  1. What kind of play calling is this crap right in the teeth of the Steeler D???
  2. Tool Collinsworth—accuracy is his issue, lol re Allen. Meanwhile who just got picked off???
  3. This was definitely more needed than whatever you're supposed to be doing at work on a Saturday ; great analysis points OP! The upshot is if we bring our A game I don't think they will be able to survive what we throw at them on either side of the ball. I didn't realize that in addition to being opportunistic, they've turned the ball over themselves 20 straight games--we need to keep that streak alive, as takeaways are a category we could use some improvement on as well.
  4. Wonder how the 90’s teams drop rates fared in the Rich Stadium winds during the playoffs etc. for comparison?
  5. Sad but true—we’ve been left at the altar too many times to count, but the flicker of hope with this team still burns brightly, and if we pull off the W Sunday night, you’d best believe I’m looking for more than a WC one and done sort of road!
  6. Bilz, I knew Tyrod. I served as a Bills fan during his tenure, and my good sir, Tyrod Taylor is no Josh Allen.
  7. Well, if nothing else, he and Lorax could compare musical playlists from the 90’s. Sure, take a waiver wire flyer on the dude
  8. Is that “git r done Beanie” in the King’s English?
  9. Coming from you good sir, I know that is high praise indeed! Welcome to the "Right Josh" camp, the water's just fine! I spoke too soon.
  10. Yes, my family from back North would probably agree with you. But just think if the snow that fell your way the other day was a driving cold rain instead, wouldn't that have made walking to your car even more miserable?
  11. Why is it that I miss that Yankee Winter Crud every year that I've been in the South? Edit: Today is a great example. It's an all-day rain here, a cold rain in the high 30's--and makes for a miserable commute and walk to the car, etc. If I have to put up with that, why not have the rain be snow instead? That would be more fun for me, imho.
  12. Hmmm...what was McCarron’s alma mater again?
  13. I agree with you to an extent; but I still feel like the only one that truly got away with nary a hope was Washington; Dallas 1 we were leading and due to defensive miscues the Cowboys were able to score 2x in like 5 minutes right after Norton jr takes out Kelly’s right knee with his diving helmet spear fishing move (in today’s NFL can you imagine the sanctions??) in the 1st quarter. If you look at the game it was going swimmingly for us the first 10 minutes including moving the ball with ease and blocking their punt, etc. In Dallas 2, we were still leading until Thurm’s fumble in the 3rd quarter! And there was a deep bomb that Beebe couldn’t hang onto that would’ve buried the Cowboys early. All I’m saying is the game I truly felt we were never in from the start, was the Redskins game, imho. But let’s move on to a brighter day in the here and now!
  14. I feel ya OP; I have Steeler fans as part of my family in Western PA to this day, and is where I grew up just north of Pittsburgh near East Brady from whence Jim Kelly hails...I had to endure my share of grief and Steeler only games on Sundays while my beloved Bills could sometimes on a good day be had from an out of the way station on the AM dial of my stereo if the trade winds blew just right...It’s beyond time to start a new streak, one that establishes a new sheriff in town!
  15. One of my all time fav Bills memories from that run—Steeler killer aka Beebe could not be stopped by physical means, and the Steelers radio play by play crew of Fleming and Cope were beside themselves at how the Steeler D was getting schooled...as if the Bills were out there just playing catch—ah yes, I was a happy camper getting on that school bus full of Steeler fans the next day...
  16. “Some swords are too sharp to be used.“
  17. You must've missed all of @Joe in Winslow's posts around draft time this year I take it? . Or the constant corralling I need to do on him when the subject of Bills alums comes up? Just sayin' your take is a little bit "hot" is all. As along-suffering Pirates fan, this of course solidifies the fact for me that all we are is a glorified farm system for the haves of the MLB world--how many of our erstwhile starters who were nobodies with us, have gone on to fame, fortune and championship teams since they left, since, say, 1992-ish? Yeah, just imagine growing up rooting for the Bills AND the Pirates at the same time...
  18. Arguably the Steelers' run of constant wins over the Bills, especially at home, is basically more impressive than what the Patriots have done to us in terms of longevity--wish I could put my finger on it, but it's just a snakebit town for us. Side note as to the last time we won in Pburgh in the regular season--it was 1975 and the Steelers were in their 70's dynastic heyday, winning another Super Bowl that year too. That year's Steelers team went 12-2, and steamrolled through their division 6-0. Their only "real" loss that year? 30-21 at the hand of the eventual 8-6 Bills, in Week 2 (The Steelers other loss was in Week 14 when all starters were resting against the Raiders). Think about that for a minute--the Bills put up 30 points at 3 Rivers against one of the best D units the league has ever seen! Hope springs eternal for this Bills fan...even if I had to reference a game that occurred prior to my even being a twinkling in my dad's eye https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1975_Pittsburgh_Steelers_season
  19. Well good sir, kindly give me just a New York minute to come up with a lot of good reasons for why you’re so wrong...But first, is that a pile of smelling salts I see over there??
  20. Just curious why you decided to go with an avatar name of a guy you hold in such high regard? Was “wrong josh” already taken? on a side note, and totally off topic, but what did you think about his performance under the bright lights of Jerry’s World?
