We are currently negative 2.5 mill in cap space for 2025

Absolutely this. People are acting like getting Thomas was an easy thing to do, because they only see he went just 5 picks ahead of our original pick. It wasn't that easy. Maybe Beane tried hard but it was impossible. We didn't have 3rd round pick and it wouldn't be enough anyway. 2nd round could get us to 19 maybe, but who was the trade partner? Like you said, Eagles wanted Mitchell and would miss out if trading with us, Dolphins probably wouldn't trade with us at all, Steelers needed an OT and there was quite a run on them. 19th pick were Rams and they drafted Verse. It is fairly possible that we had precisely zero chance to draft Thomas, but people will still act like Beane was an idiot who only cared about recouping 3rd round pick. -
Wow did he really say this? "We need a real WR"?

This is rare but I agree with this analysis

My brother is a random football fan from Europe who (like almost nobody on this continent) has never played football or has any idea about X and O's Sometimes through the third quarter he texted me that he didn't get why cold Davis was getting snaps. I told him that it was what we do, rotate RBs. He told me he knew, but it was stupid im this game since it was AFCCG and Cook was extremely hot. So there's that. -
Biggest Cause, Regret, Crime in Loss to Chiefs
No_Matter_What replied to ngbills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not executing the tush push. Execute it like whole season -> win. They were ready for it and it just didn't work. Sad part is that to me it was obvious Allen was in on the 4th down and that 4th down shouldn't even happen (Kincaid was in on the 3rd), but still - if Allen was a yard in as he usually is, we are not having this conversation. -
Just some thoughts before I log off for a while...

This is absolutely fascinating to me. It was game of inches. We were inches from possible win, but since we lost, EVERYTHING is bad now. You (and many others) are acting like we are Jets or something. We just lost another 3 point game to a team that probably becomes the greatest dynasty in the history of NFL. It completely sucks but it doesn't mean that this team sucks and is doing everything wrong. -
Agree with this. Today was NOT on him. He made a mistake or two (like going for the 2nd 2pt conversion), but we didn't lose because of him. And maybe he got out coached by Reid, but who doesn't? We are extremely unfortunate to be dealing with freaking dynasty because of that crazy HC/DC/QB combo Kansas has. It won't change if we fire McD and replace with some random dude who had 2 good OC seasons. Having said that, if I was McD, I'd say by myself that I resign next year if we don't make SB.

Well he made a difference today. Normally I don't blame individual players but this one was mostly on him. That was easy NFL catch and if he makes it we are going to OT at worst.

Washington @ Philadelphia - NFC Championship Game thread

Just like I predicted before season, Washington in NFCCG Go Commanders -
Is the AFC Championship the "actual" Super Bowl??
No_Matter_What replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
No, actual SB was Bills-Ravens. -
It's been 48 hours now since I had a fever and my temperature did not drop below 101.3 F (38.5 C). It really sucks before the biggest game of the year, especially since I am from Slovakia and game starts at 30 minutes after midnight local time. Anyway, I'll watch the game and as I said before Ravens game, this one won't be as close. 26-17 Bills, similar to regular season game. And then we will crush whoever wins NFC in SB.

AFCCG, Bills v. Chefs, PREDICT THE SCORE!

Von Miller proves the doubters wrong

I am just rewatching the game and came here to post this. Looking at the replay I still can't comprehend how he held onto that. -
What % of the plays will we play 3 LBs on Sunday?
No_Matter_What replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall
OT, but another thing I find interesting is that even though I thought Von was good against the run all season and they were saving him for PO, he only played 29% of snaps. Groot also played less than usual. Smoot played a lot. -
AFC Championship Game Week Thread - Bills at Chiefs

Numbers are crazy. But having there 4 rows instead of two (wins & points scored) is also crazy -
Potential NFC representative in the Super Bowl
No_Matter_What replied to KingBoots8's topic in The Stadium Wall
We are not losing in SB no matter who the opponent is. I wasn't around here in 90s so I don't feel any need to revenge vs Washington. They are actually my favorite team in NFC. On the other hand, I dislike Philly. So I want Commanders to advance. -
I understand that objectively we are far from that, but I really think we'll win it this year. Yesterday was actually the toughest game. We will beat Chiefs more convincingly and the just crush whoever we meet in SB.
-
I have zero doubt that Josh gets us to the FG range. It would be up to Bass, but I'd trysh him too. We were in good shape once we were up 8.
-
Already discussed in other thread. Kicking FG on 4th down was fine. 3rd down call was bad. Just make two tush pushes in a row (knowing that you are doing the same thing on 4th down from 1y line at worst) and the game is over.
-
My random thoughts: Defense was great. Offense was a problem in the second half, we needed one more TD and they didn't deliver. It's mostly on Brady I guess. Ravens scored too soon. I told my wife immediately that allowing that TD was actually a good thing. Even if they converted 2pt, Josh had 1.30 min and 2 TOs. No way he doesn't get us to game winning FG. Last but not least, like I said in the pregame thread, if Ravens didn't fold (kudos to Lamar that he didn't), then this was always going to be a 31-28 type game. And like I said, Ravens were the toughest team on our way to Lombardi. Against Chiefs we will win by 6-10 points and we will crush whoever we meet in SB.

Let's hope so. He needs to be better next week.
