  1. Waiting for the we coulda had Frank Reich threads to start
  2. Best thing on the interwebs this week by far!!!
  3. Uggghhh....that's a lot of days--almost inconceivable. Would anyone here have believed it back in the day when we basically dominated the 90's?
  4. What is this "open paper" thing you speak of?
  5. Could not agree more. What else can the Colts do but stick with the best (only) tools in their toolbox, just as the Giants did in SB XXV? The notion that Frank isn't pondering the exact same scenario is not realistic. Like you said, he was an eyewitness on the sideline to that outcome. However, a few things we have going for us that we did not for that Super Bowl: (1) A strong kicker playing lights out with his FG's; (2) Bills coaching staff knows the same things we armchair types do on this thread and can gameplan accordingly; (3) Colts D is not as strong as that Giants team was, meaning better chance we come away with points per drive/extend the drives we do have. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/nyg/1990.htm https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/clt/2020.htm Oh, and we're due!!!
  6. Funny how naming rights fired back up as soon as the Bills find themselves back in national title contention! 😂 Did anyone mention Wegman's yet?
  7. I like it!! This made my afternoon. Bring on gametime!!!
  8. But Kelly basically was his own OC on the field by virtue of the no-huddle; I’m not sure the OC did that much in game type calls, at least during the Marchibroda years (Bresnahan a different story). On a side note, stumbled across interesting 2014 piece comparing OC calls vs QB playcalling through the years: https://49ers.pressdemocrat.com/coach-or-qb-you-make-the-call/
  9. Good call on a good look! https://auburnpub.com/sports/football/why-bills-qb-josh-allen-wore-panchos-army-jacket-to-sundays-game/article_d36df33f-37ea-5509-9821-a41b8ccd3886.html
  10. The Leap heard round the world in 2018 did it for me--a QB so willing to do whatever whenever necessary to help out the team, was always going to be something special.
  11. The Beas as Spider-Man is right out of central casting lol 😂
  12. Begs the question what's preferable--going to the dance many times and always coming up short, or never getting to go again at all? It's funny, but only in the NFL could some talking heads call the Bills 'lovable losers' for going 4 times and losing all, but which actually means they had to win many more games inc. AFC Championships than Danny boy to ever get there, whilst Marino is normally not referred to as a choker or loser--this would actually apply to any great QB who's never been or only went once, etc...
  13. As far as updates, I did find a youtube page where Cade does a segment "Chat'n with Cade" from earlier this year with none other than our own Jordan Palmer, and has some other interview segments on this page as well--good for him!
  14. Spot on per usual, Donuts. Tomorrow is never given. Ask Danny Marino, unquestionably one of the best ever, how long his drought wound up being after making it to the SB in his 2nd season?!! Once the Bills got up to speed with Kelly, Marino's road never made it past Buffalo. Yet, at the time he was expected to make it multiple times, just as we expect Josh to crush all opposition on his way to the big show many times in his career...
  15. The fact that Josh wasn’t just pulling a PR stunt with a feel good story for a news cycle and then on to the next so to speak, says volumes about the type of person and character he maintains—no one would’ve prolly called him out for anything if it just suddenly was gone one day, but yet he keeps it on, knowing it also means something to Cade and his family I’m sure.
  16. Wish we could get an update from somewhere—maybe @YoloinOhiohas a source or 2? 🤔
  17. Just another reason to love our still loyal-to-his-word QB! Haven't seen this updated anywhere, but thought it was pretty cool that you can still see Allen wearing his blue & white NEGU ("never ever give up") bracelet this season on his throwing wrist (an example pic from the Pats game a couple weeks ago is also below), several years after the background story first came out--for those of you who may not know or remember, I'm reposting the archived thread with the story links. Worth your time.
  18. I hope you didn't get suckered into springing for the extended electronics warranty?
  19. I think the Jets should petition the league to leave the East, and jump ship to the NFC East, where at least they would've stayed in contention for a division title until what, week 8 or 9 even this year? Facing a monster in Buffalo, wily coyote Hoodie in NE, and a Miami team that's on the rise even after Sunday, the next few years aren't looking so good...
