  1. Seems like a genuinely good person both on and off the field, and makes it easy to feel proud that he’s the face of our program—armed with off the charts intangibles and crazy physical tools, will he be the new and improved Kelly of the current Bills iteration? I say with full optimism yes, certainly more so than any of the wretchedly ignominious hall of forgettable non-heroes we’ve trotted out since Kelly imho.
  2. This was pretty much one of the best things I read to make me laugh tonight OP, thanks for that! As a side note another link off the same article led to this gem that prolly deserves its own lol thread: https://sports.theonion.com/adam-gase-warns-jets-fans-not-to-overreact-to-first-60-1845030308
  3. Also have had some luck with this app, it cost a few bucks in the App Store but still cheaper than game pass or Sirius: “Pro football radio & live scores” http://itunes.apple.com/app/id463429991
  4. Sorry to hear this—death of a mother I don’t wish on even a hated football nemesis like BB. RIP and I hope he and his family find peace through their grief as well.
  5. Hopefully our rushing game this week is reminiscent of the Thurminator’s usual stat lines against the Dolphins—he owned that franchise! And of course congrats on the OSU honors, he deserves to be 1st in line!
  6. Would this be like the Madden curse or SI cover?
  7. Yikes I didn’t register that at the time but if so that’s a terrible look.
  8. I for one, in my little fiefdom bubble of Billslandia down here, have declared today a public holiday complete with meatloaf for dinner-feast and only positive feedback from the citizenry permitted. Carry on!
  9. So many "lowlight" reels say hello .
  10. Super Bowl or bust this year!!! Great start, got some things to clean up of course (rushing, ball security come to mind), but overall so much more good than bad—and lifting of the 300 yd monkey also well deserved! But Fitzy is already leaning into the bad parts of his spin cycle, loves him some INT’s—we need to capitalize on that next week.
  11. Order’s in. One for me to njoy with the kids, and one for the memorabilia safe place on top of the fridge alongside the 1999 edition Flutie Flakes, lol . Those of you with young uns will understand the strategic placement.
  12. If you’re about to be a made man, remind me not to get on your bad side!
  13. What, you don’t like ice cream???
  14. Happy birthday to you on a (hopefully) winning opening game weekend—Thanks for all you do for us!
  15. Given the volume of threads & posters over the past 2 seasons who question his franchise qb long term viability, I’m not sure how saying “everyone” gives him a free pass, as a blanket statement, is even remotely supportable.
  16. Grasping at straws to undercut the overall strength of our roster---I like that's where we're at now!
  17. You are right, but I would optimistically point out that none of those teams are looking forward to their game with us as a penciled-in W on their schedule; to the contrary, we are more than likely looked on as a tough "out" who could take the win just as easily after the final horn. I do take some comfort in that!
  18. It's all in good fun man--I wouldn't want you to stop piping up around here--at least you're consistent and willing to argue substance (even if you're wrong ) as compared to drive-by posting then disappearing if the hot take is challenged.
  19. There will always be covid opt outs and fallouts though to provide a ready disclaimer in the event we do very well this year, right?
  20. A bridge too far . I refer you back to my post concerning the overall strength of the Steelers D and the home field advantages they’ve enjoyed over us since the Juice. But by all means since it fits the narrative that the Bills didn’t legit earn their way into the playoffs last year, continue to discount the W.
  21. in 2019, they ended up #5 total ranked D, and were #3 against the pass. Yep, pretty good D, that one. Also, first time the Bills had won in Pittsburgh during the regular season since OJ's tenure in the early 70's...and this one was in primetime no less, where the Bills historically have been middling at best. So yes, this still counts as an impressive win, Hodges or not.
