  1. Good topic, but I don't think it's fair to laugh at Dolphins fanbase. All fanbases are the same or at least similar in this respect, including ours. There were tons of comments like "If Josh threw this INT like X then national media would eat him alive" over the last few years. I was reading opener thread on Chiefsplanet. When McKenzie caused that INT and Tirico said that it shouldn't be an INT but NHF (Not His Fault), Chiefs fans started screaming how unfair it was because last year Mahomes had several such "interceptions" and nobody had said that it was not his fault. So they are now crying that there is double standard when judging Allen and Mahomes lol. Let's just make sure we don't act that way. People are way too sensitive about their players overall.
  2. Agreed. We need to keep Poyer happy this season, and this was great way to do it. I also hope/believe that this in fact means that they will let him walk after SB season, since I don't think we will be able to pay him following years. I love him as a player but we do have other priorities and you can't pay everyone.
  3. Phillips was great yesterday and you are probably right but I wouldn't underestimate what DaQuan Jones brings. He seemed great vs run and did his job in pass rush too.
  4. Yeah I didn't mean it as a bad thing, just something I realized and didn't expect before the game (Cook/Shakir).
  5. I am not making any conclusions of it but I find interesting that apart from Benford and partly Elam we didn't get anything from rookies today. Cook was net negative, and Bernard (?), Shakir and Spector didn't play.
  6. Well we all knew we won't punt much this season. But I surely didn't think that one of the reasons will be 4 turnovers
  7. Just rewatched it. Great job by Singletary, he made that play possible.
  8. We need to get Davis and Knox involved somehow. Also, did Elam get a snap today? Or it was all Benford? I surely didn't see him.
  9. Miller has 2, Phillips has 1.5. Second was split with Epenesa (and I would credit Jones too if it was possible).
  10. We definitely can run to the left.
  11. Kareem Hunt fumbled on his first snap IIRC and then had a great season. Maybe Cook is up for something like that.
  12. Way too soon to judge but it surely looks that way so far.
  13. I just noticed this too. If Sportrac is right then info from Sal that we get any cap space back next year was incorrect. But I guess Sal might be right and Sportrac just simplified things. Also, do we know if this is final or he needs to stay on the Texans roster (and we get some prorated number if he is cut)?
  14. Lol I thought it was quite obvious that I knew it. I am just questioning whether it makes sense. It sure doesn't to me. All top soccer refereesin Europe are pros. As far as I know NBA referees are pros. I might be missing something but I'd expect NFL referees to be pros too.
  15. I am still confused why their occupation isn't "NFL referee".
  16. His contract is on Sportrac. 1r/$1,272,500 cash, $1,047,500 cap hit.
  17. Which forum do you have exactly in mind? I checked finheaven and they seem to be pretty realistic. There is a thread about their Bills games, and from what I read, most of them are hoping for split, realizing that even that might be a tall order. They consider us top SB favorite in general. https://finheaven.com/threads/expectations-of-bills-games-this-year.373916/
  18. False hope. We will have very same discussions during the season too.
  19. 23 - 20 Rams To be clear I think we go 13-4 on our way to SB but just like last year I think things won't click first game. I mean mainly OL and DL.
  20. Thanks for lot of advice. Esp. thanks for the tip on Letchworth, that looks like exactly what we've been looking for. We definitely stop there. I'll check on your Buffalo tips later today. Great, very useful. Lol thanks MGK. I think I am with you on this. Too old/conservative for the stuff like this. I wouldn't mind seeing it once just walking around, but it is definitely not my cup of tea. I will check out Hammer's lot for sure, even though I don't know anybody from TBD (for obvious reasons). Thanks everybody else for their advice too!
  21. Thanks man. We will come probably no sooner than 4 hours before the game since we will stop in Buffalo before to see something so I guess Hammer's lot will be full by then. But we'll try to park somewhere and walk there. Haha I can see how big it is. But this won't be an issue. The day we fly in we'll rent a car and get out of NY, probably to Scranton, PA, where I booked a room. From there it is just 4,5 hours to Buffalo, so plenty of time to spend almost whole day in Watkins Glen. Same thing on the way back, where we are just looking for a place to stop. So any tips are appreciated.
