  1. Great post OP! Now we need a comparison thread for what Rex’s typical day/approach looked like as Bills coach, for contrast...
  2. And yet it’s precisely the QB’s on a carousel who get paid as the most at the time their K’s are up, “becoming king for a day” (see below) almost without regard as to whether or not they’re actually worthy of the title, so I hope Josh actually will be worth it at that time. I’m optimistic he’s well on his way. https://www.theringer.com/nfl/2019/1/2/18164980/nfl-playoffs-quarterbacks-salary-cap-kirk-cousins-patrick-mahomes https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/04/16/quarterback-market-has-exploded-in-less-than-two-years/amp/
  3. Quick, start a segment to poll the callers as to favorite covid-themed fantasy football team names?
  4. Shawne Merriman. Oh wait, I thought you meant favorite always-injured-underperformers-courtesy-of-Buddy Nix?
  5. Definitely the one that got away, where we snatched defeat from the jaws of Super Bowl glory...however, still proud of our 90’s run, talk about a team that refused to quit and stay down on the mat—not even the mighty Pats dynasty ever matched 4 AFC titles in a row. Oh, and I don’t think that [insert name of your fav Bills QB here] ever had this happen to him on a golf course :
  6. But he was the last Bill on the field to contribute ‘another’ reason, and most visible. Had he made the kick, the narrative would’ve turned to the Bills did just enough when it mattered, in all 3 phases of the game.
  7. The thought crossed my mind lol, although maybe we have smarter players on par?
  8. The thing is, I would be more in your camp if it were a true statement that Josh hasn’t been showing consistent improvement over the average course of his starts—and I think it’s safe to say that on balance he continues to improve overall. That is why an arbitrary number of 3 doesn’t hold water for me in Josh’s situation. Those who would either flame out or stay where they are by definition couldn’t be showing consistent improvement, right? It’s a simple exercise in logic, imho.
  9. Take it back! Tweedledee and Tweedledum will pedal right over there to set you straight!
  10. Definitely lights out for Ventura College!
  11. ^^^^This. The low probability only serves to heighten the drama/elation when it does work.
  12. Who here really thinks the new combo will be worse than the afternoon insufferability of Schopp & the Bulldog? I will go on record as an out-of-towner saying I will miss the current OBL show, but will give Brown and Glab a chance (I think we will get manifestly deeper day to day Bills content from the insider Brown as added benefit), as they deserve at least that in this new forum. But if I had to replace Murph, I prolly would've moved Sal over to anchor the time slot with Brown or Tasker, imho.
  13. Good thing we've got that covered then! That would be this guy who'll be throwing the ball to him for years to come.
  14. No worries, the “girdling” effect of a Federation standard issue uniform belt keeps it all ship shape!
  15. I've noticed this as well, it reminds me to a lesser extent of how Ditka puts together his choppy and half complete sentences. I don't mean this negatively FWIW--and I also agree that he has good perspectives along the way.
  16. Hap, isn't it also accurate to say that the 12-18 month timeline for completing a successful vaccine trial that's been touted since early on in this pandemic, would also represent the fastest overall such result ever? The article below references a more usual time frame of multiple years--granted, that probably doesn't account for the same type of world simultaneous pandemic urgency? Still, 18 months is being awfully optimistic that nothing at all goes off-script, right? https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/other/a-coronavirus-vaccine-in-18-months-experts-are-skeptical/ar-BB11Yzjh
  17. Ok, ok, the title may have been a bit of clickbait--everyone knows there's no way Shatner's suiting up for reals on the Space-X rocket next week...but wouldn't Kirk docking in at the ISS be something to behold? On a side note, Shatner always struck me as someone who's aged well--he could legit pull off another Trek film installment, imho. https://www.cnet.com/news/star-trek-captain-wants-to-join-nasas-historic-demo-2-mission/ (EDIT: Link to Live Launch Feed)
  18. Team bonding, great to see—and well played Josh, absolutely sold it
  19. This makes me wanna shout!!! Ready for whatever kind of covid-restricted season we’re getting, to finally start!
