  1. Hey, avoiding a hit is always better than absorbing one! 😁. Plus you gotta love the heart on this guy—that’s all I’m sayin’.
  2. And I won’t begrudge the man a single dime of it—a Buffalo soldier through and through!
  3. Live look-in at the lion trainer Campbell has in mind…
  4. I came of age watching both Kelly and Marino sling it around season after season, and while I certainly don’t begrudge you your opinion of wanting Marino in a “do-over”, I do think it’s fair game to point out that Marino was not exactly playing on the 2020 Jets—his Dolphins teams were primarily coached by one of the best ever in Shula (in fact the best by win total, who also coached the only undefeated SB winner). My point is, if the winningest coach ever could not even with the “best pure passer” ever as many like to call Marino, ever get by Kelly in the playoffs or even boast a better head to head record, what exactly would he bring to Buffalo so they win a SB with QB’s reversed?
  5. But be sure to also ask the Phins fans who together with Marino were owned by Kelly and never sniffed a SB once Kelly came to Buffalo…
  6. I do appreciate that we've been able to have constructive back and forth conversations about this sort of thing without resorting to ad hominem attacks on each other GB, even where we stand on opposite ends of the faith spectrum. You've always been respectful in those interactions.
  7. Still have cold shudders over the state of our WR room in 2017-18...Beane has definitely more than earned his keep in the meantime.
  8. Would strongly recommend re-visiting "The 4 Falls of Buffalo" as well as "Elway to Marino" and "Dan Marino" for some more in-depth storytelling on both of these HOFers and their respective on-field prowess. ESPN may rightfully be criticized for their coverage quality drop off on-air, but these specials were on-point, and very well done, imho. https://www.espn.com/espnplus/catalog/f844e1d2-b60a-4205-9b5e-e583a6a08bf7/four-falls-of-buffalo http://www.espn.com/30for30/film/_/page/elwaytomarino https://www.espn.com/watch/player/_/id/75bccd44-a4aa-43d4-b0c1-0fd19447395d?om-navmethod=espn%3Aglobalsearch%3Aresults
  9. ^^^This!!! May the NE fields lie fallow for the next thousand seasons…
  10. Big news for Doge hodlers after the rough dips since SNL… https://www.marketwatch.com/story/dogecoin-is-coming-to-crypto-platform-coinbase-in-2-months-says-ceo-11620944181?siteid=yhoof2&mod=mw_RHF
  11. ^^^ ^^^the prescient analysis to be found in spades here on TBD has spoiled me rotten to where the talking tv heads in said sports lead-in shows by and large seem ill-informed, at best 😅. At least about our Bills, and that’s really all I care to follow most of the time…
  12. All I want for Christmas is this same jacket!!! 😁
  13. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2943176-urban-meyer-tim-tebow-looked-18-at-workout-according-to-jags-coaches
  14. He started in single A ball like any other long shot. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Tebow
  15. I vote for a good chili—I’d bet they would appreciate that in their neck of the woods 🤔?
  16. Again, he’s objectively not that, based on his actions for good. But if you want to cancel him because you disagree with a random speaking engagement venue, that’s your prerogative. I’m not hating on you, I’m just telling you that taking the measure of a man means taking in the big picture, and on balance it’s really difficult to find fault with what he’s accomplished off the field.
  17. C’mon Gugs, that’s just objectively wrong. You don’t even need to like the guy to appreciate what his foundation is helping to combat in this world and the very real lives he’s helped touch for good and support along the way. https://www.timtebowfoundation.org/ministries/anti-human-trafficking
  18. It’s crazy to me how much vitriol this guy engenders by his very sporting existence—if you think he’ll flame out, great, attack him on the merits of the positional requirements and why he can or can’t meet those—but to rag on him just for who he is off the field when he hasn’t beaten up any women lately or gotten a DUI or whatever else, is weak sauce imho. I just find it hard to believe that a first year head coach who already has plenty of PR with Trevor would make this move just as a stunt. Clearly Tebow showed something at his work out to earn a shot with the Jags.
  19. Should this have been mentioned to the Steelers who lost in the playoffs to him?
  20. Tom Brady is done/falling off the cliff this year… [Insert take your pick of 2013 offseason through—current].
  21. I’m sure the Bills would be happy to let him play that!
  22. Great summation OP! Enjoyed the read and agree with pretty much everything. Also think the Bills would be well served to look at WR for the next pick given our offensive style requiring playmakers at 4-5 wide, and the fact that we need to maintain developing depth at a position we rely on so much to win our games by. Realistically looking ahead, how much longer do we have Beasley and to say nothing of how much more can be squeezed from Sanders? When injuries hit WR’s late, we suffered mightily against KC for it. So I’d be thrilled to get some value at WR today, imho.
  23. “Chasing the Bills” is only scary if you have a QB to back it up with…
  24. Are you willing to say that to Saban’s face? 😁
