  1. Lol you won. Well done.
  2. Oh "chip on the shoulder" strikes again. Hate that phrase.
  3. Lol Walker it is.
  4. Travon Walker? I'll see it when I believe it.
  5. Ok that is certainly possible. Really depends how they see those OTs and how risky they find that Panthers trade down. Agreed. I didn't realize that there were no trades in this mock. If those guys are falling Bills might be active. This is what I am worried about. I'd hate if Chiefs somehow jump us and take somebody we wanted to draft. And that is certainly possible given how much draft capital they have. I just don't want them to get some top WR or another top player who will be falling because everybody else will have different needs.
  6. I think Tremaine Edmunds would be ecstatic if we drafted Hall. Imagine how less attention he would get from the Bills fans!
  7. Great work as always. My random thoughts. 1. I like how you sorted it out in top 10. I still refuse to believe that Jags take Walker but they are the Jags afterall. 2. I think if top 4 goes like and the Giants want Stingley+OT then it makes more sense for them to pick their OT first and select Stingley at 7. Do you think that Panthers are a threat to take him? Or do you think there is a threat that somebody might jump to take Stingley? That would be costly for a CB. However, if they don't care which OT to take then yes, just take Stingley and let the rest figure itself out (and they still might have chance to choose from them). 3. I like your Smith pick to Eagles. Something like this happens every year and he is a good cadidate for an unexpected jump. 4. If Williams was still on the board at 18 I wouldn't hesitate to offer 3rd round this year and something extra to Eagles to trade up. Same with Saints (which probably wouldn't work if they want him). But Eagles might bite. That is actually one of my dream scenarios. 5. I have a feeling that Cards will do some random selection. It will not be anybody expected. 6. Booth to the Bills at 25 is still my most favorite semirealistic scenario. Please make it happen in 12 hours and 25 minutes 7. I truly appreciate that you let go that crazy idea of Tom Brady Buccanneers drafting QB in the first round you had before However, they imo take either Green or some DL - my guess is Logan Hall. 8. I like who you mocked to Chiefs. They are drafting lot of players high, and if Moore and Mafe is the best what they can do, then great. I am afraid that they will do a lot better in real draft. 9. Cincy takes Kenyon Green if he is available. I doubt that they take corner if they can bolster OL by a prospect expected to go higher. 10. I love Lions picks. I wish them the best, they deserve some success. Hutchinson + Watson? Yes please.
  8. Wow after watching this I want us to draft Garrett Wilson. What and nice and well spoken guy (other two are also very fine).
  9. Yeah I immediately knew this was just badly disguised Edmunds thread!
  10. What's up @GunnerBill. Still trying to figure out how to avoid mocking us Breece Hall at 25 huh?
  11. Yeah good morning everyone. Here in Central Europe it is 12.45 p.m. right now (Noon), so draft starts at 2am. Another night without any sleep Usually I take day off next day but this year I am switching jobs soon so I don't have to work at all. Draft is better than Superbowl and Christmas combined. Really looking forward next 3 days. Good thing is that I am always optimist when it comes to Bills so I'll get excited even if we draft Breece Hall I always try not to get attached to specific players so I can't be dissappointed. That being said, give me somehow Jameson Williams or Andrew Booth. Go Bills!
  12. Ok I just checked final mocks on NFL.com. Daniel Jeremiah, Bucky Brooks, Charles Davis, Maurice Jones-Drew and Peter Schrager are all mocking Breece Hall to the Bills. That leads me to a conclusion that in no way, shape or form are Bills drafting Hall at 25. That is just not the way Beane operates. There is absolutely no chance that all these guys can guess correctly what he will do. I love how good he is in creating smoke. I am ready to eat crow I am wrong but I won't be.
  13. Granted I have no inside information but I can imagine that all those talk about possibly taking Ettiene was just smoke and mirrors from Beane (and yes it includes luring Ettiene into thinking he could be drafted by the Bills). That allows other teams to consistently think we are high on RBs and that we want to draft one high, and then do something completely else like we always do. I think we will see it this year. Hall will be there when we pick, and we will not choose him. Instead, we will (in absence of better options) choose someone like Gordon or Hill. I am not saying that we will never draft a RB high, but Beane is NOT drafting a RB who is around 40-45 on most boards at 25. There is a great chart in another thread how in general overdrafting players in the first round usually pans out. Beane is just too smart for that. We will see.
  14. His contract details are on Sportrac. 1,750,000 cap hit 400,000 dead cap https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/david-quessenberry-12458/ So not a minimum contract like Hart, Mancz or Boettger. Seems like he has a bigger shot on making a roster. Right now I'd say it looks like Dawkins-Saffold-Morse-Bates-Brown with Quessenberry, Doyle, draft pick and Ford/Mancz on the bench.
  15. With the 27th pick in the 2022 NFL draft the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Zion Johnson, guard, Boston College. Bucs had two main priorities heading into this draft – DL and IOL. We were strongly considering DT/DE Logan Hall, but at the end of the day, the need to protect a 67-year-old QB and surprising availability of top-rated guard prevailed. We lost both starting guards this offseason – Alex Cappa followed the money to Cincy and Ali Marpet retired while in his prime and, to the big surprise for a couple of his ex-teammates, he doesn’t plan to unretire. We filled one hole by fleecing Bill Belichick, and Zion looks like best candidate to fill the other. Johnson is durable, smart, great teammate and excels in both pass pro and run blocking. Don’t tell anybody but the plan now is to trade up to early 40s for Hall. The Green Bay Packers and @NewEra are on the clock.
  16. I don't disagree with any of this. Just saying that Humphrey seems to be producing on high level. It could've been a different story in Buffalo. I have no idea if he can play guard, but if he does, he would most likely end up in the lineup at least at the end of the season.
  17. Tremaine Edm... Oops sorry wrong thread. Dunno. I can live with anyone. Maybe some CB reach like Elam. But its not going to happen so it's a moot point.
  18. Look I am not arguing that it is not possible. Just not likely. Imo ofc. I don't remember single mock with Steelers taking CB. People are torn on Patriots with lots of LBs, WRs, OL and sometimes CBs mixed in. Possible, but not that likely. I'll give you Arizona, they are a serious threat. But if we want to jump Arizona for Booth, we don't have to go all the way up to 15 or what. Just to be clear, Booth is my 2nd most wanted player after Williams. I would be willing to trade up for him a little if needed. But I do think that it might be worth to gamble a little and stay put if everything goes right. And I would be willing to bet that we are not trading up for him that high.
  19. You're right, he wasn't. But this was because Jets took him twice. In first mock it was @GunnerBill, who is very high on him, and in the second mock Jets took at 16 after trade down. Jets are logical destination is such case. But my observation is that if he is not taken by the Vikings then he is more likely than not being available to us. Teams from Texans (13) to Cowboys (24) rarely take CBs, and if they do, it is McDuffie. I guess (almost) everybody who makes mocks thinks that all those teams have higher needs and/or don't have Booth that high. Which teams do you think are likely to take him?
  20. I am sure there are some Edmunds specific thread out there. But the reason people are being sarcastic here is that Edmunds is by far most discussed subject on these forum for the last two years. So you starting a thread "Let's talk about Edmunds" is sort of funny. If you are really not trolling and feel disrespected the only advice I can give you is don't start a thread on forums until you familiarize yourself with said forums first. EDIT: My take on the topic: Edmunds is not as bad as some posters here are claiming him to be, but he is certainly not a lock to get a longterm contracts. I see 3 options: 1. He gets traded during draft and we draft his replacement. I think this is unlikely since I am not sure McD want to rely on a rookie in an "Allin" year. 2. He plays 2022 on his option and is traded then (for a much lower value). Downside of this approach is that we get next to nothing for him. 3. He gets an extension. I doubt this will happen this offseason. Despite what many are saying, I think McD see his flaws and are not sold on him. And what is more important, we just can't pay everybody. So they will wait and make sure he is worth it.
  21. Same as with the first round of 2021 draft, I think it is interesting to go back and revisit our second round choice. Many of you can see their votes made shortly after the actual pick. Did past year change your mind? I voted Humphrey a year ago and it is hard to see him flourish in Kansas. I have always though that bolstering OLine should be a top priority and he seemed like an obvious option to me at 61. Apparently Basham was way higher on Bills board. I wasn't hating the pick and I am still hopefull that he will be solid player for us for years to come.
  22. With 2022 draft being in two days I think it is interesting to go back and revisit 2021. Many of you can see their votes made shortly after the actual pick. Did past year change your mind? I voted JOK but was totally fine with Rousseau. Looking back I am completely satisfied, Greg was very good his rookie year and I expect him to be better. Not sure how JOK has played except of the stats I can see a those seem fine (14 games / 10 starts - 76 tackles, 3 TFLs, 4 QB Hits, 1,5 Sacks).
  23. Interesting and confusing to me. Why would we want to move up now with both top rated CBs and Williams gone? If the target is Booth he is quite likely to be there at 25. Maybe I am missing something. However, I trust Beane so I'll sit and wait. EDIT: Nevermind, I was missing something. Thanks @Doc Brown.
  24. He means the pick we won't have since we use it to trade up for Jameson Williams?
  25. Cmon I know that Duke Williams wasn't exactly a star here, but listing him as a potential all-time bust? That's not fair!
