Not gonna happen. Cutting him left us with §1M dead cap. If they wanted to cut and sign somebody, it would be someone else. He might end up on PS, but not with intention to bring him back immediately.

Seems that both Van Demark and Anderson have made the team. Makes me very happy. Means that they are giving young players a chance and that you can actually earn your roster spot.

My guess is 6th, hoping for 5th. And I guess he could be worth 5th given his abilities/contract, so not that unrealistic.

Speaking about Austin, anybody knows how it works if he (or any other rookie for that matter) ends up on PS and then later in season is signed to 53? Does he get "original" 4-year rookie contract, or that contract ends with his first release and he needs to sign completely new one?

Are you guys suggesting that if WE trade for Keenum and have him on OUR roster until week 6 or so he still qualifies and we keep 3rd round comp pick? That is wild if true.

That Jets D-line looks really good. Jets O-Line on the other hand... Our opener looks like a 20-17 type game.

What I took from your summary and my rewatch is that Brown was much much better than we has given originally credit for. He basically blown that one assignment, it was just very visible and took away Josh's best throw.

Ok understood. If you think Dodson was that bad then it makes sense. I didn't see 2nd half and did not realized he played after he was replaced by Klein in Steelers 3rd drive. SO I guess he was really bad. Which is weird since I remember him being servicable when he started 2 games last year (albeit he was instantly replaced by Klein after he was signed midseason).

Gunner, I wrote it in another thread - I think MLB is much less concern than people make it. Edmunds will be missed, but it is just one guy (one position) and it won't impact the defense that much. As long as offense produces on the same level as last year, we'll be fine. So if anything, we should be worried about Oline play.

People are being way too dramatic about MLB, even otherwise reasonable posters. Defense averaged 17.9 points last year. Even if switching from Edmunds to Dodson would directly cause 4 more points (which I don't think is realistic, it has to be less), we are still fine with 22 points against on average, as long as offense is same or better than last year. Not to mention pass rush should be better (Floyd) and secondary has a chance to be better (White). Defense will be fine with Dodson, Klein, Bernard or whoever else. And we can still adjust putting Rapp there sometimes or so. Same with backup QB, that issue is completely overblown. Only thing that matters is that we have backup QB for league minimum. Only thing that concerns me right now are tackles. That is the real issue if it doesn't get better.

Are you implying by these posts that you only can watch 5min highlights? I am almost sure it's not true. The other options are just hidden a little. I don't have my tablet with me but you need to click on "highlights" or something and other options show up. There are 40min version as well as full version (not sure if cut without breaks as it us to be, I have lovely full version yesterday and didn't check today).

Yeah we discussed this yesterday in GTD with @GunnerBill and also with my local community. It's awful and everyone hates it. There are also other things not working as they used to, e.g. I can't use Chromecast with DAZN so I can't watch on my (a little older) TV and have to use either desktop or tablet. But some people from local community already complained about other things which were fixed so I'll try to contact support.

I left the game for family dinner for 15 mins so right now I am little behind and skipping breaks, but yeah, it's irritating.

Doesn't happen often but I really hope you are wrong on this one. Maybe a miracle happens. Dawkins consistently plays his best football, Torrence emerges as a young star, Brown gets it together after a full off-season and McGovern keeps on progressing and somehow it becomes top 10 unit. A man can hope Anyway, looking back, do you think Beane could've realistically done more this off-season?
