  1. Our 90’s no huddle was an offensive identity, not a gimmick imho. Prolific is the word that best describes it!
  2. Non Bills: -Purdy regresses and 9ers won’t make it out of the wild card round this year; -Jets will field a heroic march to 6-11, Saleh will be done on or by Black Monday; -Texans will grab the #2 seed but won’t make it to the AFCCG; -Watson will not play a full season in Cleveland. Bills: -Josh takes MVP this season; -Curtis Samuel will lead the team in catches, yards and receiving TDs.; -Von will play in no more than 10 games; -Hyde will be back with the team in some capacity no later than Week 13.
  3. 4mer, I just don’t understand the argument that Josh is in anyway ok with, tolerates or doesn’t get PO’d by losing—have never seen him after a loss and thought, there’s someone who’s too OK with losing, imho. If he was, I don’t think he’d put his body on the line every play like he does, hurdling, barreling Dlinemen etc. 🤷‍♂️
  4. Respectfully disagree—I think Josh is hyper competitive and hates losing! Above is just one example…
  5. Time for some Oklahoma drills and gassers to start off the practice week. 🤔 No wait, “bear” crawls!
  6. Or worse! Kelly once broke a DBs leg easier than a bit of tinder after the guy had intercepted Kelly—don’t take a sideline angle against Josh if you do grab a pick Tre! On a total side note, Kelly while not exactly fast, could lay a hit with the best of them, as one of umpteen brothers growing up and recruited as a linebacker by Joe Paterno, lol.
  7. You’re technically right—I was thinking more of the season ending/soul crushing variety of games, but point taken.
  8. We are to Miami what KC’s been for us 🥲. Here’s hoping we smack ‘em both this season.
  9. I don’t think the issue is will he or won’t he still be decent in a few years, rather, will he still be the best at his position/untouchable speed? That’s the bet I wouldn’t want to take as Miami imho, but whatevs. With or without him Allen still owns the Phish. 🤷‍♂️
  10. I see you’re rolling “tiger style”🤔😎
  11. As a former QB bench warmer at the D3 level, I can share that our position coaching staff made it crystal clear that any fumbles/botched snaps (or bad hand off exchanges between RB’s and QB for that matter) were ALWAYS the QB’s fault—even when we all knew they were not. 🤣. But that’s how it would be “scored” in the books, fwiw.
  12. Apologies if already referenced upthread, but how’s Bass been kicking today?
  13. The reason I mentioned that episode is because I feel like we still haven’t gotten a clear answer for the autopsy of what went into it, fwiw. That’s the type of game where any of its participants would include it if writing a memoir imho.
  14. Maybe there’s an actual memoir out there on your list, or it’s never been written—but either way, which one would be a must-read? OP’s initial suggestions (I’m excluding Kelly’s since I already read that one a few times over 🤷‍♂️): -Dan Marino (so I could revel in constant defeat at Buffalo’s hands); -Antonio Brown (everyone likes gawking at car crashes and his stories would have to be epic); -Josh Allen…Duh! -Hue Jackson (how did he manage to swindle/hang on to his tenures so long?) -Dick Jauron (morbid curiosity to see how he would explain punting as an offensive weapon no matter the field position) Eventually getting the behind the scenes story on 13 seconds would be possible? But who is the most likely to accurately dish that disaster? 😳 Some of the 60’s-80’s players would also no doubt discuss ‘roids and bounties galore…the options here are endless!
  15. Can you imagine what Kyle Orton’s bag would look like these days for the drought era Bills? 🤣🤣
  16. We should add a clause to his K that states it will be torn up and re-done after every other QB signs a deal, to ensure he remains #1 in perpetuity…Terry, time to start fracking again!!! 🤩💰
  17. Just my opinion of course, but I feel like the QB pay scale is utterly divorced from reality on the field, which is obvious when there is almost no correlation to what the actual best QB’s are making—the only litmus test appears to be “what did the last deal look like so we have to beat that.” Will that model remain sustainable over time, and second, how does this not impact the value of striking long term deals where player dissatisfaction almost guarantees such K’s will never be played out to the end? 🤷‍♂️.
  18. we actually don’t know what happened behind closed doors—Allen very well may have let his feelings be known quite plainly away from prying 👀 🤷‍♂️.
  19. Next man (err, coach) up! Unfortunately an OC’s success virtual guarantees a departure, understandably.
