  1. So that means better/worse than Ford/Feliciano/Boettger?
  2. That's really cheap, especially for Johnson. Both have around 350k guaranteed, which is not great wrt Mancz, since I hope he will not be good enough to make the roster.
  3. I've seen Ojabo now mocked to Texans in the 2nd and to me that makes ton of sense. As for the Bills, I really expect some combo of WR/OG/CB in first three rounds as a base plan (unless player too good to pass on drops). So we only have to find optimal value. Judging by Tankathon board the biggest problem to find value on these positions is 2nd round, where they have no OGs and very few players on other positions. 1st round is great since we will have probably tons of options either way (Burks/Olave/Willamson/Dotson - Johnson/Green - Booth/Elam/McDuffie/Gordon). 3rd round also seem to have value everywhere. So for me its just a matter of tiers in all positions, drops between them and finding the right combo. My main wish is to find a best guard possible.
  4. Yeah we've heard this before. I'd be shocked if we didn't add FA CB prior draft. Beane is just waiting for Bradbury or for the dust to settle competely and then will sign some cheap vet. Other than that I tend to believe him.
  5. How can it be already underrated?
  6. I use drafttek https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp?RequestTeam=buf but it doesn't matter much. Next years second doesn't get you from 25 to 15, moreso to 10-15 range. And our 3rd and 4th doesn't even get you to end of 2nd, not to mention first. That's total nonsense.
  7. I guess you've never seen any NFL draft value charts. All your trades are totally off.
  8. Giving up next years 1st round for a CB doesn't sound like a good plan to me, and I doubt Beane sees it differently.
  9. Easily. It only depends how much do you want to borrow from future. I am no expert but we are doing just fine right now.
  10. No idea, but right now he is probably looking for someone to organize TBD mock draft
  11. You can never have enough Dukes.
  12. I'd say there is a 90%+ chance that a guy we take in first is on this list.
  13. Because he wants Hall at all costs, has a thread about it, has him in each mock and talks about him in another 100 posts in various threads.
  14. Sportrac has now Keenum in violet (which is very rare) with the following comment: Player can void the 2022 year with a $3.5M payback. Anybody knows what that means? It sounds like he can give us $3.5M back and find a better deal if he wants.
  15. Yeah, much better, and as anticipated. So right now after already counting all rookies we have imo cap space of 2,5M minus cap hits of Phillips and Lawson, which I assume will be around 4,5M together. Or, in other words, we are exactly at zero right now and need to make room for rookies (ca 2,2M). Plus room for any FA we intend to sign, which I guess is at least cheap CB and maybe G.
  16. You mean slighly better than you expected when you heard that we had signed Jones or the structure is better than expected after you heard 14/2? In other words, do you think we got value here? EDIT: Nevermind you wrote "bigger" not "better" So that answers my question.
  17. So Sportrac says we have 2,1M cap space right now, and it has already corrected OJ Howard and only relevant guys not accounted for are Lawson and Phillips. If my math is correct for draft picks we need almost exactly 2,2M (counting top 6 picks, cap hit will be actually lower if more picks make the roster). So we are imo sitting at exactly ZERO right now, but that is with TOP 51 (like I said I have no clue what's the point but that's the way it is). Full roster is 53 so our total cap space right now should be negative in the exact amount of Lawson's and Phillips' contracts, which both might imo range from 1M to 3M (there might be some void years too). I assume their total cap hit is somewhere around 4M. So we need one more restructure just to fit them, Maybe it has already be done with Case Keenum contract - I saw some confusing info that Browns already did some work with it (its not reflected by Spotrac, which has him at 6,1M cap hit), and if not, I guess Beane will do something. So my guess right now is that one more restructure is coming to accomodate CB FA. I can't imagine going to the draft with just what we have on roster. I am also exepcting to sign some guard FA in coming days.
  18. Yeah it is really interesting that Sal doesn't know that (or doesn't care enough). Or maybe he is right and sportrac wrong but I doubt that. Anyway, let's hope that he will be worth the contract. Cap hit next year is quite big for 1T DT and we essentialy can't cut him if he doesn't perform year one - or we can, but with brutal dead cap, numbers are almost the same as wtih Star this year.
  19. He better be good, since report were true and he really gets 14/2 almost fully guaranteed. His cap hit next year is 8.5M with 7M dead cap.
  20. Are you sure you wanted to react on me with this? I only commented on you saying that we need 8M cap space for draft picks and explained that its not 8M but less than 3M. Thats all.
  21. Bolded is wrong. Draft picks cost less than 3 together. You can't count their cap hits, you need also to subatract cap hit of player they are replacing. So in reality only first and second rounder cost more than 0.3M or so.
