  1. Depends--are we talking with a butter knife that prolly smushes the piece down before it can actually finish the slice? If so, then whoa, sliced bread is quite a game changer.
  2. Definitely a more difficult category than which drought player would you least like to add to this roster?
  3. Gray facemasks need to go, imho. The white ones make for a much cleaner uni look, imho. I'll refrain from my usual mantra of bring back the red helmets. Ultimately tho, just win and who cares which uni combos they're wearing!
  4. Whatever mammal produces Polish sausage. 2:50 mark:
  5. Wow. These guys are making a difference on and more importantly, off the field.
  6. Yes it is true. "Rich Stadium" is included in the name "Rich Stadium South" of course!
  7. His trash talk must’ve been really epic, since Marino’s road usually ended with a face plant on Rich Stadium turf...
  8. Except I’m not sure where the Jets expect to find 3 wins this year? 🤔
  9. The original “feel the Bern?”
  10. IIRC, unlike the MLB HOF, off field issues aren’t supposed to be a determination of eligibility by the voters?
  11. OP, you're just not eating the right bread if you don't like the ends, is all I'm sayin'.
  12. Standing on the eve of clinching the AFC East, here's a blast from the past when this was still routine for us--December 17th, 1995. Miami at Buffalo (who we would play again 2 weeks later in the WC round, to also nab our last playoff victory), final result 23-20 Bills, moving us to 10-5 on the year and our 10th division title overall. I'm linking to the game highlights as well as full game, enjoy another squish of the fish! Highlights Full Game
  13. How sweet is it to discuss top seeding scenarios as opposed to, "in the hunt" for the last WC spot, gasping in on playoff odds calculator fumes so to speak? Answer: sweeter than whatever this goodness is...
  14. Colin, much like a broken clock, is right 2x per day, this take happens to be one those times. . Or he's a blind squirrel who stumbled over an acorn...either way... You get it.
  15. Thanks for the link—a must for regional history buffs!
  16. Thanks Virgil, I echo the sentiments upthread, I kept searching under your name as you and Shaw are postgame must-reads around here! Keep up the good work!
  17. Will say it again, am thankful for the mods and generally well behaved contributors of TBD. The Jests cesspool over there makes PPP look like a Mensa convention of civility and insight.
  18. In 14.5 games' worth of action! (Missed most of both Colts' games that year)
  19. Makes sense--and I'm sure a lot of DB's don't want to get their shoulder pads dirty--but wow, I'd love to see this happen more often.
  20. Wonder why we don't see this more often then? With D advantages whittled down like they are, you'd think D coordinators, esp. those playing say, the Chiefs, would be all over this?
  21. I'd wager nobody's happier than Jim to finally see this coming still in his lifetime--and what's not to love about Josh? He sure seems to go about his business the right way, on and off the field!
  22. Could we do this to the Pats' WR's, all of them, all game?
  23. Wow---whole new meaning to the phrase "bump 'n run" coverage--I had no idea this could be a legal thing anymore in today's pass happy league!
  24. I'm afraid you're right--actual footage of Dabs' agent right now...
  25. My favorite column of the year from you so far, OP. Great work, thank you!! The nugget you threw in there, "The win mathematically eliminated the New England Patriots from the AFC East race" = icing on the cake for us!
