  1. This. But even if it is not, let's not get crazy on 4&9 when the game is scoreless in early 2nd Q.
  2. Yeah as usual. Let's judge everything after half drive.
  3. No elevations, 4 heatlhy scratches. What a weird feeling.
  4. Jets at Packers is really brutal. Well worth of TNF.
  5. I don't know how to cross quote between threads but this is what you wrote recently: "Today will be the day we remember as the day the Bills began their march to 4 straight Super Bowls victories." And now you are telling me you care about Jets game because they could become a threat for 2022 Bills?
  6. I am probably a weirdo but I am rooting for Jets tonight. I find Rodgers completely insufferable, and I don't mind Jets winning some games. I want Patriots to end up dead last in the division and I see no harm in Jets having some success. They are no competition to Bills at this point anyway.
  7. Were there any elevations announced today? I missed it and I thought it's always day before game, isn't it? I am actually hoping they were none, which would mean that roster guys are mostly ready to go.
  8. Lol I am watching the game right now and this is exactly what I had in mind couple of minutes ago. It should be something like 21 or so.
  9. I "hate" them because they have something what we don't. SB. If we win one, it will allow me to see things differently. That's why I already don't "hate" Patriots. We killed them last year in WC so they became irrelevant to me. Win SB and I won't care about the Chiefs too.
  10. Von Miller - vet rest - limited?
  11. Not sure if we understand each other but I don't think you're right. The rotation isn't necessarily the same. I'll use your example. In both cases, you need to split it into two scenarios for the sake of this argument - depending on where do you actually play those "Division" games (you play 2 games at home and 2 on road). So it goes like this: AFC East: H, H, H (div), A, A, A (div) or H, H, A (div), A, A, H (div) So no matter what, the rotation is still 3 home games and 3 road games. But in AFC North / AFC South scenario it works differently: AFC North: H, A, A (div), A, H, H (div) or H, A, H (div), A, H, A (div). So in this case, depending on specific opponents, there can be real H/A rotation on yearly basis. To give an example - if Chiefs and Steelers end up winning their divisions each year, they WILL rotate home and away games each year in HAHAHA fashion. Same with Chiefs and Browns. But if Chiefs end up playing Ravens or Bengals, it will go HHHAAA. And just to be clear, since there are apparently some posters here who feel the need to ridicule anyone who cares about this topic - I don't think this is an attempt to screw Bills or anything. I just find this part of scheduling very interesting and would love to know why it is working this way.
  12. Bolded is not true. It is only true for AFC East games vs other divisions. All other divisions actually do rotate home/away games within those two years when teams play opponents with the same ranking. However, they do not rotate the way I would expect it, i.e. H/A/H/A, but rather H/A/A/H, which means that it in fact might not be an actual rotation based on specific teams played at home and on the road in those years when teams play complete opposite division. The way it works: East vs South, East vs West, East vs North: Home, Home, Whole Division, Away, Away, Whole Division, rinse repeat South vs North, South vs West, North vs West: Home, Away, Whole Division, Away, Home, Whole Division, rinse repeat As follows from the above, even teams from other divisions can play same opponent 3 times in a row at the same place, but it is not guaranteed - it depends on specific opponent. In case of AFC East, it doesn't matter - as long as end up being at the same place in division as any other team, you'll play them 3x at home and 3x on road. I didn't check NFC, but I guess it works the same there. Well, this is an interesting theory. I appreciate that you did some research and tried to understand how things work. I have 3 comments: 1. Like I said above, rotation is different between various divisions. East is the only division in the AFC which does not rotate games at all. 2. I think you are wrong in the blue statement. They couldn't rotate. I played with it, and I don't think you can make all divisions rotate. Try it and let me know That is why I think it is actually not working this way - it is impossible to do it. 3. Certainly an interesting theory. But I think you ask good question in red and there is an obvious anwser - you'd want to rotate home and away games. It really seems a stretch to me that such thing as you describe would be relevant. How does it matter that you can't host any AFC West team in the same year you play AFC North? It seems really minor to me. Actually, if this was the case, then they should also change how they schedule years when you play complete divisions. We always play Chiefs and Chargers either at home or at road, so we never have a chance to play Chargers on road when we play Chiefs at home. To sum it up, it still remains mystery to me why they use this formula. If you find something out, let me know
  13. @Beck Water Thanks for effort. I keep my own records and I think you have W4 wrong. Prince Emili was elevated, not C.J.Brewer. Easy proof is that it was his head which caused first of Poyer's INTs Also, one technical note, I think you could ommit PS signings. They are just making it little more complicated and are not that relevant. Just mo.
  14. Lol apparently my English sucks. I think that from my posts in this thread it should be more than clear that I understand how it works So my 3rd attempt to write the same thing: I think Virgil understands this, and his question is WHY do we play our AFC West equivalent at home in 2018 and 2019, and the on the road in 2021 and 2022, if much better solution was to rotate these games, so we play our AFC West equivalent at home in 2018 and on the road in 2019 and so on? Can you provide simple answer? My answer is that it is simply not possible to schedule it that way, but it is not very intuitive why and it is not easy to explain.
  15. Formula is clear and simple to the extent that we play AFC West opponent on road in 2021 and 2022 and then home in 2024 and 2025, and so on. But real question which imo Virgil is asking (knowing what I just said above) is why it isn't 2021 home, 2022 away, 2024 home, 2025 away and so on. I guess we all agree that it seems much more logical this way. My answer is that it is not in fact possible to schedule it this way but it is certainly not easy to understand why. Same as above. This doesn't answer Virgils question imo
  16. No offense man but saying that there is a formula doesn't answer Virgil's question at all. He doesn't say we were screwed, he is asking very logical question WHY there is such a formula which doesn't include these games rotating H/A. No link provided here contains actual answer (as far as I know). And the answer is also not trivial imo.
  17. It's really interesting that we are 29 responses in and almost no one tries to answer your question @Rochesterfan tried but I don't think you answered what Virgil's question actually was... Also, formulas linked in this thread do not answer why these games are not rotated home/away. Like you said Virgil 2021 and 2022 are both years when we play KC not because we face entire ACF West, but based on them and us ending on the same spot within our divisions a year before. I agree that common sense is that these games should rotate, but they don't. No matter who the respective opponent from AFC West is, we always play them home 2 years in a row (which in fact means 3 years in a row counting the year when we play the whole division), and then on the road 2 years in a row (3 total). Thing is that IT IS NOT POSSIBLE to come out with schedule rotation which would make all games rotate in home/away fashion. I was smart enough to make a simulation proving this to myself, but am not smart enough to explain it here (I might try if you are really interested though). But trust me on this, you can't do it for all divisions. So as a results, some divisions vs some divisions rotate H/A, but AFC East always has H/H or A/A vs all other divisions.
  18. Hmm I just checked Sportrac and there are couple of things I didn't see posted here: CB Ja'Marcus Ingram no longer on the Bills roster (only 52 players there). S Jared Mayden signed on PS. PS is not that relevant but if Ingram was indeed cut I wonder what that means.
  19. Yeah my favorite thread ever together with this beauty: 85-90% of posters wanted Rosen when we were picking. Fun times
  20. Agreed. I do understand why people don't like him as a runner, but it is not the only role a RB has on this team. Bills 4th drive yesterday is a good example. Moss trips over himself on the first snap gaining 7 yards instead of maybe 15 and that sucks. But two plays later, on 3&4, his blocking allows Josh to throw 26y sideline completion to Hodgins. That's why they still value him. And to be clear, I am not saying that he should be on the field, I am just saying that not only running matters.
  21. Not sure if this was discussed more so I just go ahead and ask. Lawson got a lot of heat for that hit on my local forum. People claimed that it was dirty. I am not an expert and I don't want to defend player just because he is from Bills, so I'd like to ask: 1. Was it a legal hit? 2. If it was legal, was it fully ok? I mean in the sense that if Allen was hit like this would it be completely fine for you? Refs and Romo surely seemed to think that it was legal.
  22. I said I wrote it a second after I saw it live. I saw wrong
