I just noticed this too. If Sportrac is right then info from Sal that we get any cap space back next year was incorrect. But I guess Sal might be right and Sportrac just simplified things. Also, do we know if this is final or he needs to stay on the Texans roster (and we get some prorated number if he is cut)?

Lol I thought it was quite obvious that I knew it. I am just questioning whether it makes sense. It sure doesn't to me. All top soccer refereesin Europe are pros. As far as I know NBA referees are pros. I might be missing something but I'd expect NFL referees to be pros too.

I am still confused why their occupation isn't "NFL referee".

His contract is on Sportrac. 1r/$1,272,500 cash, $1,047,500 cap hit. -
Which forum do you have exactly in mind? I checked finheaven and they seem to be pretty realistic. There is a thread about their Bills games, and from what I read, most of them are hoping for split, realizing that even that might be a tall order. They consider us top SB favorite in general. https://finheaven.com/threads/expectations-of-bills-games-this-year.373916/

False hope. We will have very same discussions during the season too.

Predict the Score: Bills vs Rams
No_Matter_What replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall
23 - 20 Rams To be clear I think we go 13-4 on our way to SB but just like last year I think things won't click first game. I mean mainly OL and DL. -
First ever Buffalo home game- MNF against Titans
No_Matter_What replied to McBean's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thanks for lot of advice. Esp. thanks for the tip on Letchworth, that looks like exactly what we've been looking for. We definitely stop there. I'll check on your Buffalo tips later today. Great, very useful. Lol thanks MGK. I think I am with you on this. Too old/conservative for the stuff like this. I wouldn't mind seeing it once just walking around, but it is definitely not my cup of tea. I will check out Hammer's lot for sure, even though I don't know anybody from TBD (for obvious reasons). Thanks everybody else for their advice too! -
First ever Buffalo home game- MNF against Titans
No_Matter_What replied to McBean's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thanks man. We will come probably no sooner than 4 hours before the game since we will stop in Buffalo before to see something so I guess Hammer's lot will be full by then. But we'll try to park somewhere and walk there. Haha I can see how big it is. But this won't be an issue. The day we fly in we'll rent a car and get out of NY, probably to Scranton, PA, where I booked a room. From there it is just 4,5 hours to Buffalo, so plenty of time to spend almost whole day in Watkins Glen. Same thing on the way back, where we are just looking for a place to stop. So any tips are appreciated. -
First ever Buffalo home game- MNF against Titans

Hi there. This year is finally it and my wife and I are coming to MNF vs Titans as our first ever live Bills game from Slovakia in Europe 😊 I appreciate some advice. I found this thread and figured I can us it instead of starting another one. 1. Things to see/do around. Anything worth visiting in wider area? I am talking mainly nature, but anything else might be interesting. We are coming from NYC and plan to stop at Watkins Glen. I’ve been to Niagara Falls in the past and surely check it again. This time I plan to spend more time there, and it seems that Devils Hole SP + Whirlpool SP, as well as Fort Niagara SP are nice place to visit. Anything else? I mean borh around Buffalo/Falls as well as on the way from NYC to Buffalo and back. 2. Things to see/do in Buffalo. Anything what is “must see” in Buffalo itself? Looking for any advice. Any park/museum/building/whatever worth seeing? 3. Wings and football. Sunday before game we’d like to watch other NFL games in some bar and obviously try wings 😊 There is already some advice on these bars in this thread, so just making sure – all these places have lots of TVs and you can watch football there, right? Any special recommendation with this in mind? 4. Tailgating. Just to understand how it works – if I come 3 hours before kickoff, is there a problem to find a parking lot? I guess there are many around stadium, so it is just about distance and price? How much should I expect? And then tailgating – all the parking lots are “open”, so we may just wander around and watch crazy Bills fans? Any chance that we as randoms get offered some wings from fans? 😊 Any advice (even about something I didn’t mention) is appreciated! -
Buck/Aikman and it's not close. Aikman is almost impossible to listen. Drink everytime he says "ball game" and you're dead by halftime.

13-4 We were running bad last year, I assume we will run better (in close games). And we shoud be better team. So despite tougher schedule we will finish 13-4 or 14-3 no matter how hard it is. If I had to guess we lose: - opener vs Rams, something like Steelers last year, OL out of sync, some things not working, some random things going against us - one more game up to 5-2 record after Packers, probably @Chiefs because I can't find another loss I am sure we will crush Titans, beat Dolphins, beat Baltimore and crush Steelers - Vikings, I suspect they return us the favor from 4 years ago and shock us - after that game we get back on track and roll over everybody - Bengals in some nail bitter, leaving us with last loss on our way to SB

Del'Shawn Phillips was also a Bill.

Slighlty OT right now but if I count correctly once everything is said and done, i.e. we sign complete PS, move Stevenson or someone else to IR and sign a punter, we will end up with roughly $1,5M - $2M cap space (if we sign really cheap punter).
-
I think they actually didn't keep either. Stevenson goes to IR which Hodgins couldn't. Hodgins goes to PS again and I seriously doubt he will be poached.

Again, unless I miss something, this doesn't make sense. You don't choose Mancz with $350K dead cap to do this. You choose Kumerow or Ferguson or Cam Lewis who have zero dead cap.
