  1. Small point of order, don’t we need to party like it’s the last time we won AT Pittsburgh in 1992 (Jan. 93 playoff game)? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billboard_Year-End_Hot_100_singles_of_1992 I absolutely cannot fathom that it’s been over a quarter century...it’s go time boys. Time to right some wrongs starting Sunday night.
  2. A loss is a loss, but if it helps set the table/foundation for more wins down the road, I will live with it.
  3. Now this is an off-field NFL story that should get pub for all the right reasons for a change!! Well done sir.
  4. Myles Garrett should receive an honorable mention for coming on strong this season in this category...but to be clear, even though OP specifically wants to hear about players other than Brady, it’s Brady .
  5. Sad. But hardly shocking, and solidifies the fact that NE remains undeterred no matter how many times they have been caught in the act/sanction in terms of their cheating/pushing the envelope to the 'nth degree. Which in turn further adds yet another asterisk to their otherwise historical run of dominance.
  6. Any given Sunday--of course I'm concerned, they [Steelers] have been punching above their weight class for weeks now. But is it the best I've ever felt about going to Pittsburgh in basically forever nonetheless? Yes.
  7. Well now that’s unfortunate that he was any good.
  8. Too soon. The Challenger explosion—that one sticks out to me as a youngster
  9. Or Tony Eason? I’d wager many Patsy fans don’t even realize they had an existence as a mostly crappy franchise reminiscent of the Cardinals or Lions, pre-Bledsoe/Brady. Well durn, I almost can’t remember that either now
  10. This mirrors my experience as a teen at 3Rivers, had my awesome Bills hat stolen by some drunk Steelers fans AFTER already suffering through the Monday night debacle that was the game—talk about classy.
  11. I’m too lazy at the moment to look this up, but does an action animated pic of Jauron on the sidelines for the Bills even exist??
  12. Playing the hapless NFC East competition some more in 2 of the last 3 weeks left may just be the cure for what ails them
  13. This would’ve been a great add-on to visiting my fam up in Western Pa, but I can’t get out of town at the moment, similar issues. Plus I’m still traumatized from the last time I ever saw the Bills play at old 3Rivers—the 1993 Monday night beatdown 0-23...I should prolly look at getting into some therapy for that
  14. Agreed; I’m sure he brings a lot of locker room intangibles to the table/mentoring Singletary, but in terms of a weapon, there’s no contest. He got his all time record, now let’s focus on getting Singletary his late season touches
  15. Eric Wood on the radio call was making the same point, virtually pleading for the Bills to run some screen plays, after noting the first time It was called in the 2nd half—I really don’t understand how you come from the NE tree where they love running that type of crap all day to make aggressive pressure pay, and get rid of the ball quick
  16. Outfitted with or without a transistor radio? Make that WiFi enabled so you can catch Schopp’s postgame gems?
  17. Post of the day. But what about his D guru bro? What a conundrum that sleeping at the office without a shave/shower also couldn’t produce a cohesive plan! Well, the early bird Golden Corral special won’t eat itself, will it?
  18. Get thee hence, voice of reason! No place for you here . Thanks OP, well said...
  19. Bingo—then magically we’ll see more base looks with running lanes for Josh and time for longer developing routes, etc. Donuts, do you expect a significant number of Bills fans to travel to this game?
  20. I also like that the stage on Sunday night shouldn’t be too big either, because of the Jerrah’s World experiences we already passed with flying colors; make no mistake, Pburgh is as tough a place to play as anywhere in the league, especially when the crowd is juiced for Primetime, but I like our chances with the individual matchups we have here. Just solve the pressure package cover zero conundrum please Daboll!!! How about some mesh concepts, screens to take advantage of over pursuit, etc—but they need to be soiling themselves over there too, to be facing our D against the Duck, who is going to be running from an angry front 7 of the Bills...
  21. 13-3 remains reserved for our SB caliber 90’s teams, as much as I hate to admit that. However, we are at least 1988 or 1992 good imho. That was a 12-4, 11-5 squad respectively, and deep runs for both...yes, we can hang with anyone, and a few breaks more go our way...we are priming for seriously good things coming Buffalo’s way in the next year +, to say nothing of getting to the playoffs this year, which will make 2/3 for this regime and counting.
  22. He was already lights out being able to cover in obvious passing situations, but it’s been great to see development against the run, which should be an MLB’s staple, and will truly seal this kid’s ascent to our Defensive QB; don’t forget he was starting in the league while guys his senior were still playing college ball...just sayin’
  23. He had precious little help brother. And we were still in position to tie at the gun. I hope you gave him some credit on the play before where by rights any other QB would’ve dropped for 25+yard loss?
  24. Our pass blocking schemes left something to be desired to say the least
  25. If special teams mean nothing in a game’s overall trajectory, then your take would be correct. Otherwise, as one of the best to have played ST’s, including getting rules changed around him, his accolades are richly deserved. Side note, don’t forget how he seamlessly came on board as a WR at Jim’s behest...just an all around great footballer
