  1. Maybe McBeane should be scouting a camp location here? ? https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/apr/16/coronavirus-point-roberts-geography
  2. From this morning, and mind this is from a Patriots fan blog, so take it with a grain of salt. What say you--should we be worried Belichick is ahead of the curve again on D? https://www.patspulpit.com/2020/5/13/21256908/new-england-patriots-positionless-defense-copeland-phillips-dugger-uche-nfl-draft-free-agency
  3. That was my first thought too—last year went up to Spartanburg, this year if they came to the A, would’ve been even more fantastic, social distancing notwithstanding...
  4. Was that the loudest crowd ever or what?
  5. is somebody calling from a walkie-talkie? 2, 4, niner five...
  6. My bad, that was the 1990-1993 super bowl run; I’ve edited for total, your compilation makes more sense to present
  7. I believe this is the next movie you need to watch when you get a chance, Joe
  8. I for one hope that Josh eclipses Kelly on the field, which in turn would equate to better than...(takes a deep breath) 101-59 regular season record; better than Elway numbers in almost every metric at the time of his retirement [better completion percentage, better average gain per attempt, better touchdown percentage and better passer rating]; 14-8 head to head record against Dan Marino [3-0 in the playoffs]; 23 fourth-quarter comebacks and six other winning drives that broke a fourth-quarter tie. Former Dallas Hall of Famer Roger Staubach, famous for his comeback heroics, also finished his career with 23 fourth-quarter comebacks; https://buffalonews.com/1997/02/12/the-numbers-put-kelly-in-same-tier-with-marino-elway/; pro-football reference has it as 21 4th Q comebacks and 28 game-winning drives https://www.pro-football-reference.com/play-index/comeback.cgi?player=KellJi00 Also, it should be noted that NONE of the following fellow HOF QB's ever made it past Kelly when playing head to head in the playoffs: Marino, Elway, Moon & Montana. I'm happy to dig out more in defense of Jim's pedestal, but my overall point is that we should be so lucky if Allen surpasses Jim's actual on-field metrics, W/L #'s!
  9. I consider you the keepin' it real voice around here when folks such as myself get carried away by the 90's nostalgia...
  10. Embarrassment of riches I suppose
  11. Does special teams get its own mountain? If so, then I'm going Tasker and Christie (honorable mention, Frank Reich, holder)--but who would round that "3rd phase of the game" group out for us?
  12. Per usual you roll a strike—Brady out the door deprives us one last time of winning closure, such that Belichick’s inevitable regression to the mean won’t be quite as sweet...contrast that with Don Shula (RIP), who kept the gentlemanly stiff upper lip whilst taking it on the chin in the 90’s, after he first owned the Bills in the 70’s...now we can all remember him fondly as a result
  13. Brady got out while the getting was good, imho. If ever there was a year that had his downfall in the division written all over it...
  14. RIP Coach, condolences to his family. Bills/Dolphins was usually appointment viewing when he and Marv were coaching, good times. Some of my favorite Bills memories are from those games.
  15. JK was my hero on the field and although I didn’t think it possible, now even more off the field. So glad my (and his) hometown Steelers missed out on drafting him in ‘83! I grew up a stone’s throw across the river from East Brady Pa where he’s from, and this welcome sign into town always left a lasting impression on me as a youngster, and sparked my lifelong fandom for the Bills—so thanks for that Jim!
  16. Sorry, you may have missed these. Feel free to catch up at your leisure.
  17. This guy might be shocked
  18. So this is what FO competency looks like! Also great guy in person, that’s the complete package. No complaints from me if we could get his deal done sooner than later. Also goes for McD, imho
  19. Just made the mistake of opening up the EJ thread—wow I’d almost forgotten just how bad the QB class of 2013 was “in toto.” Still grates all these years on what a reach that was in the 1st round...
  20. This was the first ever internet browser I remember using my senior year of high school/frosh year of college. Then Microsoft explorer sent it the way of the dodo bird eventually...
  21. I was always sad about this one—I liked this stuff!
  22. Phonetically it may work with certain dialects?
