going out on a limb here) the weather elsewhere was worse in select northern markets.
  19. ^^^^This—been in my Disney+ queue from day 1, and just got back from Hollywood Studios a few weeks ago so am ready to binge more Star Wars!
  20. For his ST position, yes he does. If punters and kickers can get in, then so should someone who was unquestionably the best at what he did on the same unit. Is that what they say about Ray Guy? And FWIW, happy to link you his highlight reels and then feel free to let us know
  21. Puts life into perspective—tell your loved ones you love them and take a moment to reflect on what you have, don’t take each day for granted!
  22. Helmed a playoff bound Bills squad in just his second (first full starting) season, showing marked improvement along the way and primed to come back with a juiced roster and hopefully better weapons at WR. If you can’t see what we the homers see in the intangible department to go along with the above, then, well, continue torturing your numbers to admit to whatever floats your boat
